Chapter 1 Bless the Rain

It wasn't yellow. It wasn't red. It was gray.

Gray skies surrounded me as I crossed the road. It was getting heavier by the minute. The rain was about to pour. And just as I was about to go left around the corner, I felt the first few drops of rain. They were light, like feather touches to the skin, but they weren't friendly. In a matter of seconds I was soaked, and I could barely see the signs ahead.

"Oh god not today!" I thought to myself. I was on my way to work, and the rain has finally given me a sign to take some time off. Kiki's gonna kill me for missing a shift. Fuck it, I'm going home.
