The battle between Rock Lee and Sasuke began. Thanks to Naruto's warning, Sasuke was cautious from the start. But even so, Sasuke struggled against Rock Lee's physical skills.

Even though Sasuke had learned Chidori, his speed wasn't enough. He hadn't mastered using lightning chakra to boost his legs for more speed. Despite being badly beaten, Sasuke's smile grew wider. With his two-tomoe Sharingan, he copied all of Rock Lee's moves.

As Sasuke adapted, he could keep up with Rock Lee. Besides Naruto and Sakura, Rock Lee's teammates, Tenten and Neji, also came to watch the battle.

"So fast, that guy with thick eyebrows is too fast!" Sakura exclaimed, seeing Rock Lee's speed as a blur. Sasuke struggled to keep up.

Naruto exclaimed, "How powerful!" Neji scoffed and said disdainfully, "Is this the top student? He's just so-so."

Bang!

Using his speed, Rock Lee faked and then kicked Sasuke in the chin, sending him flying.

Rock Lee followed closely, leaping into the air as the bandages on his hands unfurled.

At this moment, Naruto intervened, grabbing Rock Lee's bandage and throwing him aside.

"That's enough, Lee. This is just a friendly match between fellow villagers," Naruto said seriously.

"Why are you interfering, Naruto?" Sasuke appeared beside Naruto. His Sharingan disappeared, and the figure falling was a substitution technique's wooden stake.

"How is this possible? When did you use the substitution technique?" Rock Lee exclaimed, eyes wide in disbelief.

Sasuke dusted off his face, "Ninjas aren't just about physical techniques. You've been caught in my Sharingan illusion."

Naruto was also stunned. His warning had helped Sasuke. Sasuke used the Sharingan illusion to control Rock Lee without anyone noticing. Intelligence is vital among ninjas. If Sasuke hadn't underestimated his opponent and used illusions directly, Rock Lee wouldn't have stood a chance.

Realizing his loss, Rock Lee hung his head in frustration. Neji also stopped underestimating Sasuke.

Bang!

Suddenly, a man in a ninja vest, matching green tights, and thick eyebrows appeared on a large turtle.

"Might Guy, he's probably the strongest ninja in Konoha Village now," Naruto said in amazement, remembering the scene from Ivan's memory of the Eight Gates fully opening.

"Another guy with thick eyebrows!" Sakura thought. Sasuke inwardly complained, "Each one is weirder than the last. Konoha Village isn't big, but it has many odd people."

"Lee, you idiot..." Might Guy punched Rock Lee, sending him flying. Sakura, Sasuke, and even Naruto, who knew about it, were shocked by Might Guy and Rock Lee's scene.

Might Guy and Rock Lee burst into tears, hugging each other. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke imagined a rainbow, a sunset, and the sea.

"Lee, you can't be discouraged by a temporary failure! Our youth won't allow it!"

"Yes, Guy sensei!"

Might Guy looked at Rock Lee and said, "As punishment, after you pass the Chunin Exam, you will run 500 laps around the training ground."

"Yes, Guy sensei," Rock Lee saluted 

Might Guy smiled at Naruto and the others, "Haha... How is your sensei Kakashi?"

Naruto smiled, "He's fine. Kakashi-sensei also said Guy-sensei is easy to recognize. and said"His youth is like an acorn, short and sharp."

Boom!

Might Guy was stunned, standing petrified as if struck by lightning.

Naruto waved and added, "Now I see Kakashi-sensei was right. Your youth really is like an acorn. Bye, Guy-sensei, Lee, it's almost time for the exam."

The three in Team 7 walked towards classroom 301, ignoring the petrified Might Guy.

Sakura asked, "Naruto, why did Guy-sensei freeze when you mentioned the acorn?"

Naruto whispered to Sakura, and Sasuke explained.

"What? Did Kakashi-sensei really say that?" Sakura asked in disbelief.

Naruto replied, "I heard it when I was watching the movie version of 'Make-Out Paradise' with Kakashi-sensei!"

"You watch that kind of thing?" Sakura was surprised, but remembered Naruto's Transformation Jutsu and it seemed reasonable.

They reached the door of classroom 301, where Kakashi was waiting.

Kakashi said, "Even Sakura is here. You can now officially apply for the Chunin Exam!"

"Ah!" Sakura and Sasuke were stunned.

Kakashi explained, "This exam requires three people in a team. I didn't tell you because I wanted you to come here on your own. I'm proud of you. Come on, it starts soon."

"Hmm!"

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura nodded happily and entered the classroom, filled with over a hundred Genin candidates.

"Sasuke!!!"

Suddenly, a blonde girl hugged Sasuke from behind.

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at Ino.

Ino said, "We haven't seen each other for so long. I missed you!"

"Ino pig, get your hands off Sasuke!" Sakura shouted angrily. She hadn't even held Sasuke's hand.

Ino teased, "Oh, Sakura, you still have a wide forehead and you're still ugly!"

"Say it again, you Ino pig!" Sakura shouted.

Ino and Sakura started arguing. Sasuke quietly stepped aside. Ino was with Shikamaru and Choji, her teammates in Team 10.

"Hey, everyone's here!" Inuzuka Kiba said rebelliously, with his white puppy, Akamaru, on his head.

Accompanying Kiba were Shino and Hinata, his Team 8 members.

Sasuke softly said, "Kiba, you don't seem nervous..."

Kiba replied confidently, "Of course, we've trained a lot for the Chunin Exam!"

"Naruto....kun." Hinata shyly looked at Naruto while opening her byakugan , her voice barely audible.
