Danzo's past

While Naruto was going on a mission with his team, under the Hokage office in a cave:

"Temni, keep an eye on the Jinchuriki. If you see any signs of the Nine-Tails' chakra, report to me," said Danzo.

"Yes, Danzo-sama," Temni said as he vanished.

Danzo sat, as if remembering something.

Flashback

I am Danzo Shimura, the darkness of Konoha. Though I have been known as a war hawk and a cold being, that's not true. I was happy as a child. It all changed when Tobirama-sensei accepted me as his student. I started to think I could change the world with the little power I had. I saw my father die in my arms during the First Shinobi War. From there, I started to question whether my sensei or Lord Hashirama's thinking and actions were right.

Under Tobirama-sensei, I learned that Lord Hashirama distributed the Tailed Beasts for peace treaties—a decision I found foolish. After his death, the other Kages started wars with the same beasts he gifted them. How could people be so filled with greed? During these wars, I also lost my friend Kagami Uchiha. As per his last wish, I destroyed his eyes.

Gradually, it seemed like someone was controlling the Senju clan, demanding more and more missions, which Sarutobi kept assigning to them. This reduced their numbers significantly during the Second Shinobi War. While we were fighting Suna, other nations massacred the Uzumaki clan, enraging me to no end. I conspired to incite civil unrest, resulting in Onoki losing his daughter and two sons, leaving only one survivor, and the same with the Raikage. From preventing the Senju extinct, I integrated them into the village.

During the Second Shinobi War, we won thanks to Sakumo Hatake. I was very pleased that our village showed its strength, but tragedy struck. There were spies in the village, a matter Hamura was supposed to handle. When Sakumo failed a mission, rumors spread, and by the time we caught the spies, it was too late—Sakumo had committed suicide due to public opinion. With Hiruzen, I removed Hamura from his position and took control, eliminating the spies.

In the Third Shinobi War, we took revenge on Iwa for the Uzumaki, and I saw hope in Minato. However, after becoming Hokage, he too died. What is it with powerful shinobi dying early because of the Nine-Tails? I saw the Nine-Tails' eyes, which were Sharingan. I didn't hate the Uchiha because they are a village asset. So, I decided to move them to the outskirts of Konoha until an investigation into the missing Sharingan and any missing Uchiha bodies could be completed, which would take about ten years.

Then came Shisui. He was powerful, and I considered making him my successor. One day, he revealed his power, Kotoamatsukami, to me. I was scared; he could destroy the village. So, I decided to take his eyes. Then there was Itachi, a genius like Shisui, but Hiruzen brainwashed him into his loyal dog. Over time, the public started to hate the Uchiha too, as I wasn't the only one who saw Sharingan on the Nine-Tails, and the Uchiha's attitude made people hate them. Through Hiruzen, I learned that the Uchiha were planning a coup, so I ordered Itachi to kill all the Uchiha shinobi. But he killed all of them except Sasuke, and their eyes were missing. I assumed it was Itachi. I implanted Shisui's eyes, intending to use them on the Daimyo, who forced us into fighting.

That's why I decided to make the Daimyo loyal to me. With Orochimaru, I conducted experiments with Lord Hashirama's cells, resulting in a product we called the Hashirama cell. I experimented on children from Iwa, Kumo, and Kiri as revenge for the Uzumaki village. Only one survived, named Tenzo.

I started to see changes in the Mizukage, who was also a Jinchuriki, and he began to massacre shinobi or clans with kekkei genkai. I was worried, so I decided to do two things: first, take more power from Hiruzen so no other Hokage could do that; second, release news about the Fourth Hokage's son being the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails. However, the stupid people thought the kid was the Nine-Tails itself. I checked the seal of misukage seal for the Three-Tailswere made by Uzumaki seals too, so I wanted to ensure that the village remained safe.if the kid remain same then i will reveal his heritage to him after chinin exam infront all villager's

Orochimaru suddenly began experimenting with Sharingan, creating a few and artificial Sharingan, which I installed in my arm. With them, I could only perform Izanagi, consuming less chakra than the original one. My goal is that even if my name is not remembered, my village should be safe, no matter the sacrifices I must make, even if it means sacrificing myself.
