**Konoha Village, Hyuga Family, Branch House Training Ground**
With the crackling sound of his palms striking, Hyuga Neji was hard at work practicing his techniques.
"Four Palms!"
"Sixteen Palms!"
His bandaged hand moved with dazzling speed, executing the powerful and mysterious palm technique.
"Thirty-two Palms..."
With a sudden "chap," his final palm strike met only empty air.
Neji pushed forward with determination.
As a member of the branch family, he knew he was not entitled to learn the Eight Trigrams Palms technique.
At just five years old, Neji found himself in this world, his soul belonging to a Naruto fan from Earth.
He had awakened the strongest proficiency system, allowing him to improve his strength simply by repeatedly practicing moves.
As a member of the branch house, he had to hide his true abilities. This meant he was often viewed as a failure, the subject of ridicule.
The sound of approaching footsteps interrupted his training after the last palm strike.
"Hey, Neji, still practicing so late?"
The voice belonged to Hyuga Gintoki, his older brother, whose silver hair gave him an air of confidence.
"I see you're still working on the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms?"
Beside Gintoki stood Hyuga Aota, who was also a year older than Neji.
The two were among the most talented of the branch house and had been bullying Neji for years.
"Such a waste of time, trying to learn the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. It's just a foolish dream!" Gintoki sneered. "You'd be better off picking up some lowly missions—like delivering letters or saving cats—so you won't starve later."
Neji finished his training and attempted to leave, but Gintoki's dark gaze stopped him.
"I heard you've been trying to win over Hinata in front of Hiashi-sama. As a branch house member, how dare you get so close to the clan, kid?"
Neji frowned slightly at the mention of the branch house.
Aota chimed in, "He seems to have forgotten his place, thinking he can impress the eldest lady and one day stand above us."
Their eyes were filled with disdain.
"Brothers, you misunderstood. I only have respect for Ms. Hinata. I'll be going now," Neji said, trying to disengage from their taunts.
"You think you can just leave?" Gintoki lunged at him, grabbing for his neck.
The wind whistled past Neji as he instinctively dodged, his Byakugan activated, giving him a nearly complete view of his surroundings.
"Did you see that? He's challenging you!" Aota shouted, excitement mixed with anger.
Gintoki snorted, rushing toward Neji again.
Neji had to confront him head-on.
"What!"
With a swift motion, Neji dodged Gintoki's first strike effortlessly.
"Huh?" Gintoki was caught off guard, surprised by Neji's ability to evade.
"Try again!"
Gintoki attacked again, but Neji sidestepped once more.
In a moment of distraction, Gintoki struck again, only for Neji to step back smoothly, avoiding all the blows.
"Brother, I can't beat you. I surrender," Neji declared, his tone indifferent.
"Surrender?!" Gintoki's eyes bulged in disbelief. "Aota, did you hear that? He evaded all my attacks and then admitted defeat!"
Gintoki's anger flared, blue veins popping on his forehead.
Aota stepped forward, activating his Byakugan as well.
"You're not even worthy of being in the branch house!" he spat.
"Actually, you're not even worthy of being a Hyuga!" Gintoki added, contempt dripping from his words.
"Think you're so good? All this time practicing, and what do you have to show for it? If we didn't know any better, we'd think you were just performing tricks!"
Neji continued to retreat until he hit the stake behind him.
"If you don't show some real strength today, you'll regret it!" Gintoki threatened.
Despite their taunts, Neji held the lineage of the branch family, with a father of higher status than theirs, and his grandfather was even a clan leader!
When did it come to this?
"I heard that Hanabi's strength is growing. Once Hinata loses her status as heir to the 'waste clan,' you'll be left without support!"
Neji's eyes widened, a flash of killing intent crossing his face.
He focused, chakra flowing from his chakra points.
Years of diligent training surged forth in that moment.
He settled into a fighting stance, turning to the right, his chakra materializing around him, creating a powerful aura.
"Eight Trigrams Palms: Revolving Heaven!" Neji shouted.
