MY WAY NEXT TO YOU

People are running away with the fright seen on their faces. A news flash just headed and told the village people to evacuate,because theré ̓s a big explosion that was going to land on the said area.With the pressure of too much heat and lack of attrition. While glaring around with his innocent eyes. A numb figure sulks on the corner. "Aha! It seems like the monsters was landed here to invade people". He said while chuckling a bit.

Weeks passed, and there is no other living people found out on the said area, that was surrounded by destroyed furnitures, infrastructures, houses, and dead bodies. The odorous smell filled the village. Rescuers found out that the place don't have any chance to recover. So, the government close the place and ordered not to open it to people, for them to forget the disaster happen. But aside from those, there is a curious girl who was suffering from an uncurable disease with life threat and she has only three months left to live. From the story of her died grandmother. She became more eager and have the belief that the mysterious place, have the hidden power that can save her life. With her bag, she hurriedly took a long walk to found and have a step on the place. Later on she found out an old man carrying heavy logs, while walking.

She decided to ask something while on his way home.

''Hey! She gave a wave.''What are you doing here? It's a forbidden place to visit.''The old man blurted out.'' Don't worry ,I don't have any bad plan ,I'm just sick for seventeen years and I only have a month to live.''

She said with a disappointment, seen on her face. The girl asked about the place and accidentally told him about her condition. And when they finally at home, she saw a tall guy, with a huge silver eyes, raven-head,and a bee stung lips, fetching water on a deep well, near the old tree. It seems like her face turned like tomato in red. The male shown a cringe while looking back at her. The old man, told her that he just adopted the boy and his eighteen now and for the coming years; but he's age wasn't be able to change. It seems that he came from a planet that have the rule of age limit.

''At first ,I didn't took it seriously ,I thought he was just a normal kid like others used to be.''The old man explained to her. While on her stay on the unknown place, the old man let her to join them on their small house made of wolf's manure, they pick every midnight. One day, after breakfast, the boy invited the brunette to hang out on the river, and she agreed.''Do you wanna look something here.?He asked." Oh sure .''The female replied. They arrived and got in the boat. While having a good time, the girl accidentally fell into the water. Cometo don't mind, but to help her. He jumped into the river and save her. And when they finally safe they got up and talking about something."Sorry Im not good in swimming.'' She 'said while looking down."No worries but its just 4ft.''He replied as he patted the girl's head and the both cackled. The girl suddenly feels like she's not sick at all. It's like a missing hollow found the place on her body they soon went home and found that day interesting. At the end, the woman found out that the virgin river, was the cure, anyone sought for a long time. After this, she soon went home and sometimes found herself smiling with no reason. She clenched her teeth and thought she's already fell in love with the guy, she met. So, she decided to go there every weekend, to give gratitude and for them to hangout and have time to talk.

The next day, while Hikaru is on her way to visit Cometo. She saw a stone, shaped-like a heart and she decided to put it inside her bag, and she continue to walk. When Hikaru was finally one step ahead on the house of Cometo, she saw him waving at her and Hikaru ran fast. They hugged each other and it seems like they haven't been together for a year. She gave the stone to Cometo and he was so happy like a child who was having a hand of lollipop. Hikaru did'nt expect what Cometo felt, and he told her that the stone she found was the first toy he ever had.A long time ago when he accidentally lost it on the farm where he took a nap ,because he was really tired working to find food for them.

Cometo invited Hikaru inside their house and he prepared a two-piece clubhouse sandwich and cucumber juices. "By the way ,Let's go inside and eat something .''He persuaded her as Hikaru nodded at him.While eating, a beautiful butterfly came at top ,on their ceiling and it left a message before it fly away from them.It stated a threat and warning.

It is written ''You should look at your way carefully and prepare anytime wherever you go.''The two became bubble-headed and thoughtless. They didn't mind the letter ,instead thought it was just a prank. After they ate, Hikaru asked him to have a walk outside and he agreed.In a moment ,Hikaru suddenly asked him bout his parents and if he was aware on the past explosion.Cometo looked down .''I only have Oto-san (means father)who adopted me.''He answered. Hikaru look at him in puzzlement ,wondering how he was born ''Maybe his parents died from an accident.''She used to think,but obviously she can't deny that she felt nothing but sorry.She apologized for what she have said .''Don't mind,It's okay''He indeed.

While on their way ,they saw a little girl crying and it seems like she was so hungry,that haven't took a food for days.They asked about her name.''I'm Megumi .''She replied. ''Where's your mother?'' asked Hikaru.''She left me here for a while but she told me to just stay because she were going to look for our food.''Megumi stated back at her. Hikaru remembered that she kept inside her bag the clubhouse sandwich left on the table.So she decided to give it to her.The young lady suddenly asked Hikaru if the one behind her was her boyfriend.She chuckled and look at the little girl with confusion.''No, he's just my friend,my only friend.''She answered.

After 30 minutes later,the mother of Megumi already there. She gave her gratitude to Hikaru and Cometo."Thank you for taking care of my child."Her mother said."No worries."the both replied.

"It́s okay Okasan. Im with Ms.and Mr. Kind."Megumi said with a grin on her face."Well go ahead."Her mother told them with a hand waved. After that, they sat near the bench to breath some fresh air.Cometo looked at his watch and its already 4 PM."Lets go back,its getting late.'' A 'breathy¬˗like child voice whispered .Before Hikaru started to walk on her way home,She urgently hugged Cometo and shown wide smile."Thanks for spending time with me,Don't forget to visit me again next time.''Cometo said. From a distance,Hikaru gave a big wave and replied "Okay,I will miss you.''

The day came,and it seems like it just a brief time but the happiness cant deny on the both faces.The two shared smiles and motivations.At home,Cometo closed the door and prepared a dinner with his father who yield all day in the farm.The cloudy weather showed a bad vision like the superstitious beliefs and Cometo seen it while closing the windows.
