Upon entering, while Liusi Yoyou immersed herself in the joy of acquiring the demonic crystal, Ye Shu, waiting at the entrance, observed the surroundings without any sign of activity.

He hesitated to step inside, considering the place was the Bureau of Monsters, and maintaining a certain level of decorum seemed wise. He continued waiting, but as time passed, there was no movement, not even a sound that suggested a scuffle.

If there were a fight, there should at least be some noise.

Growing impatient, Ye Shu looked around again and noticed a burly, bruised man with dark skin emerging from the courtyard.

This man was robust, with thick arms, a protruding belly, and a face adorned with a dark, bushy beard, resembling someone dipped in ink.

Ye Shu had never seen such a dark and sturdy man before. He couldn't help but inquire, "Big brother, what happened to you?"

The dark-skinned man glanced at him, his mouth crooked as he replied, "Got beaten up, can't claim welfare now."

Ye Shu raised an eyebrow. This was the second time he had encountered a monster coming to claim welfare. Feeling a bit nervous facing a humanoid monster for the second time, he found the man not particularly fierce, though.

"Is claiming welfare that difficult? A robust and handsome monster like you should have no trouble," Ye Shu asked. The man's spirits lifted with this compliment.

"You don't know. There's a new reviewing officer recently, a ruthless cat. She's cold-hearted, and if she's in a bad mood, she beats people up. I was unlucky enough to catch her attention. Sigh, I can only try next time."

So, there was a brutal cat acting as a reviewing officer now.

The monster world didn't judge strength solely based on appearance. The cat must be powerful, and if she didn't show mercy, small monsters like him wouldn't pass the test.

Ye Shu prayed silently, hoping that Liusi Yoyou wouldn't encounter the cat. Unexpectedly, the dark-skinned man added, "You're the friend of that fox spirit. When I left, she was already fighting the cat."

This was bad.

Liusi Yoyou was not adept at combat, and being so flustered, she was sure to face difficulties against a newly arrived reviewing officer. Considering the cat's temperament, things might not go well.

"Don't be sad. The big uncle told me you're qualified for welfare. It's just that the cat is too nasty," Ye Shu comforted her.

"Really? Did the wild boar uncle say that I'm eligible?"

Ye Shu nodded repeatedly, boosting her morale. However, she quickly became disheartened again. "Even if I'm qualified, I won't be able to pass with such a ruthless reviewing officer."

"Can you file a complaint against such a malicious monster? It's too unreliable that someone like her can be a reviewing officer."

Ye Shu felt indignant. Liusi Yoyou looked confused; it seemed the monster world lacked a mechanism for filing complaints.

Suddenly, a disdainful snort echoed from above, startling both of them. Looking up, they saw a short-eared blue cat perched on the roof, disdainfully glancing down at them.

Liusi Yoyou shivered and hid behind Ye Shu, whispering, "It's her."

It must be said that the Scottish Fold cat was genuinely beautiful, with pure blue fur, amber eyes, and an elegant figure that resembled an angel. Yet, Ye Shu did not find her cute; he considered her far from a good cat.

"Complaints are accepted. Do you want me to teach you how?"

The reviewing officer cat sneered, casually raising her paw and displaying a trace of cruelty in her eyes.

Fearful, Liusi Yoyou pulled Ye Shu and tried to escape. However, Ye Shu, infuriated by the mistreatment, shouted, "You're a damn disgrace, acting like this!"

Ye Shu wasn't afraid. According to the Monster Alliance rules, monsters couldn't kill humans, and this reviewing officer couldn't possibly dare to harm him physically.

Unexpectedly, as soon as he spoke, the cat leaped down and swiftly kicked him in the face, "Annoying."

Although the cat was small, it was still a monster. The kick knocked Ye Shu over, causing blood to flow from his face, leaving two visible wounds.

Completely shocked, Liusi Yoyou tried to intercede, "I'm sorry, Officer. He's a human and doesn't understand the rules, speaking recklessly."

The cat chuckled, "I kicked the human. A mere human dares to comment on my actions? Get lost."

Stunned, Liusi Yoyou dragged Ye Shu away. As they left, Ye Shu, angered by the injustice, shouted, "Damn, are you going through menopause?"

He struggled to stand up, and seeing the cat approaching, he raised his leg for a kick, "Go to hell."

However, the kick missed its target as the cat deftly evaded. Enraged, she remarked, "Well done. I was just thinking about finding a human to vent my anger, and you delivered yourself. Blame yourself for your misfortune."

The cat sneered continuously, leaped into the air, and scratched Ye Shu's face with astonishing speed.

Blood dripped down from the two claw marks on his face, exposing the flesh beneath.

Now completely furious, Ye Shu sprang at the cat. In a sudden attack, he grabbed the cat's tail, lifted her, and performed a spinning motion, creating a rapid turn.

The short-eared cat was tossed five times in the air stupidly, making it dizzy. Then Ye Shu loosened his hand and threw the short-eared cat high into the air: "Fuck you, uncle."

 Next to her, Liu Youyou was stunned. The short-eared cat was also stunned in mid-air. When she landed on the ground, a white light flashed on her body and she turned into a tall woman wearing a blue shirt.

 Her blue clothes and amber eyes, coupled with her graceful figure and delicate facial features, made her look as noble as an angel.

 Ye Shu was so angry that he was dumbfounded. Why did the nasty short-eared cat suddenly turn into a woman?

 "You are very bold, bold people die quickly."

 The woman showed a cold smile and stepped closer. Liu Youyou came to her senses first, picked up Ye Shu and ran: "Run quickly, she wants to kill you."
