Resi was excited that he was able to maneuver through the flail's dangerous attacks towards Bodt. He prepared to kick his face when a black powder explosion happened near his face.
He was taken aback by the surprise, and he could not stop himself from ingesting the black powder through his nose.
*COUGH*
Resi tried to cough it out of his lungs, but it had already affected his body. His knees buckled, and he felt the strength in his body disappear.
He stumbled onto the ground with his knee, and all he could do was look into Bodt's eyes while Bodt stared down at him. Sleepiness overcame his eyes, and he was forced to shut his eyes down.
Slowly, Resi's plopped into the ground, unmoving. Bodt looked down at Resi and nodded to himself. He did not want to injure Resi so much that he would transform into the demon that he saw before.
