After a long moment of tense silence, George cleared his throat. "Amara," he began hesitantly, "could you... could you show me how you did that blood craft technique?"
Amara turned back to face him, her expression a mix of surprise and consideration. She studied George for a moment before responding.
"Of course, I can show you," she said slowly. "But you must understand, George, this isn't something you'll master overnight. It took me years to learn how to use my blood craft effectively. It's something all vampires learn eventually, but each of us develops our own unique style."
George got up, all ready to begin.
'He's eager to learn,' Amara thought to herself. 'Perhaps too eager. What's driving him?'
"I appreciate that," George nodded. "I'm willing to put in the work. I need to understand what I'm capable of."
'And what I'm up against,' he added silently.
