As the sun rose on the horizon, marking a new day in the demon realm, Solon remained in the same position as he had been all night – cross-legged beside his bed, trying his best to conjure living things.
His efforts had borne him no fruits and all his creations had blown up in his face. The number of times he had had to use his divinity for something as mundane as cleaning was embarrassing.
With a sigh, he rose to his feet and paced around the room.
