19. A snack

Hey, I have no excuses for posting this late. I have been writing a lot more lately and hopefully, you guys will get a new chapter in a week

"I haven't eaten anything in a while, so I'm a little hungry..." Yuki explained in a whisper. He was really embarrassed right now.

Everyone looked at him in surprise. They hadn't imagined that Yuki could show such an expression on his face. It totally refreshed the opinion they had of him. Especially the girls.

'How cute!' They thought as they looked at the expression on his face.

Ruri opened her lunch box and took out onigiri. Just as everyone was confused by her actions, they saw her offer up one to Yuki.

"For me?" Yuki asked.

"Mhmm." Ruru affirmed with a nod.

"No, I'm good." Yuki rejected the offer, only for his stomach to growl in protest.

A blush appeared on his face again as he took one of them, "Then, thank you Miyamoto-san." he said with a somewhat bashful smile.

Ruri was surprised for a bit before responding, "No problem."

The others looked on in shock, not understanding what took place. They didn't think Ruri would be the first one to offer up her lunch. They were also shocked by Yuki's smile. If one didn't know better, they would assume that he was getting a gift from his girlfriend.

Yuki took a small bite into the onigiri, "Umeboshi? (Salted Japanese Plum)" he asked.

"Mhmm." Ruri confirmed.

"...It's good." Yuki murmured as he continued eating.

It was then that Yuki felt the stares of the others. He turned to them only to see them acting like they were having their own conversation. Onodera was giving them away though as she struggled to keep up in their spontaneous conversation.

The others didn't know what to do. They felt like they had seen something they weren't supposed to see at all and therefore panicked when Yuki turned to face them.

Yuki sighed as he approached them, resting his arms on the boys' shoulders and asked, "What are you guys talking about?"

"Oh, Yuki. W-We were just talking about the weather. Isn't that right Raku?" Shu said as he turned to Raku.

"R-Right! We were thinking that the weather looks lovely today." Raku said, looking much more nervous than Shu.

Yuki didn't buy it and pulled them closer, just enough that they could hear him whisper, "I'm not going to say much, just that if anyone else hears about this-" a dangerous glint shone through Yuki's eyes as he looked at the two of them.

"Of course." Raku and Shu nodded like chickens pecking at rice.

"Great. Now, can someone tell me what lesson we have after PE?" Yuki asked as he changed the subject.

"We have history I think." Onodera said in response.

Yuki groaned a little. He wasn't really great at subjects that required memory. He wanted to ask who the history teacher was, but decided not to. (A\N: Any Ideas? I also need a science teacher.)

"Damn." Yuki murmured in a barely audible tone

"Oh yeah, weren't you looking for your necklace?" Yuki suddenly said.

Raku also remembered that his necklace had gone missing."Ah, that's right! I'll be back soon!" He said as he rushed out of the class.

"That was quick." Yuki said as he watched him leave.

"Well yeah. He's had that necklace basically his whole life." Shu added. He also couldn't see why Raku valued it so much after so long.

The two boys were unaware that Ruri was watching their interaction. oR rather, she was watching Yuki.

"Is something wrong Ruri?" Onodera asked when she noticed that her friend was staring.

Ruri shook her head as she said, "No, it's nothing."

Yuki sighed as he changed his clothes. He wouldn't have exercised this morning if he knew there would be a PE lesson today. Unfortunately, there was no medicine for regret in this world. (A\N: I've always wanted to use this line)

Yuki was unaware that the boys in the locker room were watching him change. Many of them were shocked after seeing the changes he made to himself. This was especially so after the video of him singing spread around.

And now they were in for another surprise.

Because of the number of skills Yuki had gained in the day, a lot of his stats had increased by a big margin.

This ended with some changes to his physique happening too quickly at one time, which was also part of the reason for his hunger.

They saw that he had toned muscles under his shirt. Especially his legs, which were more defined.

This was more surprising to them since they had never noticed his body before. A lot of them were jealous as they compared themselves to him.

Yuki didn't take any note of this as he called out his status.
