It was year 20XX. The very day that the world ended. As the world that humanity spent thousands to millions of years to develop sooner fell to ruins. For there were invaders, aliens, otherworldly figures that broke the law and order that existed in modern times. And came intruding with enormous and unimaginable powers that truly broke the norms that existed. As nuclear powerhouses were of no threat to these invaders. As it lead to the collapse of society of the entire Human race, unable to retaliate or bring about peace once more. And with no form of power or use that the invaders find attractive aside from the very limited resources that existed. Humanity was forced to slavery, where a multitude of atrocities were committed without regard to morality or ethics. Later on abandoned by the very beings whom left Earth in great disarray and the brink of total utter destruction of the planet itself. However, at the moment they departed infected a few remaining humans that introduced the second catastrophe for those who survived. One of the few that lived is an orphan who recently graduated high school and sought for a normal peaceful life. A wish that was not granted as the 16 Year Old Boy faced the invasion, the end of human civilization. A child with incomparable talent who chose to remain in hiding by conforming to societal standards for the sake of his own form of peace. Something even before the catastrophic event was not attained, as if everything was against him. His name was Zero.

This is a story about a young man, who was living in the present world at the end of 2019. He was only in his early twenties. His early life was tinged with bullying and later on success. But now everything is going down the drain. He failed his studies and is now thinking of what to do. He is scared of failing his elders expectations. But then, all of a sudden, it is all over and everything goes black. When the young man comes to himself again, he quickly realizes that he has gotten himself another chance. -------------------------------------------------- Hello dear readers, this is the first time I am attempting to write a novel of any sort. Finding Solace (being rewritten)

'The Universe is a puzzle. A neverending, never completed puzzle. Its pieces are that which make it unique, its building blocks that define why this universe is the way it is. Mana is not one of these pieces, it does not fit, does not belong. The Universe knows this. It knows you do not belong anymore. And if given the chance, it will reject you, reject you and anything containing the piece that is mana. To end the war you turned back time, and left to stop their arrival. The Universe did not miss this chance...' Prevented from returning to Earth, Jinwoo endlessly seeks to reunite with his loved ones, even if it is through deaths embrace. But for a being such as himself, especially one so interwoven with death, dying comes at a price and as a result he is thrown into an alternate world stricken with higher beings and tied to countless stories. Follow Jinwoo as he is entangled with various strings of destiny and all the while continues to look for a way to return to where he once belonged. Disclaimer I do not own Sung Jin-woo or associated concepts, characters and other that belong to 'Solo Leveling' and it's author Chudong Note: I am rewriting the prologue and still a very long way away from any form of story. Writing is not a priority so updates will be very slow, but I recently got some new inspiration and will hopefully update soon.
