Prologue

"Let of go of me." I hissed trying to pull away from his tight grip around my waist. He was so strong.

"No. You are mine, Kate. Just mine."

I glared at him. "I am not possession and I will never be."

He pulled me closer to his chest, leaving no space between us. So close. Too close. "W-what are you doing?" Why was voice my like that?

He just stared dangerously into my eyes before I felt him claim my lips in a hot searing kiss.
