50: That so hard situation

SAM'S POV

I felt someone's hand had slightly tapped my cheeks. An action that caused me to jolt out from my deep sleep. Slowly, I opened my eyes and then I groaned when I was greeted with a blinding light.

Oh shit. Nasa langit na ba'ko??

When I didn't move again, A light tapping on my cheek continued and then came a deep grumbling sound of someone.

I could really kill this someone who dared to disturb my sleep now!

Dahil sa inis, when I felt that hand had tapped my cheeks again, agad ko ng hinuli ang kamay na'yon then quickly opened my eyes.

I was about to lash at that someone na siyang nanggising sa'kin but I stopped. I stopped as my heart doing the same with my eyes just stayed wide open when I was greeted with a pair of dark annoyed eyes.

Ho-holy shiiiyyt....

Am I having an eye to eye contact with the very demon now? If yes, then does this mean patay na'ko at nasa impyerno na'ko ngayon o mamatay pa lang ako?

Nanatili lang akong nakipagtitigan dito habang mahigpit lang na nakahawak sa kamay nito. Staring at him with eyes wide as his garden around his mansion, unable to utter any words. Just stupidly staring straight to his eyes..

Pero pagkatapos nang mga ilang segundo at hindi pa'rin ako nagsasalita, I noticed his forehead creases as his mouth formed in a thin line.

"What now, Ms. Javier? Are you going to just stare at me now o gusto mong bitawan na ang kamay ko so that we could start searching for Mr. Ganzan now?"

At the mention of that driver, I blinked a few times and then frowned.

"Search?"parang tangang tanong ko dito without moving a bit from him.

"Yes. Search, Ms. Javier. Kaya naman lumayo kana sa'kin ngayon dahil kailangan na nating bumaba. Mason was waiting outside."

"Lumayo?" Confused na tanong ko and then glanced down to analyze our situation. Lalo na sa posisyon namin ngayon.

My face was just a few inches from his own at maliban sa halos nakadagan na'ko rito, I was even tightly clutching his hand now like my life was depended on him.

And when realization finally hit me on my head, my eyes almost ready to pop out from my own sockets.

OH MY GOD!!

At that realization, I quickly pushed him off hard from me---as in 12 inches na layo from him papunta sa bintana sa tabi ko---- saka mahigpit ng niyakap ang sarili ko, wanted to protect my virginity from this maggot!

"A-Anong ginawa mo sa'kin????" gulat na tanong ko rito while hugging myself, trying to protect myself from him, from this monkey na posibleng pinagsamantalahan ang katawang lupa ko!

"Bakit ang lapit-lapit mo sa'kin hayop ka???!!! You didn't try to do anything stupid while I'm asleep, did you???!"

Agad na umarko ang kilay nito pagkatanong ko dun, looking at me as if I had finally gone out of my mind.

"Anong tingin mo sa'kin, Ms. Javier? Manyak? You didn't perhaps bump your head in your dream, did you?"

"Kung hindi nga, then why are we in that position then? I know for sure na isang upuan ang pagitan nating dalawa kanina before I sleep at ngayon! Why the hell am I so closed with you now???!" Asik ko dito, still unable to let him off with this without even giving me an explanation!

As in an acceptable and detailed explanation!

He just shook his head at me with disbelief look in his eyes. As if I was just over reacting.

This shit! Makakalbo ko talaga to ng di oras ngayon!!

"I don't need to tell you why, Ms. Javier. What you need to know is that I didn't do anything stupid like what you're thinking right now."

Aba't! Walang hiyang gagong 'to----

"Mas mabuti pang punasan mo nalang 'yang laway mo imbes na mag-ingay ka diyan."

Laway?

At the mention of 'laway', my annoyance towards him suddenly fly out of the window as embarrassment instantly took in.

Dali-dali ko ng pinunasan ang bawat gilid ng bibig ko, making sure to clear out my face without looking at him.

Bweset! Ba't hindi ko agad naisip yon? Now I don't have the face to confront him now kung anong nangyari-----

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted when I heard him cleared his throat sa kabilang upuan, now looking at me with pure distaste.

"Hindi ko sinabing sa mukha mo, Ms. Javier.... But this." He said with pointed voice sabay turo sa baba.

That made me followed where his index finger had pointed. At Napakunot na lamang ang noo ko when he had pointed his chest.

"What? Do you want me to wipe your chest now imbes na bibig ko?"

Agad na umasim ang mukha nito pagkarinig sa'kin as his lips thinned in line.

"No. But this, Ms. Javier. Look at it closely so you could see the concrete evidence of how you have drooled all over my shirt while you were asleep!"

When he shouted that, my wide eyes quickly zoomed in at his shirt to find my drool and when I saw it, that slightly wet mark in his shirt, I felt like my blood had ran cold dahil sa pagkapahiya.

Holy cow! May bakas pa nga! Mukhang pinaliguan ko nga talaga ito ng blessings kanina! Diyos ko poooo...

I wished the ground would open up now at lamunin na'ko ng buo dito because I don't think I'd be able to face this kind of embarrassment now! Hindi ko kaya 'to!

"Now? Do you think you can wipe this off, Ms. Javier? If you're still not aware, isang pares lang ng damit ang dala ko and this pair I have right now."

When he stated that, ang tanging nagawa ko lang was to give him a guilty smile that for sure appeared like a grimace.

"I-I swear.. malayo lang ang pagitan natin kanina kaya bakit....." I trailed off as I grimaced when his eyes darkened.

But heck! I have to be brave now at harapin ito and instigate him why the hell I'm in this situation now.

"Kaya bakit naging ganun nalang tayo kalapit sa isa't isa paggising ko, Mr del Fuero? Hindi naman to mangyayari if you hadn't moved near me!"

"Don't even try to change the topic here, woman. You know I only have one shirt left now kaya gumawa ka ng paraan para palitan ito!"

Napapangiwi na lamang ako when he had shouted that in a rather loud voice. Yeah shit. I think he's so cooked up now dahil sa damit niyang yan.

"Why don't you just a buy a new one then? May tindahan naman siguro dito kaya bumili ka nalang ng kahit ilang pares ng damit ang gusto mo. What do you think?" Napapangiwing saad ko na lamang while trying to suggest that to him.

"This is your fault so you should be the one who should buy that for me!"

Oh-oh. Balak pa yata ng gagong 'to na gumastos ako just for his shirt. This stingy bastard!

"Kung hindi ka lang sana kasi lumapit-lapit sa'kin kanina, eh di sana, safe yang shirt mo ngayon and----"

"And now you're blaming me!" I winced out when he had suddenly snapped that out, surprising me with its intensity.

"Pagkatapos mo'kong gawing unan kanina and even made me put in a mesirable situation, talagang gusto mo pa' talaga akong sisihin ngayon! I couldn't even moved my arm well now with how numb it was and...." Blah blah blah...

He just continued with his two pages long speech, making me more guilty dahil sa nangyari rito and for putting him into that situation.

Oh no. Mukhang hindi nga talaga ito nagbibiro with him looking so ready to sack me or even bit me off with how ungrateful I was to him. For him offering himself to be my pillow through out this trip.

At dahil nagsisimula na rin akong marindi sa ingay nito, I think I have to stop him now.

"You had even dared to bless me with your drool kaya kailangan mong---"

His mouth snapped shut nang bigla ko na lamang itinaas ang kamay ko to shut him up.

"FINE!! FINE! FINE! You won! Gagawan ko na ng paraan yan, okay?"

He frowned when I'd uttered that with resignation.

"How? Are you going to buy me a new shirt now?"

Agad namang umarko ng bongga ang kilay ko sa tanong na'yon.

"Buy you a new shirt? Huh! Hindi ko sinasabing bibilhan kita ng bago, Mr. Del Fuero kundi lalabhan ko lang yan mamaya para maging bago. As in 'BA.GONG.LA.BA.'"

"WHAT???!" Again, I grimaced when he'd shouted that with loud deafening voice na para bang hindi makapaniwala sa sinabi ko.

This shit! Akala nya talaga siguro gagastos ako ng kahit singko just for him! There's no way in hell I'd do that!

"Yes you heard it right, Mr. Del Fuero at hindi ka lang binabangungot ngayon, talagang lalabhan ko yan mamaya if I ever got a chance later. Alis na tayo!" And then with that, dinampot ko na agad mula sa sahig ang bag ko saka agad ng lumabas mula dun.

I know he was almost ready to strangle me now dahil sa inis nito sa'kin ngayon while growling like a furious lion. Pero hindi ko na ito pinansin ang just leave him there. Pagkalabas ko, I shivered when I was suddenly greeted with the swirling cold wind of Mindanao.

A cold wind that for sure what he needed right now para humupa naman ang galit nito sakin ngayon.

Talaga ngang malamig sa lugar na'to kahit tirik na tirik pa ang araw. So different from Metro Manila.

"Hey Samantha! Nagising ka rin sa wakas. Thank God!"

When I heard that, I turned to my left and then smiled when I saw the grinning Mason approaching to my way Oblivious with our heated spat awhile ago.

Mukhang ang saya-saya parin nito hanggang ngayon.

"I'm sorry. Tinulugan ko lang kayo kanina, I just don't get much of sleep this past few days kaya---"

"No. It's okay. Cameron had enjoyed it anyway so it's really owkey."

Agad na kumunot ang noo ko when he suddenly spouted that with a thumbs up sign.

"Wait. Did I just heard you said 'Cameron had enjoyed it', Mason? I've heard you well, haven't I, Mason?"

Mason quickly nodded at me while grinning.

"Ahuh. Ahuh. You heard me well, Sam. Though I'm not sure kung okay lang si Cameron kanina because I'm sure as hell you had gave him a pretty hard on there------"

"MASON!!"

That made us turned to Mr. Del Fuero's way na ngayo'y kabababa pa lamang ng chopper nang bigla na lamang niyang isigaw 'yon, eyes throwing a deadly and threatening look on Mason habang umuusok na ang ilong nito.

I wonder what got him to react this way now. Alam kong asar na asar na ito sa'kin ngayon but seeing him throwing a threatening look at Mason's way, aba aba! Iba na'to!

Ano ba kasing nangyari habang tulog ako kanina?

Mason guiltily grinned at his friend while making a peace sign with his fingers.

"Oopss. Sorry man. Nadulas lang.." depensa agad nito habang natatawa pa, mockingly held up both of his hands up which made me more curious to know about it. That 'laway' matter suddenly forgotten.

"Mason? Pwede mo bang ipagpatuloy 'yong sasabihin mo sa'kin? What do you mean I had gave him a pretty hard---"

"IT.WAS.NOTHING.MS. JAVIER!"

I glared at him when he' had dared to cut me off, acting like a bull ready to attack me if I uttered that 'hard' thing again.

"Pwede ba, Mr. Del Fuero! Ano ba kasing nangyari kanina huh? Don't even try to say it was just nothing dahil alam kong hindi!!!" Asik ko rito, now ready to get the answer from them by force.

But unfortunately, the bastard just glared at me at hindi man lang sumagot. And when I turned to Mason, agad na naman itong ngumisi sa'kin, annoying the hell out of me.

"Hard. Meaning -- you had put him in a very hard situation back there, Samantha and..."

"And what?" Atat na tanong ko dito when he trailed off and seems like he was searching for an explanation in his mind.

My brow arched up when I saw him looked at Mr. Del Fuero's way.

"Well, nagkaroon ng konting turbulence kanina while we're airborne kaya naman kailangan niyang tabihan ka para hindi mapano ang ulo mo kanina at yan nga! Nangangawit 'yong balikat niya because you had slept on his arm throughout the ride. Yes! Ganun na nga! You had put him in a hard situation back there! SOO.SOO.FUCKING.HARD, SAM! " OA pang saad nito sa huli , as if he was convincing himself na tama nga sya.

Tsk.tsk.tsk. such a failure for an actor..

Napapailing-iling na lamang ako while looking at him at sa nakasimangot lang na gago sa kabila.

Mukhang may tinatago nga 'tong dalawang 'to. No doubt.

Pero di bale, malalaman ko rin naman yon soon. For now, we have to move now.

With that thought, agad na lamang akong tumango and then turned to Mr. Del Fuero.

"Enough with this now. Kailangan na nating magsimulang bumiyahe ngayon."

"Biyahe saan?"litong tanong agad ni Mason sakin with questionable look in his eyes.

I let out an exhausted sigh and then take out something from my pocket.. A small paper where I had written the exact address of that driver kaninang umaga.

"Sitio Mabundok, San Isidro, Bukidnon? Jesus! Just the name of that place itself really scares me, Sam!"

I groaned when Mason suddenly exclaimed that out while peeking through the paper I was holding with. Looking so horrified with that name of the place.

"Kung puno nga ng bundok 'tong lugar na'to, then I guess this would be a great chance para magmountain climbing ako. Really perfect para magpapawis. We have to move now! Let's go!" Aya ko na sa kanila saka agad ng umalis sa lugar na'yon with my backpack on my back, ignoring Mr. Del Fuero's murderous glare at me.
