Taking the bait
Kevin Lee felt like he had hit rock bottom. He had been working as the campaign manager for Governor Smith, who had just lost the governorship debate to his rival, Congressman Hills. The debate had been a disaster for Smith, who had the advantage initially but things changed when the Russo cartel event was brought up during he debate, questioning the credibility of Governor Smith.
The polls showed that Congressman Hills had gained a huge lead over Smith after the debate, and that Smith's chances of winning the election were slim. Kevin felt frustrated and angry. He had invested so much time and energy into Smith's campaign, hoping to make a difference in his life. He was their link to the Martinez cartel and a henchman who has proven his use.
He hoped to step into the world or politics through this method but no everything was going wrong
Kevin's phone rang. It was Smith.
"Hey, Kevin. How are you doing?" Smith asked in a calm voice.
