Ten years later, Yuze became a police officer after his father sacrificed his life to save him. He is very intelligent and book smart. But sometimes, he will struggle to befriend people because of his icy exterior and stern facial expression.
Xinyan was required to partner up with Yuze, who did not oppose, but let her follow him wherever he goes. Xinyan initially struggled to keep up, but she continued because if she gives up, she will never find the real reason behind her older brother's death.
During their interactions, Xinyan learned many useful things. Xinyan wanted to understand Yuze and his backstory. But the sudden appearance of an old friend, who wasn't kind-hearted anymore but came back as a killer.
