MAGIC CIRCLES

Quinn found himself sitting across from Sultria once again. This time, they had a bowl of fish separating them. He wondered what they were going to do with it.

"We are going to be looking onto the fundamentals of healing magic today," Sultria began while withdrawing a knife from behind her. She slashed it expertly across the pond and one of the fishes in it gained a large gash on its back.

Quinn could only stare blankly at her as she withdrew the fish from the tank without getting a single drop of blood or water on her white kimono.

"Since you were so quick in memorizing the three books I had given to you," She continued after dropping the fish on the floor, "We'll be moving a bit faster than I normally do"

Quinn nodded silently and nothing else. He was pleased that he had been able to learn the books in only two days rather than the three he had been given, but he didn't think gloating would do him any good here.
