Things were starting to get back to normal, me and Nevaeh decided to form a relationship, I needed someone to make me believe that it was worth living.

Finn didn't know, no one but me and Nevaeh knew.

She and I were planning to go out on a date tonight. I was getting ready, I had put on an elegant suit, a tie that matched the suit, I wanted to surprise her. Darren was waiting for me outside the door.

"Where are you going dressed like that?" "It's none of your business."

"If I told you I found out an important detail. You know these days you haven't had time to think about the situation with the fortune and finding Adele's son."

I'm a little confused, what does he mean by that? That he found him or something?

"I understand but what do you mean by that?"

"I mean, my sudden departure was for a reason. I found Adele's son. Apparently he's a former colleague of ours."

"A former colleague of ours? But that's impossible! We would have known!"

"Not necessarily. Do you remeber Carl?" "Yes! Don't you remember I was friends with him?"

"I remember, well he's your cousin, I thought you'd like to know."

"Where are you going?" he says as he grabs my waist and pulls me towards him.

"You think I told you all these things so I wouldn't get something in return?"

"Man have you got no shame? After what you did to Finn, you want to do something to me too?"

"But what does it matter what I did to him? You're not Finn, you're Hugo, don't just keep comparing the situations, it doesn't make sense. Besides, you're in such a hurry."

"I'm in a hurry because I don't want to keep my girlfriend waiting."

He didn't seem the least bit shocked that I was in a relationship, he probably expected it.

"It was clear that she liked you since we were at the hospital in the waiting room, she was making sweet eyes at you, it was very clear that something was going to happen between you two, I don't think it will last long. I get angry and leave, I didn't want to hear such negativity anymore. I had a reservation at a luxury restaurant, I get there and I see her in front of the restaurant, she was so beautiful, she had a purple dress that reached her knees, she had makeup that looked very natural, it highlighted her features. She looked at me with a sweet look and we went inside'. We sit down at the reserved table and order, while we were waiting for the food to come we talked and suddenly she says.

"Hugo, I have a question, don't freak out, but how does Serenity know we're together?"

My heart is sinking, did Serenity know about my relationship with Nevaeh? But how since I haven't made it public yet? She shows my message.

"Nevaeh, I think you and Hugo want me to come back faster, I didn't accomplish everything I had planned, I don't recommend that you want me to come back, how I know is none of your business, what is your business is to ensure your safety." She didn't want to admit it but she was scared, scared that she might die, scared that something might happen to her, scared that something might happen to me.

I was at home lost in thoughts, I had received a message, from Serenity. I didn't want to answer but I looked at the message. "Karma is going to bite you Darren and by the time you realize it, it will be too late." What the hell does she mean by that? I've been blocking her number for a few days now, but she always has other numbers to text from, I gave up blocking her simply because it's pointless. It won't change anything, if karma is going to eat me, it will eat me without letting me know. I put my headphones in and try to listen to some music, I go to the bathroom and on the big mirror was written in red
