Murakami Flowers

Japan.

A little past 5 in the morning when a heavy snow landed in the city of Fukuoka.

Cold wind, the snowflakes hitting gently on the ground, a beautiful scenery can be seen on the window while the sun is starting to shine and a loud snoring can be heard at a person's room. The room contains a bed, a desk with a computer on top of it, a chair, a drawer and a few books can be seen at the corner. The weather was perfect for lazing around until the sky falls. But not for Haru. Haru was still sleeping peacefully and was dreaming when he was jolted awake from the voice that sounded outside his room.

"Haru.....!! It's your first day of class. Are you planning to be late??"

"Mom, let me sleep a little more"

"Do you want me to come in and spank you?"

"Aiyo! I'm coming... I'm coming..."

Haru checked his phone, it was 6:30 in the morning. No wonder his mom is angry at him, he lost track of time. After checking the messages and his newsfeed, he rolled out of his bed. It was still a little bit cold so he immediately washed his face, brushed his teeth and prepared his things then gone downstairs to eat breakfast.

The breakfast was simple. It consist of pan fried egg seasoned with salt and pepper, fried dough and milk. After eating breakfast, Haru took a bath, prepared himself and went out carrying his transparent umbrella. He went to a bus stop which is 200 meters away from their house.

The snow still hasn't died down and seems not to stop until noon.

When he was inside the classroom, his friends greeted him and nagged his head.

"Yo Haru! Did you hear the news? There will be a new student. Heard he was beautiful as hell!"

Haru was still in a daze because he wasn't used to all this. He haven't even saw his friends for a whole month. "So hell looks beautiful now? Sakamoto?" Haru said with nonchalance. It's true though, he doesn't really care about people around him.

"Soooo.. did you see the new manga that Hiromi Arakawa released? Sakamoto asked feeling very excited about it

"I did! It's actually pretty good..." And so they kept chatting and really seems to be close. In fact, they are friends since middle school. 2 years ago, a group of bullies made fun of them. Haru and his friends can't take the bullying and they fought the bullies. Guess what? Haru got a black eye, Sakamoto suffered a fracture and Takamura fainted when a fist landed on his face.

Then the bell ranged.

Haruka is sitting at the corner near the window. You can see the snow falling. Haruka is supporting his head with his hand and seems to be very bored. Oh? the snow seemed to stop a little thought Haruka. Without knowing it, he fell asleep.

5-6 years ago.

"Mom! see my painting. It is a flower mom, it's called roses..." Haru was still a child when he did it but, every detail of the rose was drawn to perfection. But the thing is that the roses was pierced through the hand of someone. It starts at the palm and lasts in the forearm. You can see blood dripping down. The drawing was so life like. It is beautiful at the same time....scary. When his parents saw this, they were greatly shocked. They decided that Haru will have an arts class, this will greatly improve his skills and at the same time hone his attitude as an artist. There he meet a girl, whom he fell in love with unknowingly because he was still a child. On the first day he bumped in to her. Cute face, pretty nose, clear skin, innocent eyes and a smile that can melt a person's heart.

"I'm...sorr.."

"It's fine", the girl replied smiling. "I'm Mizuki, who are you?

"Whoever you want me to be" Haru replied.

The cute little girl blushed because no one has ever said that to her.

"Let's play at the park!", the girl beside her said

"Sounds good", Mizuki replied.

"Wait! My name is... Hey!", Haru shouted. She turned back and just smiled at him.

BAM!!! A chalk hit his head while still dreaming. "Haru, you're pretty bold to sleep in my class" the teacher said strictly.

"I'm sorry!

"Mom, Dad, I'm back! Haru said then he dropped his bag and went towards his room. He lied down comfortably on his bed while checking the news with his phone.

Haru thought to himself, "when will I be the best painter in the world with a net worth of approximately $125 000?"

"Dinner is ready!! Haru let's eat".
