" He's late!!" Naruto shouted.

" Yeaahh, he's like that, so get used to it." I spoke as read a book under a tree.

" Mhm." Scathach agreed as she laid on my lap with her face squished against my stomach.

Shiro was taking a nap on a nearby branch.

Sakura glared at Scathach in jealousy, which Scathach ignored.

My cat ears twitched as it picked up Kakashi, observing from a nearby bush between the trees.

' His heartbeat... He's probably thinking about his old team.' I thought as I glanced at his direction before focusing on the book.

' Gotta finish this rune book. Didn't get to finish it with all the chaos that happened in the journey with the Argonauts.'

I felt Scathach wrap her arms around my waist as I patted her head.

Sakura began to bite her thumbnail as she tried to calm herself.

" Hey guys, good morning!" Kakashi greeted.

" You're late!!" They shouted st Kakashi put a clock on a nearby tree stump.

" Ok, it's set for noon."

Team 7 looked confused as Kakashi held up two bells.

" Here are two bells. Your task is to take these from me before the time is up."

" Those who don't have a bell by noon...gets no lunch. I'll not only tie you to one of those stumps, but I'll also eat it in front of you."

I could hear their stomachs growling as they heard Kakashi.

" Oh! can we join?" I smirked, which caused Kakashi to freeze.

" No." He replied.

I'm sure Kakashi realized he would have a rough time with me and Scathacth.

Especially since the both of us get bloodthirsty in the heat of battle.

' Now that I think about it, I have been able to control my impulse without gamers mind.' I thought inwardly as I watched Naruto charge at Kakashi.

' He's able to use wind breathing... That's great.'

Kakashi seemed to realize this as he blocked Narutos' attack.

I watched the scene play out like the manga, but a cat appeared with a scroll.

" Meow." I gave the cat a fish from the inventory as it started chewing on it as I read the scroll.

" It appears he's making a move."

" Hmm." Scathach responded as she opened her eyes.

" Tell the Hokage I'll be there." I spoke to the cat who responded with a Meow.

" But Yuto...the Hokage doesn't understand cat." Scathach pointed out as I froze.

" Riiight..." I looked away as I teleported the both of us to the Hokage Building.

we appeared in front of the Hokage who was smoking.

" it appears Danzo had taken the first step, Yuto... I only want you for this mission." The Hokage had a serious face.

" Me?

The Hokage stood up as he made a sign that made the Anbu on standby to leave.

" I dont know your true strength, and with the cat clans as you're summing, but I know that I could trust you with suppressing Danzo." The Hokage looked out of the window.

" Can't we just kill him? I'm sure he committed every crime in the law book." I spoke.

" That's true... with evidence of his evil deeds, he could be executed. But we can't."

I looked at Hokage like he's an idiot.

" You still hold those old feelings... but I can't fault you that, after all we're humans."

The hokage nodded.

" You're smart... very smart. Which is why I don't want you in the Anbu anymore." He turned around to look at me with a serious face.

" I want you to be the next leader of the Root. To protect the Village in the shadow and its Hokage. Lord Fourth... if only..." He gazed into space with regret.

" If only he and his family were protected... maybe he wouldn't have to sacrifice himself. Which is why I have chosen you."

" I give you full permission to lower Danzos' position so you could replace him. After all, he is getting old." The Hokage chuckled.

" By replacing Danzo, that'll mean I'll have to put down every root Ninja... Do you want to sacrifice them as well?" I narrowed my eyes as the Hokage nodded.

" If it must be done for the betterment of this village." He responded.

" Why the change?" I folded my arms.

The Hokage chuckled as he placed a scroll on the table.

I immediately knew who's scroll it belonged to.

" Shisui..."

" Yes." The Hokage smiled.

' If it's from him...then maybe... yeah, it's time.'

I nodded.

" Alright. I'll get it done." I responded.

Scathach and I both flickered away.

" Need any help?" I looked Scathach, who had a smile on her face.

" Sure." I smiled.

Late at night...

" This is the fifth one." Scathach spoke as she swiped her spear from all the blood it had.

" Yup. This one's useless." I threw the dead body on the ground.

" Let's head home. I'm sure mom cooked something delicious...!!" We both looked down the hallway to see more root shinobis.

we both took a step back into the shadows as we hid as the group passed by us.

" J... just what happened here!!"

" Was it a beast!?"

I unsheathed the hidden blade.

' Breath of Massacre.'

' Form Zero: Hidden fury.'

I plunges the blade into the targets throat before the others could look back. Scathach already did a sweep attack, which killed almost half of the group.

with deadly speed, I dashed through all the targets and their heads separated from their necks.

* Thud!*

their bodies fell as I looked down at the hidden blade.

' It's becoming dull.'

I should upgrade it once I get home.

" Come on. let's trash this place and get some food. I'm hungry." I turned to Scathach, who finished off the last Root Shinobi.

" Sure." She replied.

We arrived home to see mother finishing setting up the table.

" You're back? go wash your hands. The food is ready...Hey no eating!! Wait for Yuto and Scathach!!" Mother smacked the back of my fathers head as he tried to stuff the food into his mouth.

Scathach chuckled as we both went to wash our hands.

" By the way, where's Shiro?" Mother asked.

I shrugged.

" probably becoming the king of cats in the village."

Father chuckled.

Mother ropped her eyes as she looked at Scathach.

" So? when are you two getting married?" She asked.

" Huh! where is Shiro? I gotta find that darn cat." I was about to leave, but Father held my shoulder.

" Oh, we'll leave when we both get older. maybe around 17?" Scathach responded as my father gave me a thumbs up as I replied with an elbow to his side.

" Uh, you know we could talk about this later..." I tried to find a way to change the subject only to fail as my father and mother listened to Scathachs plan on our marriage and future.

I saw Scathachs smirk as she came up with ridiculous answers.

' I never gave it any thought. Shit!' I knew if I didn't find a way to answer my mother who I know will question me next.

' Right! I could use that!' By absorbing more nature energy, I turned into a cat and escaped.

" Wha!? Yuto turned into a cat!!" Father shouted as he tried to catch me.

" Meeeeoooowwww!!!" I escaped.

' Thank you, Suki!!' I thanked the cat lord herself for teaching me this method.
