"Lady Kaoma, we haven't been formally introduced yet. I am Professor Titus and I hope my students have not caused you any trouble."
The children buried their faces behind Lady Kaoma's dress. "No they haven't," replied Kaoma smiling earnestly at the scene, "these sweet little kids have been nothing but darlings. I'm pleased to meet you Professor Titus. Anytime you need a break feel free to bring them here and get a short respite."
"I fear I may have to take you up on that offer much sooner than you think."
Professor Titus didn't exactly answer with a smile but he didn't turn down her proposal instantly either which she considered a positive sign.
He waved them over and the students, especially Jax, gave Kaoma one last squeeze before they traipsed obediently over to his side.
Professor Titus towered over the children and even though in their eyes he must have looked imposing to Kaoma it seemed that he was trying very hard to be stern.
