CHAPTER- 2 THE NEW TURN

"Meera are you ready dude?" Ron asked me.

"two minutes "I said clearing my voice.

"Ok hurry up we are waiting for you downstairs "he said walking away from my room door.

I was in my washroom crying seeing myself in the washroom mirror, when Ron called me.

we decided to attend the annual music festival, and Ron also succeeded in suppressing the rumours about that incident with the help of our PR team. But I am still scared, moreover I am seeing a strange man in my dreams,or to be more appropriate nightmares. I haven't slept properly for days now. I don't know what exactly is that dream about.

"Hurry up dude!.." Ron said

"Ok then let's go " I said while getting in the car with Ron and Ana.

we reached the airport within 15 minutes and there was a huge crowd of our fans cheering for us, I almost cried seeing them all,we clicked pictures together and then we left from there, but suddenly a man passed away by me ,he felt very similar to me, I don't know why ,I have never seen him yet it felt like I've known him for ages. I stood there dumbstruck and just watched him disappear in the crowd. I wanted to stop him but media and our fans were surrounding us.

"Hey meera what happened?" Ron asked me as he noticed all this.

" I....thought it ....was.." I said still looking in that direction.

"what is it ?" He asked

"nothing, maybe I thought, I saw someone familiar ." I said

" leave it maybe you remember one of our old fan till now,let's go or we'll be late." he said grabbing my hand.

"yeah let's go then ..." I said still looking back.

Then we both boarded on the plane

"leave me please...Aaah...let me go..please..please"

"Aniket.....help me please...."

"No need to shout sweety nobody will hear you"

"meera go....run ..go meera..."

"no..."(bullet sound)

"no ....." I woke up shivering.

Ron was sitting beside me, holding my hand.

"Meera what happened? are you alright " he asked me worriedly.

I didn't said anything and ran to the lavatory and locked myself in. Ron just stood outside and knocked the door again and again.

"meera..?Meera....? are you alright..dude if something is wrong talk to me come out please don't scare me" he said leaning on the door.

I was still trembling, and thinking about that incident gave me anxiety. I was scared, very scared,I couldn't listen anything anymore and started gasping for breath. I got a panic attack. and then Ron somehow managed to open the lavatory door,then he brought me to my seat,even the flight attendants were scared after seeing me like that. I was still trembling and my hands got stiff.

"meera.....meera look at me ...look at me everything is fine..I am here with you don't think about it anymore.." he said rubbing my back and holding my hand.

" uhh...I....h...he.."I tried to say.

" shh...shh..everything is fine just inhale and exhale " he said still sitting beside me.

then I fell asleep. by the time I woke up we already have landed.

We were now in the hotel, where other guests and our team was staying, I was sitting on a couch in the hotel lobby,while Ron was there at the reception checking-in, and bringing room keys.

When I was sitting I saw K.THx . approaching they came bowed and then sat on the sofas near me.(K.THx. is a famous K-pop boy band which has 7 members)

"hy.... we are K.THx. and I am the leader of the group do-woon,nice to meet you and you are? "a asian man with golden coloured hair said while offering his hand for handshake.

"Hy..I am meera jai Singh member of "The rockstars " nice to meet you" I said awkwardly shaking my hands with him.

"and yah let me introduce my group members...."he said with a smile and dimpled cheeks.

"we can do it ourselves hyung" a man said something in Korean which I didn't understand.

then they introduced themselves one by one

"hy.I am the eldest member and Most handsome man in the world SEO-joon"

" hello I am yae-joon nice to meet you"

"hy ..I am shi-woo "

"hy I am min-joon"

"hello I am haa-joon"

"and he is our most talented member...his highness Joo-won "

"hyung..." a cute man pouted and said.

"Hy I am joo-won the youngest member of this group " He said with a big smile on.

"Hy nice to meet you all.." I said.

by the time Ron was already there with our room cards in his hands.

"Meera...let's go " he said standing beside me.

"and He is the leader of our group Mr Ron Vincent " l said looking towards Ron.

"Hy Mr Ron myself Do-woon leader of K.THx. and they are my team members.." do-woon said.

" I know you..all And I am also a fan of yours" Ron said smiling like an idiot

"really, actually we also like your songs very much" do-woon said.

"I am so flattered " Ron said shyly as a newly weded bride.

they all were chatting and I was just sitting there quietly.

AFTER 20 DECADES

(after 20 minutes 😅)

"then Mr Ron we look forward to our cooperation " do-woon said

"yes sure I will be really happy to do so" Ron said.

"can we go..." I spoke breaking my silence.

they all looked at me as if I was a sinner.

"yeah sure..let's go" ron said to me

" oh so sorry Mr woon but my friend is not feeling well today so we have to go,I hope you won't mind." Ron said to Do-woon.

"oh, no not a problem carry on please,even we are going to our rooms now" do-woon said.

we were walking through a corridor when I heard something,I turned back to check but there was nobody, Ron was still talking to K.THx. and I just stood between the corridor after some time whole corridor was silent and empty, just a man in a black hoodie was approaching me .I just froze there.and starting shouting like a Lunatic.

"No....No..."

"leave me alone.."

"help me ....help me.."

"meera .....meera...meera " Ron said bringing me back to the reality.

"huh.." I responded

"what happened meera?" he asked shaking me by my shoulders.

"he was...here...he..wanted to...kill me.." I said trying my best to not cry.

"what are you saying meera nobody is there" he said pointing towards the corridor.

"but I .."

"is every thing alright here ?" Seo- joon and other members asked.

As I totally forgot everybody standing there,I felt very embarrassed. I took the keys from Ron's hand and ran towards my room .

Next morning we had to rehearse for our performances so everybody was there, and coincidentally K.THx. , our band, and my independent performances were in a sequence ,so they were present there .

"Good morning..." joo-won said to me

"good morning.." I replied

" how are you feeling now your friend said yesterday you were not well ?"he asked.

"I am fine now thank you" I said smiling at him.

" you know what I am so excited about today's performance, I am going to sing my new song for the first time."he said smiling while showing all his teeth .

"really, that's great " I said

"ok now MJ mam it's your turn come up here on the stage "

" bye then gotta go" I said while leaving

"good luck" he shouted from standing there.

I just chuckled on his cute behaviour and got up on the stage .and then I started singing.

I was singing on the stage very confidently,and I could see Joo-won and my friends cheering for me every thing was just awesome. Like a beautiful dream.

"woohoo...MJ ...MJ...MJ "

then my performance ended.

"you are a great singer, although I didn't understood what your lyrics meant but I still enjoyed it "joo-won said

"thank you your highness " I said remembering yesterday's conversation.

and he just laughed like a cute snowball my favourite cartoon.

"um Meera if you don't mind...would you like to....join..us..for dinner maybe?" he asked scratching his neck at back.

"ok..." I said

"look it's fine if you don't....what? ok,means you are coming with me"he asked excitedly.

"she is coming with us..and not only her,all the members of rockstars are coming with us." SEO -joon said emphasising 'us' and 'all the members ' .

and I just laughed there.

"ok K.thx. ready ?" do-woon asked.

"yes.." they all said in a unison.

"best of luck " I said smiling towards joo-won.

he nodded his head in response and copied him to tease him.

at the restaurant

"Meera you are a great singer...." joo-won again complimented me.

" ooooh..." haa-joon and other members starting teasing him .

but my team mates were quiet because they knew everything that happened last week

then we ordered our dishes and were chatting for a long time.

and Joo-won is very cute,everything is just awesome I want this moment to stop right here, but I feel like missing something,someone .

now I was back in my hotel room, changing my clothes but I felt as someone was there ,behind the curtains.

I quickly put my clothes on and opened the curtains,and saw a strange figure on the glass.I was so shocked that I fell on the ground.

"aah....." I shouted out of fear.

I gathered some courage and again checked the window, nobody was there then I closed the curtains and went to sleep.

AT NIGHT

"No don't...please.....leave..us please. don't do it...."

"Help someone please help....help me.."

"nobody will hear you sweety so don't shout like that"

"Leave her you jerk...."

"Aniket....."

"Aniket...."

"go meera run .....go away don't think about me go away"(bullet sound)

"Aniket....."

I woke up trembling in fear, I checked the time it was 4AM . I sat on the bed hugging my knees and hiding my face through it.

Then I heard some Loud bang on my door,

I was too scared to get up from there ,but I gathered some courage and went near the door and took a vase in my hand,then I opened the door slightly.

But nobody was there then I went out of my room and saw the same guy that I saw getting shot in my dream he was standing in the dark corridor wearing a hoodie and lowering his head not seeing up anyhow. and then raised his hand as if he was calling me.

"w..who ah..are you?"I asked standing at my door .

he didn't said anything just signalled me through his hands, as if he was asking me to go there.

"w..were you the one who knocked on my door,do you want something?" I asked him

he still didn't look up or even said a word

"who the hell are you fucking answer me" I yelled loudly.

then I again heard a bullet sound and then his body just collapsed there.

"aaah.....aah " I put my hands on my eyes and started screaming and crying so loudly that everybody came out of their rooms to check what just happened.

But I was still Hiding my face in my arms and crying then Ron came and hugged.

"what happened meera are you alright...."

"meera meera look at me meera,...every thing is fine"ron said even joo-won was there .

then I just fainted in Ron's arms.

when I woke up next morning I saw veronica sleeping next to me and Emily was sleeping on the couch, I got up and washed up myself,but I was still thinking about yesterday's incident, like who was that man?,"I haven't even seen him in my whole life", as I remember that day it was just me and that black hoodie person ,that were there in my house, and I hit him with a table lamp and locked myself in the bedroom,nobody saved me and nobody was shot then who the hell was that man that I saw yesterday in the corridor and why does he keeps appearing in my dreams . I was lost in my thoughts when someone knocked on my washroom door.

"meera are you in there?" veronica asked me.

"yes " I replied

"ok I am out here,in the room don't worry alright "she said sweetly.

"yeah I know" I said closing the tap
