In this competition for survival, securing a base is incredibly important.

On top of that, there are issues like sleep, food, and water, all caused by environmental factors, making it difficult to safely last the three days and two nights.

With Rozen's abilities, he could detect any approaching enemy in an instant and repel them, but if possible, he'd prefer to sleep soundly through the night, resting comfortably, rather than having to wake up in the middle of the night to deal with enemies.

After defeating the team representing Falcion, Rozen led the members of the S128 Special Forces and successfully found a cave before nightfall.

The cave was not only well-hidden and remote but also didn't have any unpleasant smells, and the airflow was good. As long as they laid some leaves on the ground, they should be able to sleep soundly.

With that in mind, Rozen immediately decided to make this cave their base.

Of course, the cave had its flaws.

For instance, it was far from any rivers, making it difficult to access water, and finding food would be challenging. Furthermore, if the enemy discovered them, a distant artillery strike could blow the cave apart. Even if they didn't die from the attack, they'd likely be buried alive.

Finally, Rozen tossed out several protective talismans, which flew in all directions, sticking to the walls or trees. They lit up and formed a concealed barrier, thoroughly protecting the area around the cave.

With that, the issues of water, food, and distant artillery were all solved.

But Rozen wasn't satisfied yet.

"Beast Summon!"

Rozen pressed his hand down, channeling his magic, and a magic circle spun into existence around them.

From the circle, a few mountain chickens, deer, rabbits, and even boars appeared. Although the number was small, properly prepared, they could significantly improve the meals for the next few days.

Then, Rozen used his Telekinesis to manipulate the surrounding trees, sending countless leaves flying into the cave, forming soft beds. He also used an Earth Talisman to flatten the uneven ground, transforming the cave into an incredibly comfortable living space within minutes.

"Now this is the standard."

After finishing all of this, Rozen clapped his hands in satisfaction.

However, his actions left his teammates dumbfounded.

"This...this..."

Yuri was utterly speechless.

"He...can even do this?"

Mina was equally stunned.

Even Kanata and Chloe, who had known Rozen since childhood, were filled with amazement.

"...I think I finally understand how Rozen built that beautiful log cabin in the forest of Rune."

"...I also get why he didn't starve to death even as an orphan before meeting us."

Chloe and Kanata were at a loss for words.

Who wouldn't be?

Mina felt as if her past rivalry with Rozen was nothing more than a joke.

Kanata and Chloe began focusing on that, even planning to frisk Rozen for the talismans.

"Alright, alright, if you want them, I'll give each of you a stack later."

Rozen quickly dodged them, grumbling as he made the promise.

After all, Spiritual Power(Reiki) and Jutsuryoku were essentially the same thing. Even if they couldn't use magic spells, they could still activate the talismans with their mana. Otherwise, Rozen wouldn't have left special healing talismans at Chaldea for Mash to use.

With that in mind, giving his teammates completed talismans as disposable tools didn't seem like a bad idea.
