Synopsis

In a dimly lit cave, a young man stirs and stands up. He looks out from the small grotto into a wider, dark and seemingly forlorn cavern. In the distance, he hears...bones rattling? Samuel Howard looks around dazedly, until he spots a very old, faded sign. He manages to read 'Welcome to the Lonely Lava Cavern' before cursing furiously at this twist of fate. "When I said I wanted to reincarnate into Minecraft, I didn't mean it like this!"

Chapter 1How Could This Happen!?

'HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!?' Sam wailed in his heart. He looked at the sign in disbelief, unwilling to believe that he had been placed in a hellish cavern full of monsters hungry for his flesh. He had been walking home early in the morning from work when he suddenly found himself falling forward and losing consciousness. Next thing he knew, he woke up here in this dimly lit cave.

He had played a lot of Minecraft in his life, and had heard about the Kaizo Caverns as it is one of the more famous challenge maps. He never played it though, because he had enough stress in his life from working construction at night. Who knew he would end up reincarnated here when he made his request to that so called God of Reincarnation?

Frustrated, he kicked a large rock near him sending it flying into the wall in front of him, making a loud ruckus as it bounced off then on the stone floor, coming to a stop near the entrance of the small cave he was in. He looked towards the cave entrance, seeing that it leads further out into the cavern.

"GraOouh..." Shuffling came from near the cave entrance

He stopped, becoming tense as his rage began to be replaced by fear. He recalls where he is as he looks around desperately for a weapon. He spots a chest in the corner near the entrance. Sam runs up to it praying there is something sharp and pointy inside. He pushes the chests lid up then thrusts his hand inside it. He feels himself grip a cylindrical wooden object, as he feels a wave of relief wash over him at the thought that he isn't defenseless anymore.

He pulls it out of the box, as the smile that had begun to creep onto his face freezes. The cylindrical wooden object is not a mace like he thought, but a mighty...Signboard. He digs frantically in the chest to discover the rest of the chest is filled with a dozen same size leather pants. He hears shuffling coming from the entrance, closer this time, as he turns around to look. A vaguely humanoid silhouette comes into view at the entrance. Samuel looks at the signboard in his hand, as he numbly recounts to himself, "So this is how I die."

*Ding*

[Detected lack of will and intent to submit to fate from the host. System Activated in advance, Stats being Generated]

Sam's heart that had become numb from all the emotional ups and downs rises once again like a phoenix from the ashes. "Halleluiah! Open the newbie package and give me the Heaven Swallowing Sutra, the Immortal Sky Cleaving Blade and the Chaotic Fiendcelestial physique!"

[Noob Package opening. . .]

{You Get: Bread x 3 (White), Bottled Water x6 (White), Bandage x12, Apology Letter (White)}

Sam started frothing at the mouth, about to curse the system's mother and its black heart. The humanoid silhouette wouldn't give him the time though to do so. With a guttural cry, it rushed forward towards him. Sam raised the sign in his hand instinctively, as he saw its true appearance. It was a rotten, fetid cadaver wearing yellowish rags and its body so thin you could see its ribcage(In some places literally!). It slashed its shriveled, decaying arm at Sam as he swung his sign in turn. Sam closed his eyes in fear.

By some miracle he felt the sign thwack the Undead hard. He heard the Undead give an unwilling roar, as something crashed onto the ground. It sounded almost like when you throw a defrosted meat patty on a grill. He opened his eyes in utter surprise to see the Undead had been thrown back about four feet, and was now near the ledge in front of the small grotto. He saw the dim light of Magma coming from below and illuminating the undead a bit.

Sam knew he couldn't let this opportunity go or he would be dead for real this time. He rushed forward, slamming the sign across the zombie's head planning to stun it then push it into the Magma. There was a small gush of wind as the Sign struck the zombie, and he saw it go flying a few feet in the air before crashing down into the Magma below. He stared at the sign in his hand, flabbergasted. "Am I really that powerful?" He wondered aloud.

[System: The sign is enchanted with Knockback II, Host. Please do not have any extravagant ideas.]

Sam's face instantly darkened, as he heard the black hearted system speak. "I don't need to hear that from a poor ghost of a system like you! Which bastard programmed you to hand out a few loaves of bread when it's host is about to be gnawed on like a deer bone? Show me my status."

[System: As you wish, Host.]

The Synthesis Wizard

In a world where elements lay barren and powerful wizards had abandoned their homeland a millennium ago to explore the multiverse, Sunan found himself reincarnated as a noble scion stripped of his title. This world, once brimming with magic and wonder, had fallen into a desolate state, and wizards had become mere legends. Sunan was acutely aware that after a thousand years, the elements would awaken once more, heralding the return of the wizards and ushering in a new era of prosperity. He understood that his path was clear: he must train diligently to become a wizard himself and survive until this glorious age arrived. “Resources are scarce?” he mused, determination flickering in his eyes. “Then I’ll just have to synthesize them myself.” With that thought, he activated the Synthesis Cube, a device that granted him the ability to combine materials into something new. This Cube was not just a tool; it was a symbol of his potential in this world, reflecting his status as a player in a game he once played. As he set to work, the Cube glowed with possibilities, presenting him with a myriad of options. He had a few basic materials at his disposal, remnants of his previous life and the knowledge he had accumulated from his past experiences in the game. Sunan began experimenting, combining herbs and minerals he had gathered. Each successful synthesis filled him with a sense of accomplishment, inching him closer to his goal of becoming a wizard. Days turned into weeks, and Sunan’s skills improved rapidly. He crafted potions, improved his understanding of magical theories, and honed his mental abilities through intense meditation practices. The Star Ring Meditation, one of the first techniques he mastered, allowed him to tap into the latent mental energy within himself, enhancing his cognitive functions and magical sensitivity. As he progressed, whispers of his endeavors began to circulate among the remaining noble families and the common folk. Some viewed him with suspicion, while others saw potential in the young man who dared to challenge the status quo. Sunan knew he needed allies. He began seeking out individuals who shared his vision—a return to the age of wizards. He discreetly approached the remnants of the nobility, the few who still held some influence, and began to forge connections. His reputation grew cautiously, and with it, the opportunities to gather resources and knowledge. He learned of hidden libraries, ancient texts, and artifacts that could aid in his quest. One fateful day, while exploring a forgotten ruin, he uncovered an ancient tome detailing the rituals of the wizards who had once thrived on this land. The pages contained knowledge that could accelerate his growth, including spells long lost to time. “This is it,” Sunan thought as he carefully transcribed the contents into his own notes. “With this, I can not only learn the spells but also improve my synthesis techniques.” As he delved deeper into the arcane arts, he realized that the key to his ascension lay not just in personal power but in understanding the intricate web of alliances and rivalries that defined noble society. He had to navigate these treacherous waters carefully. In the back of his mind, Sunan always remembered the impending return of the wizards. The time was coming when he would have to reveal his true potential and lead the charge into the new era. With each passing day, he grew stronger, more confident, and increasingly aware of the responsibilities that awaited him. The world was changing, and Sunan was determined to be at the forefront of that change—a wizard in a world that had forgotten what it meant to wield true power.

Genshin Impact: This Trainee Fatui Harbinger is Too Unreliable

After his soul transmigrated into the world of Teyvat, Luo Qing was selected to become the new Trainee Fatui Harbinger, and he was about to be sent to Liyue on a diplomatic mission (to cause chaos). To his surprise, he awakened a “Frustration Value Collection System” — as long as he frustrated others, he could collect frustration points, which he could use to participate in a lottery. As he stared at the list of items in the lottery interface, Luo Qing fell deep in thought: “Spirit Speech: Time Zero,” “Multi-Shadow Clone Technique,” “Thunder Breathing Style,” “Golden Experience Requiem,” “Railgun,” “Gomu Gomu no Mi...” Why on earth were these things appearing in the world of Teyvat?! Given the notorious reputation of a Harbinger, Luo Qing knew that if he didn’t grow strong, he was certainly doomed to a miserable end. Thus, his style became... increasingly abstract... --- Years later, to prevent the infamous Fatui Harbinger, Luo Qing, from causing havoc everywhere, the people and political leaders of the Seven Nations united to issue a formal protest to Snezhnaya. In response, the Fatui in Snezhnaya issued an official statement: “This Harbinger is only a trainee. He has been dismissed.” --- Updates: Mon-Sat To Unlock Bonus Chapters: Reach 30/40/50/100/200/400 Power Stones! 6 Extra Chapters! Reach 800 Power Stones to activate NP! Resets Weekly!
