Chapter 21: SAMPLE TESTING

Can I come in, I heard Julius knocking at my door 

Yes please 

P just call me, he's done analysing the object found in your pocket 

He said it a voice recorder 

Voice recorder? I said with my hand on my chin, so what this means is that someone deliberately put that in pocket to listen to my conversation. 

Call P to come back, his break is over , I want to know who dare to this in 24 hrs and why 

Alright, I will inform him now and your Dad wants to see you, he's downstairs

Alright, I also want to see him anyways, I said going downstairs following Julius out of my study room.

Eric, how did Bernard find out you work at the hospital 

And what's wrong with working in the hospital 

That's not the bone of contention, he called to dissolve the project

Yes mom, I manage to make sure that Mina won't be marrying the Daniels and also there's no way Dad will allow her to marry Eric due to his profession and there's no other  family as influential as the Daniels so I will always be on top

That's right, either ways they can't be together and even if they manage to, there's no cause for alarm, I heard Eric is so passionate about his profession than the family business

He will hear from his team, I don't need to tell him myself, she reply nonchalantly 

Wait wait, Mee what's going on here, did you two have a fight, am having a bad feeling about this, I hope this relationship won't be a bitter sweet one, I mean you just agree to date eachother and you are already at loggerheads 

We are not fighting

Why, it does matter, are you going to marry someone who you don't understand, I know it an arrange marriage but then am happy that you guys have feelings for eachother and it going to turn out well, but this, am not sure anymore

Mina cover her ears from Evelyn's screaming her throat out 

This is madness, why, what happened 

First of all, she's not marrying Eric but his brother Richard 

And secondly, his parents somehow find out I might have cancer after I discuss it with Eric at the lunch date and so they don't want me to marry their son 

Wait, do you mean to say Eric told his parents and if that's the case,  Elizabeth should marry Eric then,  why his brother 

Because my Dad found out Eric is a doctor and does not have the intention of taking over the company 

Now I get the whole thing, she said nodding her head up and down

Mina this is work, let's not mix it with our personal stuff, am here so we can check the sample together

The whole office became silent with Eric and Mina exchanging awkward glances 

Hmm, Evelyn clears her throat, why don't we go check the sample, she said motioning them out of the office . 

So, the five main functions of the robot is tutoring, running errands, keeping company, saving data, and games, Eric ask the leader of the building team

Yes sir, under the tutoring it will be base on age of the user and the running of errands will be age independent, keeping of company will also deal with age, saving data has nothing to do with age and obviously gaming will be age dependent, he explained 

Good so how many sample do we have now, Mina ask 

We have four samples with three modes each, 0-5 years of age, 5-10 yrs, 10-15 and 15-20 years of age, with easy, medium and difficult mode 

Okay very good, let's see them working 

Okay ma 

After about an hour the robot testing is done, so when can we have our first batch and how many are we looking at, Eric ask 

We are hoping to have about a thousand in a month and half, though they can hit the market as they are coming out in batches not necessarily until the whole thousand is complete since we are done with testing, I believe there won't be any issue, the team leader reply 

Can't we make it  a month, Mina ask 

We can do that ma, but we will need more workers 

That not a problem if you need more workers please go ahead and employ more people 

Okay ma, so a thousand in a month 

Yes 

Good, welldone guys, Eric said applauding them 

Thank you sir, they all chorus 

Mom, do you like this colour, Elizabeth ask her mother holding up a sapphire blue earrings 

Wow, this is pretty, yes yes I want that and that too, she reply pointing to various pieces of jewelries 

Please pack them , Elizabeth said facing the shop attendant

Lizzy your phone is ringing 

Thanks mom, she said picking up the call

The building team are recruiting more workers and according to our plan, I have succeeded in putting five of my people there

She put her phone back in her bag, mom let go grab lunch am in a very very good mood, things will soon fall in place .
