Kaigen had an idea about how he gains rolls. The most important part was communicating with people and places that followed the events of My Hero Academia.
He had arrived at this conclusion after going to the beach and seeing Izuku and All Might. He had gotten a lot of rolls that day, considering he didn't get a single one after almost two weeks.
To confirm this suspicion he planned to visit, Aldera, U.A, and visit any of the pro heroes around.
Which wasn't hard, as they were a weird combination of celebrities and public servants, they generally had some meet and greets or did very public patrols.
Kaigen at first questioned the logic behind these 'announced patrols' It's telling the criminals that you will be at this place at this hour.
But Kaigen guessed that it had the same deterrent of a well-lit street with many cameras around.
Besides, after a bit of digging around, even most heroes did a fair share of 'unannounced patrols', generally coordinated with other heroes in the area to catch criminals and villains in the act, by balancing the announced and announced patrols.
Surprisingly, there were a lot of mind games around heroes and villains.
Kaigen shook his head and focused, he was quite close to Aldera, but first, he had to make sure he had no rolls available. It might throw off his conclusion if that's the case.
[You have a new Tier 0 roll available!]
To his surprise, there was one. This was puzzling to him, this wasn't the first time he trained with Tetsu, so why was it triggering a roll now? He didn't have much time to ponder it as the bus arrived at his stop.
After a quick walk, he arrived at Aldera Junior High, It wasn't anything special, maybe it was a bit more run-down than his own. There seemed to be some movement inside but more students were gone, even those in clubs.
Kaigen immediately checked again.
[You have a new Tier 0 roll available!]
To his delight, he had another role available. A grin spread across his face, he eagerly went back to the bus stop. Another bus arrived in almost three minutes.
Kaigen quickly got in. It was almost ten minutes later when he checked his app that he realized he was going in the wrong direction. His cheeks burned as he quickly left the bus at the nearest stop.

Kaigen checked nearby to meet and greet and surprisingly he found one of Death Arms. Which wasn't too far from U.A.
The meet and greet was at his office, though calling it an office was far from describing it. It was just an old-school gym.
At the entrance was a gift shop with different kinds of merchandise from protein shakes to special plates with his brand of 'Death Arms' and his yellow and black color scheme.
There was a line of two people wanting to sign their shirts or workout equipment. He didn't know if this was because he was unpopular or because his meet and greet was ending.
Kaigen simply joined the line and took out a notebook.
His first thought as he looked at the man was that his name was ridiculous. Which he obviously wouldn't say to a man who was a head taller than him and seemed to be on steroids.
Kaigen was just unimpressed, it was just like a bodybuilder doing cosplay. Though it was unfair to judge him like this when he didn't see him in action.
Kaigen checked his rolls and there were none yet.
When it was Kaigen's turn, he simply passed his notebook and said, "Can you sign it? Make it to Kaigen, prospective hero."
The man mechanically signed up, "You're here to see U.A, right? A lot of kids your age are coming to this city to see it."
Kaigen nodded. The man continued, "Don't be too hung up on that school. It's fine if you don't make it in there. It isn't the end all, be all of the hero academies. I didn't go there and I turned out fine!"
The man seemed to be more talking to himself than to Kaigen. He simply nodded mechanically and left once his rant was over. As Kaigen left, he heard the man say, "I scared him off."
Kaigen sighed, the man was still trying to be nice, though he should've done it another way, those words weren't that encouraging.
He yelled into the building, "You didn't!"
After that, he checked his rolls.
[You have a new Tier 0 roll available!]
Kaigen smiled. Just two to go. Kaigen then headed to U.A.
It didn't take long to arrive. It was one thing to see it in photographs or video, but seeing the bus keep going and going, and the wall of the school keeping up took home how big this school was.
He checked his rolls.
[You have a new Skill roll available!]
A part of him wished it was a Tier 0 roll, but that was foolish, Skill rolls were much more valuable than Tier 0 rolls.
They could give years or decades worth of experience in terms of a skill and they were always available.
It was just impatience talking, he now had an understanding of how to get more rolls and they weren't hard to get, though they probably were a limited resource.
They're only so many characters and places.
Kaigen didn't get off the bus and simply decided to head home. The bus simply kept going and Kaigen decided to simply roll right away.

Kaigen skimmed over the Skill description, a flicker of disappointment crossing his face. Culinary? Really? While it wasn't useless, it didn't seem particularly powerful or combat-oriented.
At first glance, it seemed like a minor perk, a quality-of-life improvement.
But then he paused. Food was essential. A good meal could nourish the body and soul. Maybe this skill could be more than just a gimmick. Perhaps it could be used to forge connections, to bring people together. After all, food was often the heart of social gatherings and celebrations.
He decided to look on the bright side. Maybe this skill could be a hidden gem, a tool to be used in unexpected ways. He'd explore its potential, and who knows, it might surprise him.
Kaigen explored his knowledge as he made his way home. He had told Mizuki he was touring Mustafu so she wasn't worried. He had even shared his location as he toured.
Kaigen then for the first time since he arrived at this world used the subway station. He didn't use it simply because he was more used to bus rides in his previous life. Needless to say, he went the wrong way.

It was almost 8:30 when he arrived home. Kaigen called out as he entered, "I'm home!"
Two voices responded, "Welcome home!"
When Kaigen enters the living room, Mizuki is sitting backward on an armchair arms draped over the back of it.
Mizuki snickers when she sees him, "I'm glad you managed to get home with no complications whatsoever."
Kaigen replied with a blank face, "Me too."
Sakura lifting the couch with one hand, and cleaning the floor with the other said, "It would've been such a shame if you were to get lost."
Kaigen nodded as he left his backpack in a closet, "Yeah, I'm sure glad nothing happened."
Kaigen went into the kitchen as he heard both of the women snicker at his back.
"Just how hard is it to follow the green line?"
Should he follow the green line or just get on the train with the number? Too much signage made it complicated. He decided to ignore them, he wasn't winning this one.
Sakura laughed as if she was afraid the neighbors weren't hearing her.
Kaigen checked for snacks, and they were all gone. He sighed and checked the refrigerator, and saw two-day-old rice and a box of eggs. Maybe it was time to use his new skill?
Mizuki seeing him taking out ingredients called out to him, "Kaigen don't bother, we're getting takeout."
Kaigen replied, "Today I encountered a ghost. He talked a lot about food being raw and beef wellingtons."
Kaigen started cooking, he decided to make simple egg-fried rice.
Sakura with her brown skin, pinkish hair, and her frame seemed to be sculpted by countless hours at the gym. Right now she looked at Kaigen with wide, innocent eyes, "Really?"
Mizuki rolled her eyes, already having caught on, but seemed to enjoy Sakura's reaction. The food seemed to take shape and a slight fragrance started to fill the house.
Kaigen nodded, "Yes. He declared me his successor and in just one afternoon he taught me everything he knew. It was a special quirk, passing generation to generation, making the best chefs."
Mizuki's eyes were staring right in the wok, he was cooking in. Sakura was almost drooling, "You're amazing Kaigen!"
Kaigen kept cooking, "I know rig-"
Mizuki cut off his response, "Don't listen to his nonsense, that's just his quirk manifesting in a different way. Some kind of flavor enhancer or alteration?"
Kaigen pouted and said, "A chef doesn't reveal his tricks."
Mizuki retorted, "That's magicians."
Sakura said just as food was served, "I like the ghost story better."
They gathered around the table and started eating. The egg-fried rice was a masterpiece. Each grain of rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy, and separate. The scrambled egg was golden brown, soft, and creamy, with just the right amount of seasoning. The vegetables were crisp-tender, adding a delightful crunch to every bite.
Before they knew it, everyone stared at their empty plates.
Sakura looked at him pitifully, "Kaigen, that wasn't enough."
Mizuki joined in, "Yeah. Use your teacher's ghost skills to make some more."
Kaigen rolled his eyes, "Fine, fine. Don't look at me like that, I wanted more too."
Kaigen stared at the barren kitchen cabinet. He called out, "There's no food left."
Sakura replied, "I believe in you!"
He rolled his eyes, "Believe in me in what? To spontaneously create food? You know what they say, even the cleverest student can't cook without rice."
Mizuki groaned in her armchair, "That's housewives."
Kaigen replied, "I'm cooking and I'm a student. What do housewives have to do with anything?"
Mizuki was about to reply, but Sakura cut her off, "Mizuki, priorities first. Food."
Mizuki lazily said, "Fine, lets go to a konbini."
Kaigen with nothing else to do, joined behind them. Sakura charged forward with Mizuki helplessly going behind her, sometimes sneakily using her quirk, Flow. Letting her skate across the sidewalk.
Kaigen just jogged behind them. His Olympic physique made it effortless.
Just as they rounded a corner he saw at the other end of the street, a blonde boy with an explosive haircut. A fat kid with wings and a skinny one with thin weird fingers. In the middle of the street was the konbini, its neon lights brightening the environment.
Kaigen's eyes brightened at the sight of them, while Sakura's brightened at the sight of the Konbini. They both bolted ahead of Mizuki. Sakura entered the store, while Kaigen stood outside and yelled towards Bakugo.
"Hey, explody-gang...I don't like you!" He didn't have anything better to say.
There was an explosion at the end of the street where Bakugo and his gang disappeared, but they didn't walk back. He immediately checked his rolls and he almost pumped his fist.
[You have (x2) Tier 0 rolls available!]
Kaigen was snapped out of it by Mizuki, "That's the best you got? No, never mind that. Should I be worried? Are they from your school?"
Kaigen felt that he might've set off another explosive with the worried look that Mizuki was giving him.
He quickly explained, "No, no, they aren't from my school, they are from Aldera. I just saw them intimidating some kids when I was making my way to school."
Mizuki sighed in relief. Then something caught her eye and entered the Konbini. Kaigen caught Sakura's eye, she had an expression that promised a serious conversation in the future.
Kaigen a bit helplessly, nodded at her. Both Sakura and Mizuki started buying some things for him to cook.
Kaigen stayed outside and used his first Tier 1 roll.

This was an amazing power, he didn't hesitate and accepted it right away. This power was amazing, it was just that its previous user was too dumb to use it correctly. Right as he did another notification came through.

A/N: Any ideas on how this power should be used?
The roles were restricted to those in the story that I remembered. The list was over 100. This was mostly because so it felt more like it takes more elements from Worm.
The rolls were: Eligos (Air Slices) that boomerang back to the user and Big Rig, a tinker specialized in buildings, which due to various reasons, I'm not keen on taking.
