Chapter 37 Brawl and the Lizard

Tom used the hardening quirk as clanking sounds were produced due to the skin on his body hardening.

Peter looked back slightly, surprised by the noise,

"Sorry," Tom apologized as he knew that any distraction could prove to be dangerous.

The sound of a lizard's roar rang out soon enough as the shadow of a giant lizard ran towards them, Tom immediately raised his hands, ready to fight.

He knew from experience that his body binding charm wasn't strong enough to contend against supervillains so he refrained from using it.

Though the protego charm was another matter as it had a hugger durability, but Tom didn't plan on using this as he had another card up his sleeve.

Ever since he got the marine arts known as Rokushiki, he has been banging his head to come up with ways to use it as his body is not strong enough to use any of the techniques.

Though there is one art that's right up his ally,

"SPIDERMAN," suddenly Tom was brought out of his thoughts as he saw a giant manhole cover flying towards Peter at incredible speeds, though Peter flipped mid air and easily dodged the attack.

Just as he did that, a tail was swung his way, sending him crashing back as the giant lizard emerged from the darkness.

It was hard for both of them to see as the sewers were relatively dark, Just as Connors was about to do a follow up claw attack.

Tom barged in between, the claw came at Tom as it scrapped sharply against his arms which were placed in an X shape.

The Lizard grew surprised as he saw his attack chip off some rocky substance off of Tom, though the skin beneath only had slight red marks.

This was Tom's trump card today, he had been successful in learning Tekkai, style of Rolushiki in which the user hardens his muscle to the level of iron, this can also be used to enhance the user's attack power because of the increased density of the muscles.

"Take this!" Tom shouted as he punched out,

The lizard scorned as he tried to grab the punch coming his way, but rather than the hand easily falling his grip like with Spiderman, The lizard felt like gravity had lost its effect on him as he was sent flying back.

Tom heaved a sigh of relief as Peter came by his side.

"That was awesome," Peter yelled as he saw the Lizard growling in confusion as flashes of light struck him.

The lizard glared angrily at the flash and stretched his hands upward, before Peter could react, the camera he had set up was destroyed.

"Oh no! That's gonna cost a lot to replace," Peter muttered in sadness as Lizardman crushed the camera, smiling wickedly at them.

"Don't you get it spider! I a trying to recreate the world, a world without weakness, a world without disease."

"Yeah, I don't wanna live in a world where your ugly mug is going to greet me every day," Peter quipped as he shot a web at Lizard's face and yanked it back, only for the Lizard to grab the webs and do the same to Peter.

Peter was pushed off his feet as he dodged the claw attack and mounted on Lizard's back, Tom followed up with a series of attacks from the front as his arms had already generated another hard layer over them.

"Gahh!"

The lizard growled in pain as he tried to pull Peter off his back, but Peter was one slippery bastard as he kept jumping around, not giving Lizardman enough time as Tom kept delivering one punch after the other.

Lizard man tried to use his tail, but Peter saw it coming from miles away as he webbed it up against the lizard's back while Tom did an uppercut that finally sent the lizard flying.

Just as the two had thought the fight was over, The lizard issued a loud roar, Peter suddenly turned around and dodged a pipe that came flying his way.

Tom also turned around and blocked an attack.

"Huh!"

"There is more than one," both Peter and Tom were surprised by this, especially tom who had known the plot.

"Surely the plot is changing," Tom muttered as he ducked from a clawswipe, kicking the smaller lizard's legs and causing him to fall, Peter punched his face knocking him out.

"These seem to be weaker than the previous one."

"Yeah! I noticed that," Peter replied as he smacked one of the Lizards and sent it flying.

It took them some time before all the Lizards were defeated, though the most surprising thing happened next as The lizards began turning into humans.

"Huh!"

Peter issued a surprised gasp as he stepped away from a naked woman.

Tom looked around when he noticed something,

"Spiderman," Tom called out.

"What!"

"The lizard has escaped,"

Peter turned around to notice that his webbings had been ripped apart.

"Oh shit,"
