Magical Times are Changing

Floating around, that's the main thing I do around the Hogwarts school. And of course, helping the students here and there. Not many of the people even know who I was when I was alive.

Annabel Darkness, I was one of the first students in Hogwarts, I was even best friends with Merlin! We were the top wizard and witch of our time. We even were stronger than all the professors!

Together we took the magical world by storm. After graduating, I returned as a teacher and taught Defense Against the Dark Arts. I was undefeated even unto my death.

I peaceful died in my sleep and my ghost just roamed around the school.

For thousands of years, I stayed in my ghost form. I was there for all of Harry Potter's stay and even a bit after.

Then one day I felt like it was finally time for me to move on the afterlife. And so I did, or so I thought. As I closed my none exist eyes for the last time, I feel at peace.

Then I heard someone calling to me, I look and see I'm in a gorgeous garden. A girl is looking at me with concern.

"Huh, is this the afterlife," I ask, looking around.

"Well, kind of. Hi, my name's Ar-on, a lesser god assigned to help you," she explains. "Because of all the good Karma you did in your life and afterward the higher-ups wanted to offer you another chance at life. Reincarnation to be exact, we will give you the best of everything! In magic and everything else. And you also get three wishes as well."

"Wait seriously, wonderful, uh well let me think of what I would like," I reply deep in thought. "Hm, well, would it be possible to have a mini pocket dimension to store items and be able to put in and out things using thought."

"Yup! Granted," she smiles.

"Okay, then can I also have a magic sense, you know, so that I can know if anything or anyone is around me," I ask, smiling, she just nods. "Great! For my final wish can I have an animagus, I don't really have a preference so you can just choose whatever you want, I just don't want it to be weak."

"Okay, done, oh and you get a familiar, do you care what it is or can I choose," Ar-on asks.

"You can choose, but like my animagus, I don't want it to be weak," I respond.

"Okay then, well it's time to go, good luck in your new life!" she grins waving as I blackout.
