Assembly of the Best

"An aircraft carrier in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Slowly, one by one, helicopters and planes are bringing very important guests.

Ten First-Class Sorcerers are arriving. From sky, sea, air, all for one very important day.

For a meeting every once a generation. A meeting of all the greats, all the strongest, all the best.

The Magic Force Leaders Assembly.

---

Two First-Class Captain Sorcerer stood on the deck of the ship, looking out over the flat sea, and puffy clouds.

"It seems were the first to arrive, Red." (First-Class Captain Sorcererer, Captain of the European Division 1, Mato)

He wore the usual white uniform, with the usual black flower pin attached to the left side of his chest. He also wore a long necktie that raced down to his waist, with his bright blonde hair waxed against the back of his head.

He turned to the First-Class Captain Sorcerer standing next to him.

"It does seem we're the first to arrive. I was gonna wait for that asshole Colt. But he doesn't usually show up to these things... So should we just go inside?" (First-Class Captain Sorcerer, Captain of the European Division 2, Red)

"Yeah, no reason to wait." (Mato)

They entered the massive aircraft carrier.

---

Five minutes later another helicopter landed on the mostly empty deck.

His man in golden high knee boots and bright titanium pants walked out. He had his white jacket strapped to the back of his neck, like a cape in the sea wind. His long golden brown hair flowing down his neck, with his black flower pin attached to his belt. He opened his arms wide to the fresh ocean air.

(He also has an Australian accent.)

"Finally! I hate flying! Makes me feel like barfing." (First-Class Captain Sorcerer, Captain of the Oceania Division, Thomas Thimble)

He walked across the empty runway, strutting back and forth with his golden boots shining in the bright sunny sunlight.

His Second-Class Lieutenant stepped out from the helicopter.

"Captain, are you sure we shouldn't escort you? We've heard the rumors. The last meeting ended in a-" (Second-Class Lieutenant Sorcerer, Squad Thomas, Leo Churner)

"No no. Don't worry. Go back to HQ. It's only for us big boys. Little old Second-Classers ain't allowed... Sorry sorry, it's the big man Captain Sorcerer's words, not mine." (Thomas)

She entered back into the helicopter.

"Oh and don't forget to pick me-" (Thomas)

He watched as the helicopter disappeared into the distance.

"They left..." (Thomas)

Thomas looked across the empty carrier. He looked at the empty jets, the rundown planes, and helicopters. He walked toward the small door leading in.

Suddenly a rush of air blew past him.

Thump!

A big thump echoed behind him.

He turned around to see a tall man in all white, with all white hair that faded at the tips. He looked at this man's hands, his praying hands, like priest praying to god.

"Yo, Thomas, been a while." (First-Class Sorcerer, Second in Command of the Special Magic Squad, Colt)

Colt walked over waving at Thomas with a big smile on his face.

"Oh, it's you..." (Thomas)

He turned around.

"Bugger off. Yah cunt!" (Thomas)

He strutted away in his titanium pants. Colt followed with his hands in his plain white pants pockets.

"Hey hey, we're good friends. Remember that time we killed that A-Class Monster together?" (Colt)

"Uhhhghghghg, mate you really always are ruining the mood on me. You have to fly in, be all nice. You just want to get at me." (Thomas)

Colt followed. Thomas kept strutting away.

"I said stop!" (Thomas)

He kept following. They strutted in circles. Going around and around eachother, like dogs chasing their own tails.

"Hey hey! Stop running from me! I just wanna be friends." (Colt)

"Friends? That word has never been in your vocabulary, Colt." (Thomas)

"Well, when was vocabulary even in your vocabulary, Thomas Thimble." (Colt)

"Hey, I know what vocabulary is. You're the one who's all Solo Monster Killing Badass." (Thomas)

"Hey, I've changed a new leaf. I've joined a squad." (Colt)

"Have you really, mate?" (Thomas)

Colt reflected on his position in the squad. How he leaves all the time and takes on missions alone all the time.

"Ok... Maybe I do work alone a bit. But waaaaiiittttt! That doesn't mean I'm not getting better at it." (Colt)

Suddenly a super-fast jet boomed across the sky. Sending supersonic waves, parting clouds with its wake.

The two First-Class Sorcerers looked up to the sky. They watched as the jet passed them, disappearing off into the distance. They watched as a single dot slowly plummeting toward them.

"What's that?" (Colt)

"Not what. But who." (Thomas)

Thomas looked in closer.

"Oh... Oh no... It's her... I heard she do be doing big entrances nowadays. That newbie." (Thomas)

"Newbie?" (Colt)

"Don't play dumb, mate. You know. The American girl. The sexy one. She got that useless puss of a brother. Always forcing you to take care of him for weeks and weeks. She's just tryin' to see who's the best fit for his worthless talents." (Thomas)

Colt looked up as she got closer and closer.

"Huh but she didn't ask me to take care of her brother?" (Colt)

"Yeah, big surprise bucko. Your known for torturing newbies." (Thomas)

Colt giggled.

"True true. I do like torturing newbies." (Colt)

"You make me sick." (Thomas)

The dot got closer and closer and closer.

"So what's her name?" (Colt)

"It's Marry Park. She got handed the whole U.S of A, and the rest of North America in one big swoop. She's a big fukin deal if I say so. Got a lot a responsibility on those sexy shoulders." (Thomas)

"Is she really that sexy?" (Colt)

Thomas turned annoyed.

"Just, stop asking questions." (Thomas)

Colt squatted forward. He watched as the plummeting dot turned into a full human. A human with bright brown hair, with arms and legs, pulled out in all directions.

As she got closer he could see her white-suited uniform blowing in the raging wind.

Colt turned to Thomas. He ran away.

"Thunder Strike!" (Marry)

Lighting raged across the clear sky. It zipped back and forth turning into a bright beam of yellow and blue. It struck the ship with excessive force, exploding outward into a cloud of dust.

"Oh shit! She died!" (Colt)

"Nope. I'm very much alive. And it's nice to meet you Colt. I've heard a lot about you." (Marry)

She walked out from the cloud of smoke, with her hand held out high.

Colt Shook it with a big bright fake smile. She grinned back, with even more force and fiercness.

She was also stunning, with a beautiful face and beautiful brown eyes. More beautiful than Diana, Ginger, or even Red.

"You made quite the entrance." (Colt)

They stopped shaking hands.

"Thanks for watching. I excel at the extreme and the stunning." (Marry)

She was also very cocky.

"Anyway, I saw that dumb Aussie fool here. Where did he go?" (Marry)

"Oh, he ditched when you landed. Should have seen his face. He was gloating about you or whatever. Then the second you landed he went off running, like a scaredy-cat." (Colt)

She walked toward the open door leading to the inside of the ship.

"Yeah, he should be afraid. You know, I asked him to train my little brother to give him some actual experience. But do you know what he did? He just sat around eating junk food with him for a week. Then my brother came back fat. Fat I tell you! So I made him run laps around the base for two months straight, day in day out." (Marry)

Colt mumbled to himself.

"Damn.. She's crazier than Diana. " (Colt)

---

Half an hour later.

A man in the black uniform stood tall at the head of the table. He had heavy eyeshadow, a soft smirk, and deep brown hair.

He leaned over the table.

"Welcome to the Magic Force Leaders Assembly. You ten have come from across the globe for one reason and one reason only... The world is in danger." (Second-Class Lieutenant Sorcerer, Main Division, Galigus)

Colt leaned back in his chair staring at the other end of the massive round table. Ten white suits. Ten uniforms. Ten First-Class Sorcerers all sat around eachother, facing one another.

Colt watched their glaring eyes, their looks at him, his looks back, back, and forth.

The Second-Class Lieutenant Sorcerer, Galigus sat back down in his seat. He crossed his arms firm and confident in front of ten of the strongest Sorcerers in all the world.

"My name is Galigus. I am the Grand Sorcerers First Lieutenant of the Main Division. I am here to address the certain events that have happened over the past two weeks. I would like to start with information we gathered from the recent X-Class Monster Colt fought. This monster had somehow gained the ability of human speech and was able to communicate back and forth with Colt. And once more, it expressed an attitude and personality, unlike pure mimicry." (Galigus)

None of the First-Class Sorcerers looks impressed.

"Ummmm..." (Galigus)

Yua leaned forward.

"This information has already been given out in my report last week." (Yua)

"Oh... Then I will move onto the new more relevant information... We have uncovered a hidden organization of mask-wearing Rogue Sorcerers. These Sorcerers are a threat to the Magic Force and all of humanity, so we have decided to push their priority to Red Level A." (Galigus)

"Not Black?" (Mato)

"No. We still don't know the full capabilities of this group. But as of yesterday, we have gained information about the whereabouts of one of the Rogue Sorcerers... The Hidden Gem Auction, in Paris, France." (Galigus)

"The illegal one?" (Thomas)

"Yes, the illegal one." (First-Class Captain Sorcerer, Asian Division 3, Bao Xu)

"Not all of the squads and divisions will be participating in full, but every Captain here should at least pitch in some of their best Sorcerers for the raid." (Galigus)

Colt leaned back in his chair.

"Umm... Can I leave now?" (Colt)

"Hey don't be disrespectful, Colt!" (Mato)

All of the First-Class Sorcerer stared at him with annoyance and disrespect.

"Yeah Colt. It's not nice to talk down to our own Sorcerers." (Bao)

"Nah, he can talk down all he wants. Like, shouldn't the Grand Master be saying this stuff instead of this fool?" (First-Class Captain Sorcerer, South American Division, Lucas Luciano)

"Don't call him a fool, he is a strong Second-Class Sorcerer." (Bao)

"So you're basically calling him weak?" (Lucas)

"Lucas, second-Class isn't weak!" (Bao)

Red turned to Marry.

"Hey, do you think the Grand Sorcerer is sick? I haven't heard from him in a while." (Red)

"No, he's probably hiding in his room like usual." (Marry)

"Yeah true. That oldie is a bit of a shut-in." (Red)

Colt looked across the table. He looked straight at Red.

"Hey, Red. I heard from Marry that you wanted to talk to me about something?" (Colt)

She looked up at him with pure annoyance and anger. She looked at all the Sorcerers around her. She then stood up.

"Well I wasn't planning to here, but I might as well." (Red)

She jumped onto her chair, with one foot leaning onto the table.

"I challenge you to a duel! For stealing my new rookie! He was gonna be my second in command and everything!" (Red)

"Ohhhh... Hahaha! You talkin about Jack?! Oh that boy's a piece of work all right. But I'm not giving him back." (Colt)

He smirked.

She jumped onto the table.

"I knew you would say that. But it doesn't matter now. I want a one on one fight. If I win then I get Jack on my squad. And if you win, I'll give you five Black Chance Boxes." (Red)

She jumped off the table.

Colt slowly leaned forward.

"Fine. But I want six boxes, not five. And I want to do it right now, outside." (Colt)

"Deal!" (Red)

"Ahem!" (Galigus)

Galigus stood up slightly pissed off by the constant conversations talking over eachother.

"Please everyone calm down and listen for five more seconds. We don't have much time left, so we must get back on-" (Galigus)

Colt leaned back in his chair with his hands in his pockets.

"Ahem! I have a proposition. We postpone this meeting and have a fighting competition instead!" (Colt)

Everyone started to ignore Galigus.

"I, one hundred percent agree. Let's have it now. On the top of this ship!" (Lucas)

"Hey hey hey, guy's, I'm up first though. I want my fight with Colt." (Red)

"Then I call it second!" (Thomas)

"Same, I want to fight Thomas." (Marry)

Thomas leaned back in fear.

"Nevermind I want thirds!" (Thomas)

"I'm out of this competition." (Yua)

"Same, I think I'm going home." (Mato)

The two mysterious First-Class Sorcerers that hid in the back, not talking slowly stepped away from the scene.

Everyone else started doing their own things, having their own conversations, their own arguments. Slowly Galigus turned from being slightly annoyed to being extremely angry.

Slam!

Everyone turned to Galigus's fist against the hard metal table. They all watched as he formed hand signs and cast magic across the room.

"Purple Rain!" (Galigus)

Slowly purple droplets formed on the ceiling.

"Second-Class, what are you doing?" (Lucas)

"From direct orders of the Grand Sorcerer. I have been told to not let a single person leave this room until my entire speech is over!" (Galigus)

His eyes were dark and black, pitch as night. Everyone could see his determination and loyalty as the purple rain fell onto their faces.

Marry held out her hand. She felt the droplets hitting her skin.

"Hey, Galigus? You're magic isn't making me wet?" (Marry)

All the First-Class Sorcerer were so cocky and strong that they just let Galigus use his magic on them. They just waited as the rain seeped into their skin.

"Huh? I'm starting to feel the effects." (Bao)

"I don't really feel anything?" (Lucas)

Suddenly all the First-Class Sorcerers became still. Their mouths, faces, limbs. They were all unable to move, unable to speak.

Galigus stood proudly. His magic had spread across the room. Every single First-Class Sorcerer had become immobilized and weakened.

"Thank you all for allowing me to use my magic on you. But unlike regular magic, you guys won't be able to break free with pure willpower. My magic enters the skin and restricts all movement entirely. It even works against the Grandmaster-" (Galigus)

Colt stood up from his chair.

"Magic this, magic that. Blah blah blah! Your magic may work on the Grandmaster and these guys, but I am an entity different being." (Colt)

Everyone watched in silence as Colt walked out of the room with his hands in his pockets. They watched as the magical purple rain flowed ontop of him, seeping in, within him, around him, through him, how it was ineffective against him.

"What the fuck..." (Galigus)

---

Five hours later at the Main HQ.

Galigus is standing in front of the Grand Sorcerer with his arms to his side.

"Grand Master sir. The meeting has finished exactly as planned." (Galigus)

The Grand Master lifted his blindfold to his forehead to get a good look at his lieutenent in front of him.

"What are you doing sir." (Galigus)

"Just getting a good look." (Grand Sorcerer)

"But... If you don't mind me asking... But aren't you blind sir?" (Galigus)

"No no... Just getting a good look at you." (Grand Sorcerer)

He sat down staring with his blank blind eyes. The piercing feeling, as if Galigus was being violated by some sort of unknown magical power.

"You seem to be on edge Luitenent Galigus. Did your magic work on them?" (Grand Sorcerer)

"Well at first it did... But... One of them it didn't... It's the one you warned me about... Colt..." (Galigus)

"Oh him..." (Grand Sorcerer)

He slid his white blindfold back over his blind eyes.

"Who is he?! He had such a bad mean attitude, yet... Yet he was so-" (Galigus)

"Strong... I know how it feels. The way he acts around others. That whole facade. It irritates me too. His whole presence in this world irritates me." (Grand Sorcerer)
