"It's a secret. Anyway, I said earlier that we will talk about your mom's past, right Mu Yue?"

"Well then, Xin Xin, you can leave the two of us for a while."

"Why? You promised."

"I never did" Hong Meilin smirked.

"I remember when Xin Xin was a kid, she frequently bullied her brother to the point that her brother avoided her for some years."

"There was also that time when she frequently sneaks and tries to climb me... the me that is the tree. She would then get caught by me but I made sure the height she climbs increase little by little. Haha, then when she almost reached the peak, I stopped her. Since then, she has never gone that far."

"She was so cute at the time that every time she fails, I pinch her cheeks until she recites her wrongdoings pfft- she got so mad she tried to burn down the tree that caused her father to have a heart attack hahaha!"

"And the most memorable would be the time she asked me where your father was. I have the ability to locate anyone so long as they are in my territory which spans from the tree until the border. She had me use that just because... your father decided to play hide and seek with her which will last for a day. The winner gets the other party to do what they want and your mom was the hunter. Unknown to her, your father already left the territory to go back way before she asked me to locate him. I was kind enough to tell her the truth or else she would have spent the rest of the day looking for him."

"Oh and also, your mom was the first to confess her feelings. She did it with so many people around that her father became speechless. Thankfully, those that witnessed it did not spread any rumor. Still, your father accepted and confessed back which made your mom's father invite him to some man-to-man chat."

Mu Yue listened and was surprised that her mom used to be like that. "Then what would mom make father do if she won that hide and seek?"

Hong Meilin glanced at Ruan Xin and the latter had no choice, to tell the truth, or else it might get exaggerated if the former talked about it.

"I... wanted him... to confessed to me... a joke or not... and I'll accept it..."

Mu Yue was amazed but before she can ask more, her mom stood up.

"Mu Yue, quickly prepare yourself. You want to go back right? I won't let you till you pass my tests. I hope that you won't disappoint me and waste all those spiritual fruits and herbs you consumed."

Ruan Xin left the room and Hong Meiling laughed out loud.

"Well, that should be enough of her past. Try to forgive your mom when she acted like that. It kinda is my fault yet it got directed to you but that what makes it fun! I hope you survive, she is probably pissed."

"ughh, would it be training till I can no longer train?"

"Yes, but not entirely. You have been spending your time since birth with humans. We would have to correct some of what you learned from them."

"Are you against my relationship with her?" Mu Yue truly felt that something bad will happen on the amount of bad foreboding she is feeling from what this big sister told her.
