Her First Friend?

"For those that are already registered, please be here two weeks later. At that time, the school teachers will come and pick you up. The next test will happen in the school area, just before you get accepted by the school." The announcement came after the 31st registrant was done testing.

Mu Yue was planning on leaving to look for a restaurant.

"Hey there Mu Yue!" Mu Yue heard a cheerful voice coming from her behind. She looked and found the pink-haired girl smiling and walking towards her.

"What are you going to do next?" Asked the girl in front of Mu Yue.

"I was planning to eat lunch?" Mu Yue was not sure why this girl suddenly approached her, she was prepared to take her sword if the girl was planning on doing something to her.

The girl became happy because of her answer, "Then, can I join you?"

"Why?" Mu Yue doesn't know if the smile on the girl is a facade but she still needs to know why the girl keeps on bothering her.

"I want to become friends with you! Our numbers are beside each other plus we are both girls, this must be fate!" The girl said to Mu Yue. The girl didn't give time for Mu Yue to think as the girl quickly grasp Mu Yue's hand and went to the direction of a restaurant.

Mu Yue remembered what her master told her about this topic, 'Master said that a good friend is a priceless treasure but a fake friend is a deadly poison.'

"Let's go eat together." The girl said as they took a seat.

While waiting for the food, the girl introduced herself. "Hello Mu Yue, My name is Feng Xiao Yan. What do you plan on doing for the next two weeks?"

"I'm planning on cultivating and exploring the city. I might hunt for beasts to sell beast cores for money."

"Mind If I join you? I know the city quite well and I will guide you around the city." The Xiao Yan said to Mu Yue.

"Sure, thank you in advance then." Mu Yue didn't mind a company and thought that having someone who knows the city will make it easier to explore around.

The two finished their meal and went out of the restaurant. Xiao Yan led Mu Yue around the city, going to famous landmarks that one should know during their stay.

"Hey Mu Yue, where do you currently stay at?" Xiao Yan asked.

"I'm planning on staying in Xuan Inn. I thought that we will directly go to the school and didn't expect to wait for two weeks more."

"Then should we share a room? We will then be together and improve our relationship. We can also share the cost of the room so it will cheaper."

Mu Yue thought about it and agreed. She should save money if possible so she has more money when she suddenly needed it.

"Do you accept me as a friend now?" Xiao Yan asked. She really wants to be friends with Mu Yue.

"Secret, let's just say that someone told me about it." Xiao Yan said as the two arrived at Xuan Inn to book for a room.
