CHAPTER VI Fake Residence

The man who had opened the door stared at them for about five seconds.

Karen gulped, he was sweating a little, his feet were still shaking. "Ohhh! Oh, I see." The man said kindly. Karen's first impression changes from a criminal to a good person. Is this what it means don't judge a book by its cover. The thought crossed Karen's mind. "Please come in-please come in." The man said while telling them to come in. Yoko greeted politely, and so did Karen.

"Dude your head." Karen whispered. "Oo-ooh!!" Ruka bowed his head when Karen mentioned that. "Sorry, I'm not used to this." Ruka whispered to Karen. "From the looks of it, it's obvious." Karen scoffed. "What!!" Ruka growled. Their words could be heard, but the man didn't seem offended.

They entered the house of the Hanahata family. The place is like a maze, very confusing. If you play hide and seek here, I think all the players will be lost. Karen glanced at the wooden wall in the hallway where they were walking. Karen could see a variety of flowers from the step to the ordinary through a glass. "We, the Hanahata family, always pride ourselves on our knowledge in medicine." The man said as he led them through the complexities of the place.

"I feel like going crazy." Ruka muttered. The path he walked, as if he had passed before. The feeling made his stomach feel a little queasy.

"Wait!!" Yoko said suddenly. "Uh?" Karen turned. "Hhhummp" Ruka held his mouth. "It's an Illusion!" Yoko sharpened her gaze, she turned her head, "See we've been on the same path for ten minutes." She continued. Karen looked around him. "What???" He himself was confused.

"Hehehe." The man in front of them laughed slowly. That laugh sounded awful. The body of the man in front suddenly turned into something like, "Monster!!" Karen took a step back. "What the hell!!" A root rose from the floor, binding the three of them's feet.

"Dobutsu-teki hon'no - Tigres!" Ruka clenched his fists. His Seisui wrapped his hands together, then, he clawed at the roots beneath his feet. "I'm gonna tear you all to pieces!" He said while clawing at the flower roots that spread like spider webs.

But,

The roots regenerate faster than his attack. "I will eat all of you here!!!" said the Monster in front of them. His face, has no face. His mouth opened all the way to his head.

"Fluffal Trick – Leo!" Karen took out her Lion Doll to resist the Monster's bite. "Chiguchi." Karen said.

The monster with mouths all over its body is called Chiguchi. They used to be in the forest of the Land of Trees. The creatures trick their victims into eating their Seisui.

"What exactly are Monsters doing in the city!!" Ruka said while trying to let go of his two friends. Why are Monsters in the Hanahata residence? Yoko struggled with her thoughts. There is no rational logic, "I can't think why." Yoko muttered in frustration. But the girl remembered something. She took something out of her bag, then threw it at Chiguchi.

The monster opened its mouth and ate the object that Yoko threw. "Hwaahhhhhhhh!!!" Instantly he immediately thrashed where he stood. He ate, "Take it. Technique – Chili Spray!!" Yoko said.

"BHWAHHHH!!" Chiguchi turned to the Children.

But they had already fled. "Damn brats!" He looks very angry. If he had eyes they would probably be red like the chili spray logo he ate.

"Damn crazy monster." Karen muttered. The three of them ran breathlessly into a room. "Well. Karen-kun, Ruka-kun." Yoko called the two of them. "Hmm." Karen and Ruka nodded.

"Hey you ugly bastard!!" Karen came out of one of the halls. Chiguchi turned to Karen, and he ran at once while tearing down the hallway floor which was made of high quality wood. Karen's body was suddenly wrapped in the flower roots that previously tied his legs.

"!!??" Karen was surprised.

When he looked forward, the multi-mouthed monster had already split its body as if it were made entirely of mouth, teeth, and lips. And the creature ate him. "You think you can run from me!! Huh!!" That Chiguchi said. "No." Said Karen who came out from inside another room.

"What!??" The monster was dumbfounded.

"Fluffal Trick – Copycat." Karen said. When Chiguchi was caught off guard he saw his victims come back to life. Ruka beats the monster using a chair like there's no words, stops. "Ruka-kun!" Yoko threw another chili spray at Ruka. The boy caught it, held it, then sprayed it.

Of course killing that Monster

"Where are you going huh!!!" Ruka shouted at someone who was trying to run away. "Good grief." Karen muttered with an even expression. So he's there huh! Yoko thought.

They saw a man who looked, literally, like a criminal. "You think I'm afraid of kids like you!!" He shouted. "Careful, I think he's a Shinsui type." Yoko said. "Oh good..." Karen sighed. "Because I'm going to beat him up!!" Ruka said. The man in front of them sprouted flower roots all over the hallway floor. The roots are trying to catch them.

"!?" Yoko bonded as well as Ruka.

Karen dodged the Roots, dodged, jumped.

Then.

"Fluffal Trick – Leo!" He took out the Stuffed Lion in mid-air. The doll hit the man in front of him, "Akh!" The man bounced, then hit his head on the floor.

BDUKK!!

"Is he dead?" Ruka said. "No, he just passed out." Karen replied. They both look at each other. They had tied up the man they bumped into using Karen's yellow threads. "You two!!" Yoko called. "Yeah!" Karen and Ruka answered. "I got a phone here. I don't think it's broken and still works." Yoko said. "Really!?" Karen was surprised to hear that. "Then what are you doing, hurry up and call the police!!" Ruka shouted at Yoko. The girl immediately contacted the police as soon as possible. The day was not what they had imagined. Greeted by the Monster, circled in the hallway, and killed that Monster himself. After some time they called, the police came to secure the house.

"You guys are so lucky!!" A police officer was impressed by their story. "And about the house of the Hanahata Clan..." Said the officer. "It's actually over there." He pointed to the house behind them.

"Uuuhhhhh." Karen slapped her forehead.
