The Formal Confession (part 2)

Sabrina immediately ran back up to prepare herself.

Earlier, when Alexander left, Sabrina had already picked a dress from the fortune cabinet, courtesy of Mr. Alexander 'Stinking Rich' Grande.

She picked a striped chenille-knit turtle neck dress from Oscar De La Renta. It was a below the knee, long-sleeved black-colored dress with a noticeable red stripes at the hem of it. She paired it with a pair of gold high heels which matched the dress elegantly.

After she showered and dressed, she sat in front of her dresser and dried her hair. She tied her hair in a messy bun and let a few strands fall near her ears. She also applied a little amount of makeup just to give her face some color.

She stood in front of the mirror to see if she looked nice. After a few turns, she grabbed her red purse and finally went down to meet Alexander. Her mouth fell immediately fell open as soon as she saw him.

"Look at us being destined for each other," Alexander said as soon as he saw Sabrina walk down the stairs.

Alexander was wearing an outfit with the same style as Sabrina.

He wore a black turtle neck sweater matched with a pair of black jeans and black shoes. Alexander also wore a red trench coat which matched Sabrina's dress perfectly. His hair was also brushed back neatly, making his facial features stand out.

Alexander looked absolutely dashing right now and Sabrina can't help it but stare at the handsome man standing before him.

"What? Did my looks render you speechless?" Alexander smiled playfully as he approached Sabrina.

"You think too highly of yourself Mr. Grande," Sabrina answered as she rolled her eyes.

"I think I have the right," Alexander chuckled as he offered his hand to Sabrina, "Shall we?" he said.

Sabrina gave her hand willingly to Alexander and smiled, "I guess you should change your name to Conceited Grande now," she said.

"Should I?" he said responded and they both laughed.

On their way to the restaurant both of them we're pretty silent inside the car, but it wasn't awkward. They were pretty much enjoying each other's company right now.

Sabrina glances at Alexander from time to time, being with Alexander still felt surreal to her. Who in the world would have thought that it's possible for a person to fall in love within 2 weeks?

Well she maybe the living example.

For the past few days that they spent with each other, a realization came to Sabrina. Being with Alexander made her extremely happy. Although he was very playful, she can see that he was really sincere with her. In a short span of time of knowing each other and being together, she can definitely say that she has fallen in love with him already.

She was also afraid to admit this to herself in the beginning as she was scared of being hurt in the end.

But right now, she's ready to give her heart to Alexander.

No doubts, no regrets.

After arriving at the restaurant, Sabrina was just about to remove her seatbelt but she was immediately stopped by Alexander.

"I'll go take-out food for us, let's eat it somewhere else. Wait for me here," Alexander said and left the car immediately.

Sabrina just sat inside the car, confused. She thought that they're going to eat here, what's with the sudden change of plans?

After 15 minutes or so, Alexander finally arrived holding two paper bags. He opened the backseat and placed the food there, and then he boarded the driver's seat.

"Where are we going to eat that?" Sabrina asked.

"You'll see," Alexander answered as he started his engine and sped away.

On the road, Sabrina looked out the window and noticed that it was familiar. She felt like she had been here before and as soon as she realized, she spoke, "Are we going to the…"

"Yes," Alexander answered her immediately.

They were going to the beach!

Sabrina suddenly felt excited inside. A smile was plastered on her face. Alexander can't help it but smile too. He was glad that he thought of changing their plans.

"Wow! How beautiful!" Sabrina exclaimed as soon as they arrived.

"Help me with the blankets," said Alexander as he opened the backseat.

Sabrina immediately grabbed the blankets inside the car and held them while Alexander held the food. They walked on the seashore to find a good spot, but since Sabrina was wearing heels, her shoes gets buried every time she stepped.

"You should've informed me earlier," Sabrina whined.

Suddenly, Alexander kneeled in front of her and placed the bags he held down.

"Lift up your foot," he instructed Sabrina which she complied immediately, "I'll hold these for you," Alexander said after he removed her heels.

"The beach is so beautiful at night," Sabrina said as her eyes twinkled.

Soon, they found a good spot to spread their blanket and have dinner. It was a spot near the big rocks along the seashore.

Sabrina immediately unrolled the blanket and spread it on the sand. Alexander on the other hand, started to bring out the food one by one and placed them on the blanket.

After everything was set, they both sat down and had their dinner.

Both of them had a fun time eating together. Alexander fed her from time to time and Sabrina also did the same. It was all romantic and lovely.

After they ate, they both cleaned up and set the garbage aside for them to throw later.

Both of them just sat and stared at the beautiful sea. The scenery as absolutely mesmerizing and Sabrina was obviously happy about it seeing the smile on her face.

"Wanna know why I brought you here?" Alexander suddenly spoke.

Sabrina turned her head to Alexander and nodded her head. She was actually curious why he suddenly decided to go to the beach and have dinner in the seashore.

"Because it's your favourite place and I want to do something special for you here," Alexander said. He turned his body around so he was facing Sabrina. He held her hand and clasped it firmly.

"This is the first time I'd be doing this in my entire life. You can't tell, but I'm really nervous right now," he started, "I think I owe you a confession. I realized that I haven't properly confessed to you yet so listen to me carefully," Alexander said as he stared at Sabrina straight on the eyes.

"As you know, I have never been in a relationship before. I had zero interest in love. I grew up hating the word 'love' as it brought me too many painful memories. I use to tell myself to never fall in love to prevent myself from being hurt like how my mom was hurt before, but I ended up eating my own words when you entered my life Sabrina," Alexander spoke.

"I know this may sound ridiculous, but in the short time we have been together, you have already taught me a lot of things Sabrina. You taught me things that changed me in many ways. You brought me the happiness I have stripped myself all these years. All my life, I felt really lonely but you gave light to my life. You turned the dark days brighter and I'm beyond grateful for those,"

Sabrina's eyes watered as she listened to Alexander with all her heart. The man right in front of her was thanking her for saving him from the pit of darkness he fell into. She was happy hearing these words coming from him right now.

"I am a man full of scars Sabrina, which made me scared of expressing myself. But with you, I don't plan to hold anything back. I know you have doubts about us, about our relationship because everything happened so fast, but please believe me when I say that I love you."

"Alexander…"

"In this lifetime, you are the only one I want to be with Sabrina. I know myself better than anybody and I know my heart wants only you. I'm not as romantic as the other guys out there, I'm also bossy and unbearable sometimes, but please be patient with me as I help myself improve and be a better person for you and for us. I promise to only love you and no one else. You mean everything to me baby," Alexander spoke, his words coming straight from the bottom of his heart.

Sabrina raised her arms and reached out for his face. She held his face with both her hands and rubbed it gently with her thumb, "You won't be lonely anymore because you have me now Alex. We'll both face everything together now. I'll always be here to hold your hand," she spoke as she looked straight into his eyes,"I was really scared to admit this to myself at first, but I think it's safe to say these words now,"

"I love you Alexander, I love you," she said.
