In Search Of You

[As I stare on and into the past, in the end you emerge, Clad in the light of a pole-star piercing the darkness of time: You become an image of what is remembered forever.] Vivaan typed and sent these beautiful lines. [Unending Love by Rabindranath Tagore.] Aisha typed while smiling. He furrowed his brows slightly surprised and replied back [You knew that these lines were copied from a poem! You seemed to be a good reader.] [So what's the big deal! You also seemed to be a good reader to me.] [Priti, you are really talented, smart and beautiful also. I want to meet you.] He typed while looking at the desktop profile of her. Aisha's smile faded away from her face. She stood in front of the mirror and examined herself. Her slightly plump body along with boyish like appearance, disappointed even herself. Her interest was intensifying with their daily chats. The more she got to know him, the more she got attracted towards him. But the most amusing part was that she only knew his name not even his surname. She doesn't know how he looks like, where does he live and other information. If this is called Love, then Aisha thought 'I am in love with the person I don't even know!' Aisha was in panic as her chest felt very heavy 'No, this can't happen. I should stop it right away...' Her thoughts stopped as the cell phone in her hand started ringing. Vivaan.... He is calling!! "Priti.." Aisha called Priti who was busy in her night care routine. Aisha felt a slight pain in her heart. "It's Vivaan, he is calling." Aisha replied. Priti immediately stood up and strode towards Aisha. She took cell phone from Aisha and attended the call while walking towards the balcony leaving her alone inside. Her first love was never meant to be hers. ..... 4 years later.. "Aisha!" Ronit swayed his right hand while calling out her name. Aisha's heart skipped a bit. She stopped eating momos when she heard him. Aisha tried to remain calm so that she couldn't show him her real emotions. She looked at him with an expressionless face. Ronit approached her and felt an intimidating aura that was radiating from her, which he had never seen before. He sat opposite to Aisha while she had already resumed her eating. "Eat it if you want." she offered while trying to be formal. Ronit shooked his head. For some reason his heart felt a stinging pain. Few minutes passed, Prachi came and sat beside Ronit while hooking her hand with his as if stating her belonging. Aisha's heart tremble violently looking at how lovey dovey they were being but she still maintained her composure. When she finished eating she looked at both of them while smiling and said "You two please carry on. I will not be a burden here. Enjoy." She picked her bag and walked out of the stall. Ronit stared at her receeding figure feeling a tightness in his chest. As Aisha was walking down the street, suddenly a bike came and hit her. Fortunately the impact was not great and she only stumbled a little while falling straight ahead hurting her right palm slightly. "I am extremely sorry.. Are you hurt?" a guy asked as he approached her. Aisha was angry but looking at the guy who was her classmate Vivaan, she just passed it as an accident. "You are bleeding. Come I will take you to the health centre." Vivaan said. She rejected him and went straight to the parking lot. Vivaan looked at her back with hatred. His lips turned up into an evil smirk containing malicious intentions. .... 10 years later "Dad, Mom doesn't love me that's why she left me, right?" 5 years old little girl asked her father. "No my baby, she loves you alot. I wronged her that's why she left me. But she will return for you. I will bring her back." he replied hoarsely and looked at his cute daughter who resembled more like her mother. Meanwhile at a certain place, a five year old boy was looking TV in which a man who looked more like the boy was giving a speech.
