Friday night of October

It was the 31st of October, houses were filled with Halloween decorations and the road was filled with kids wearing different types of horror costumes. I don't celebrate Halloween cause I don't really believe in those creepy stuff people would say to scare to their kids, but my town is really into Halloween and we're pretty much the only house who doesn't even put a single pumpkin in the porch or something. Today I am going to my grandmas house with my little brother, Harry because my mom and dad works at night shift so we won't have anyone to watch over us. We took our luggage and went to our mini Van. My grandmas house is 20 minutes away from our house, and her part of town is really scary, weird stuff happens at that town every single day and now that it's Halloween today it will be even creepier. For context I did say I didn't really believe in those stuff but trust me when I was 8 years old and I was at my grandmas house at the time I saw a black shadow creeping in my grandmas basement. And people is even starting to call that town, "the ghost town."

We soon arrived to our grandmas house. Her house looked like a 2 story building with an old tree stretching at the top of the houses roof, and the windows looked very dusty just from looking at it from afar. My mom gave us kisses and waved goodbye while my dad starting back the engine. My brother was about 7 years old and he never get to remember meeting our grandma because when he last met her he was like 4 years old. We walked on the porch and began knocking, their a tiny old lady with dark white hair appeared in the door. "Why my children come on in, I set up baked cookies and glasses of milk for y'all." We both hugged her and came inside the house. We set our luggages in the living room and sat on the sofas.
