Living life again in an alternate world??

Since childhood, James always had many dreams. He wanted to be a NBA player, then the next year he would want to be a lawyer, or a doctor, or a singer. Everytime he likes something he wanted to try it.

For example, when he was in junior high school, there are some kids that likes to do some break dancing, James thought it was cool and try searching it on the video platform Utube. Then he felt that he wanted to be a dancer. But, that's it. He just like something, then he began imagining how cool it would be if he can do it, then maybe he would try imitating it in front of the mirror but too shy to do it in front of his friends. And it's done. Until he likes something else.

James is a man who has many ideas but doesn't have the will to do it. Either because he felt it's too risky, or he doesn't know where to start, or maybe because it's too hard.

Now, James is already 24 years old with nothing to himself. He dropped out from college, he tried to start some business with a few friends, then it became too long before they knew what to do, where to start, and how to do it. So, his friends started backing off one by one until it's over. He tried to do it himself but it didn't last long either, he kept procrastinating until the last time his high school firend tried to it together with him, and he backed off again until one day he informed that he wanted to do it himself with his girlfriend. James was so baffled and he just cut off connection with him.

After all that, James doesn't seem to have any motivation at all to do anything. Now he just stayed at his house reading those light novels, smoking, watching videos on Utube , and lying around. He felt like he just lived till he can't live anymore either because no money or illness.

Sometimes James likes to think where did he go wrong, maybe if he did something different, or maybe if he insist on doing something, Or maybe if the world is different he won't be living like this. That's why he likes to read those novels with system or going back in time. it's a wish fulfillment novel after all. If he could be like those protagonist, he would live a fulfilling life, trying out everything he likes.

These last few weeks, James is already struggling to make ends meet. he stopped smoking because there's no money left for that, he started saving every last pennies left for meals. 'Perhaps it's going to end soon' James sometimes thought that way.

Tonight, before he went to sleep. He felt like seeing either a hallucination if he's awake or a dream if he's already asleep. He still remembers those few lines of world appearing in his lline of view.
