Life Of A Young Author

Klein, a high schooler who has been locking himself in his room ever since he lost his best friend. His mother never bothered pushing him to go to school. Since he had nothing to do, he started writing novels online. He got a lot of 5 stars reviews but somehow his book is never 5 stars! He needs to look for the comment with no 5 stars! He continued writing until his fifth book was published online. Suddenly, a reader of his reaches out to him and wishes him luck with his new book. It was normal to him but when he checked the person’s account, he saw their past comments. Turns out they had commented a lot on his book and he reads every comment written by them. He was shocked to find the person pointing out his mistake and their opinion on his book. Not a full 5 stars review! Never once he felt hurt by review until this person appears. K: Do you mind if I offer you to be my assistant. K.DMed.ME: O.O? And that...is how Klein made his first friend. ~ Warning: Contain(s): slight bl Not so good English triggering topics ~ Criticism are welcome in the comment section!

"This chapter is…rather weird."

"The part where the main character was concerned for someone he barely knew? Mhm. Actually…that happened yesterday."

Han was interested in this story and sat on Klein's bed eagerly. Of course, Klein decides to ruin his happy mood and make him work instead.

"I am not telling you. Go get me a new notebook at the store."

"I am your assistant! Not your slave!"

He walks out from the house and it's silence again for Klein. He would love to check on Ray but of course, the guy hasn't texted him yet so he doesn't know his number. He pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and saw his own phone number.

Before, he would keep papers with his numbers so that he could keep in contact with high ranking people he met. His obsession with power before was unbelievable. Thank god, he still do it and yesterday was the best time to give someone his number.

Han returned and he put the notebook in front of Klein's face with a suspicious, smiling face. Now, whatever he's planning, Klein is not going to fall for it.

"Hey. Woo Young said that a girl wanted to go on a date with you. Are you free today?"

"...No."

Han shows thumbs up and secretly panics about this. He called Woo Young and got cursed at his stupid failed attempts.

"Give the phone to Klein!"

Han gave the phone to Klein and he took it just to end the call. Then, Woo Young called his number. Klein answered it and got cursed by the girl.

"JUST GIVE HER ONE DAY! THIS DAY ONLY! Don't you think this could give you ideas for those two couples in your story?"

Klein ends the call and grabs his hoodie. Han looks at him in confusion but Klein drags the boy out of the house and he finally gets it. In a flash of light, Han grabs Klein's hand and runs to where Woo Young ordered.

"Here we are!"

Klein was met with a long hair girl. Klein admits, her makeup is awesome. Also, doesn't she feel cold wearing a skirt?

Klein stares at the girl while Woo Young, Han and Hana are sweating nervously. Louis told Woo Young and Hana about his crush on Klein and they were so excited to help him make Klein fall for him.

Until they found out Louis was already rejected.

Woo Young could feel Louis is pretty sad about it and she wanted Louis to at least experience a date with Klein. She makes a plan and they dress Louis up as a girl. He does look different but Klein feels something is wrong here.

"So. Are you guys going with us? Is this how dates work?"

Those three happily push both Louis and Klein inside the mall so they can go on a date alone. Klein stares at Louis which makes him blush a bit.

"I don't know what to do."

"I- ehem. Well, are you hungry?" He almost forgot to change his voice.

Klein noticed Louis' finger pointing at a noodle restaurant. He nods and they're both inside with Louis struggling to think what he's going to order. He saw Klein order and tell the waiter he's going to get the same.

Louis knew Klein would never start a conversation so he took the first move, himself.

"It's a lovely day isn't it?"

"...No. But sure."

He sweatdropped at Klein's answer. Well, not that he ever answers people nicely. Except maybe…yesterday's incident that no one knows. Their food arrived and Klein saw that Louis was eyeing the utensils next to him.

"You don't have to be shy. If you need help just say it." Klein said and gave him the spoon and fork.

Louis nods and accepts it while looking down. They started eating and Louis put his hair to the side. If he knew the wig was gonna be a problem, he would claim himself to be a girl with short hair.

Klein stares at the girl who keeps moving her hair to the side and thinks about it. He then stands up which makes Louis stop eating. He saw the guy walk out from the shop.

Louis was shocked that he thought he did something wrong. When he was about to call Woo Young, he saw Klein come back and sat in front of him. That guy gave him a small clip and pointed at his hair.

"You should tie your hair next time. Or maybe use this small pin."

Louis was too stunned to even accept the gift. Klein stares at the girl who is staring at him and just puts the pin in front of Louis.

Then, he slurps all his noodles in one go.

Dude wasted so much time that he feels too hungry.

Louis grabs the hairpin and uses it before finishing all his food. What surprised him after that is that Klein paid for the food.

Next, Louis looked at the bookstore. He remembers Han suggested he bring Klein here. It reminds him that Klein read webnovel on their school trip together.

Klein follows Louis inside and they stumble across the comic book section. Klein hasn't been reading comics in a while. Maybe, it's not that bad that he got here. Louis crouches down to check on the sci-fi comic he saw and Klein crouches down next to him.

"It's about androids."

"Reminds me of K's first novel which he abandoned. He wrote something about android and survival games? I think."

Klein glanced at Louis with a little interest.

"You read that book?"

"Yeah. It was not good but also not bad. I love the story plot."

Klein takes the comic and pays for it. Louis is pretty much not used to Klein paying for everything because that guy would take advantage of people around him to pay for his stuff.

Well…

Mainly for his food because people like to bring him out for food.

Klein gave the comic to Louis and they ended the date because Louis could see it on Klein's face that he's too tired to walk more.

"I think we should end here. You look tired."

"We should. Don't reach out for me again. I am not worth it."

Klein walks away and gives Louis a small wave. Louis waves back before removing the hairpin from his wig.

"That was nice."

Han: How was the date?

Klein: I guess…it does give me a bit of inspiration.

Han: Why don't you just write romance?

Klein: ( ◜‿◝ )No.
