A young boy going by the unusual name of Vol was cursed with a weak constitution and even weaker eyesight from as long as he remembered. His life was a constant struggle as a result. Even more given the fact he was forced to deal with a poor upbringing and abusive parents.
As such, Vol found solace in immersing himself in fiction and in exploring the strange gift he had.
Each time there was a storm, he would be able to accurately tell where and when each bolt of lightning would fall. And he could even predict when such a storm was coming, and if the bright bolts of plasma would be present in it or not.
His dearest wishes in the world was finding why things were as such, and prove his parents wrong. Who for some reason, kept telling him he would never find love and stay a vrigin forever with his weird looks and weak body.
He knew they were fool, stupid bastards who were so hurt that they lashed out at weaker than them. That it was probably harder to be them than around them.
But still, when things are said enough time. They stuck with anyone, let alone on someone so young.
However, after a particularly bad day. The opportunity to fulfill his wishes and more came to him.
In the form of truck somehow falling from the heavens.
Soon enough after an embarassing death, he found himself embroiled in a game so grand it was downright divine.
