It's the Trouble that Chases after Her

The days passed by just like that and the fashion week arrived.

Country F

Yue didn't think she would be back in this place in less than a year. But that was to be expected since this county is the fashion capital of the world.

"The outfits will arrive tomorrow so you are free for today. It's up to you if you wanted to rest or to roam around just be sure to avoid getting into trouble" Ker gave out instruction once they settled in the hotel.

Yue realized that Ker can be naggy. Her previous knowledge about this "mysterious genius designer" was totally overturned once she got to know him better.

He was easy to get along with. He was a man of few words for people he doesn't like but for people that matters, he can be like Kiro that talks nonstop. That goes especially if he's on the roll as long as fashion is involved. He is also a bully and the victim is mostly Little Kil. And after she got discharged, he was like a mother hen that always reminds her to take care of herself. The guy can seriously be irritatingly cute, and the only time he can be peaceful is when he is sleeping. For some reason, his energy reserve is too low so would just fall asleep any time without considering the place.

Sometimes she would catch Ker looking strangely at her, but since she can detect no malicious intentions she just ignored it. Once, she asked him about it but he surprisingly kept his mouth shut so she didn't follow up on the matter.

"Don't worry boss, I'll stay away from harm" Yue confirmed.

"You sure you won't go after it?" Ker squinted.

"That one was a special case. I'm a peaceful loving person how can I look for trouble. Anyway, I've lived in this place for three years and nothing bad happened to me so don't worry" Yue showed an innocent face to prove her credibility.

"Makes sense" Ker made a realization and nodded his head. "So you're really going out?"

"Yep, I missed the foods here. Do you wanna come? I know all the places that serve delicious foods. You won't get disappointed" Yue's eyes were shining as she imagined all the food she can eat.

"Tsk, I'm just surprised you're not getting fat. Anyway, just make sure to be back before dinner. I'll be sleeping, I'm tired" Ker yawned afterward.

"I will boss" Yue was beaming.

"Go" Ker dismissed her just like that.

Yue changed into a semi-formal outfit. Her first stop is the fine dining restaurant located at the top of Magas Tower.

Yue already made reservation months prior the moment she knew she was going back to Country F. The place was popular due to its breathtaking view rather than its food. But they have a specialty there that particularly caught her taste. The food was not something she could easily recreate since it involved a secret sauce.

She arrived during lunch hour and the place was already packed with people.

Yue confirmed her reservation at the host of the restaurant.

Yue shouldn't wait for too long but the host made her so.

Yue detected an abnormality with the situation, "Is there a problem with my reservation?"

"Ahh Miss Crest, I do apologize for the inconvenience. The truth is, a VIP came in" the host didn't offer much explanation but it implies that they have no choice but to give her place to that person.

"I seem to remember that no one is exempted from the reservation only policy" Yue was calm but coldness can be detected from her statement. The host unconsciously shuddered.

The host didn't think that Yue is more important than that VIP. Although he was doubtful when he saw her surname, however, the name Yue Crest didn't ring a bell. It's not that they wanted to wrong her but that VIP happened to demand that particular room she reserved. The host just executed the owner's order to remove her reservation.

"Miss Crest we're truly sorry. As compensation, we already placed you on the reservation list for tomorrow and we'll cover for your expenses" the host may sound polite but Yue can hear that bit of dismissive tone from his voice.

Yue was already feeling bad as she was craving for the taste of that food, added with her discovery, the atmosphere around her was became stifling.

"And whose the unfortunate reservation did you cancel this time just to accommodate me for tomorrow?" Yue thought that their attitude towards their customer is unbecoming. They don't have principles.

"That-" the host noticed it was becoming hard to breathe. Did he misjudge the situation? Did he unknowingly offend a bigger person?

"How about you join me for lunch instead?" Yue heard someone spoke from her side.

"Mr. Asher" the host suddenly caught his breath when he saw who arrived and immediately acknowledge him.

"I was not aware that the reservation was made you else I would've chosen another place to eat. But what's done is done so how about joining me instead?" Rei made it sound so easy but when the host heard it he sweated from the inside out.

"Then I see no reason to decline your invitation" The moment she recognized his voice, Yue experienced dread once again, although it was lesser than when she first encountered it.

Yue knew she would have to face this man sooner or later, and since she's different from "Yue" then she shouldn't succumb to this feeling.
