On a particular legacy ground where hundreds of people wearing brightly-colored robes that showed that they were from different powerful factions based in many different planetary regions of the universe, could be seen fighting each other tremendously hard to create a small chance at obtaining a floating scroll formed from metal and actually glittered in the blinding golden-violet light that emanated from within it.
A young man who looked to be in his early thirties and was single-handedly knocking back dozens of furious opponents that came at him simply because they effortlessly identified him to be the strongest amongst all of them gathered here, suddenly furrowed his brows when he felt that something was amiss.
This person who was called Sun Kang and was a hugely talented cultivation genius, had a rather powerful perception of danger, even up to several hundred miles away. But he wasn't born with this ability. Only by total dedication to honing incomparable perceivability of things around him could he achieve this.
"Although I can feel great danger around me. I am however getting the feeling that there is no danger around me and that I am the one possibly thinking things up." Sun Kang said and shook his head as he did a rapid scan of the area around him using his powerful eyes that could see up to a million kilometers away, which however couldn't cover the vastness of the ancient legacy ground that they were on.
"But how can this be? My honed danger-perceiving sense has never failed me before. So, what's really happening?"
"Although I am really powerful that I can't be easily killed by the formidable cultivators gathered around me, even if they all unite together in attacking me. But I still have to be really careful, or I might be quickly slayed before I know it." Sun Kang said and raised his sense of wariness of his immediate surroundings to the next level.
However, what Sun Kang didn't know was that someone who was wearing a dark purple hood over his head, and was busy looking at him with a cold and really vicious smile in his face, began to unwrap a certain dull-glowing item kept in his hand.
"Sun Kang, the intense and bitter rivalry between us has gone on for long enough, so it's time for you to die, as no two tigers can live on the same mountain."
"Actually, there is no bad blood between us, but your damned presence is greatly inhibiting my growth. I am done with the magnificent radiance and majestic splendor radiating from you outshining mine!" This person who had a long scar on the left side of his face and seemed like a really dubious and notorious person, said and suddenly aimed the unwrapped treasure hidden in his left hand at a fully wary Sun Kang.
BOOM!!!
The moment it was activated by infusion of large quantities of Origin Energy into it, a terrifying explosive sound that rang out like tens of millions of enormously-sized lightning bolts shooting down from the sky all at once with exceedingly great fury, suddenly rang out from within the small temple-shaped treasure held in this person's hand, before being accompanied by a raging, earth-shaking blast of an unfamiliar, dark violet Origin Energy which shot towards Sun Kang at a speed that despite his unmatchable god-like movement speed, he will not be able to evade it.
While Sun Kang who was fully locked down in space by the formless power that emitted from that treasure to totally restrict its target from escaping, was caught up in that blast that immediately reduced his body to countless smithereens. And this was a body that if he stood at point-blank range to a gigantic explosion that could reduce dozens of small worlds to innumerable rocky fragments in an instant, he will come out unfazed and unscathed.
As for Sun Kang who immediately looked in the direction where that great and fearsome, earth-cleaving blast had come from, and then instantly noticed the person that had unleashed such a devastating attack of cosmic level-threat at him, screamed out in boundless anger, "Gao Xue!!!"
That was the last thing he shouted out in unfathomable wrath before his body was entirely reduced to nothing.

In the void that was the boundless sea of blackness and empty space, attacks that shone like stars and were hundredfold their sizes, could be seen moving from one faraway region of the void to another at incomparably great speeds.
These attacks which possessed incredible devastation powers, radiated auras that could turn mountains, islands and seas into nothing from thousands of kilometers away.
At the moment, a really disastrous battle that could cause worlds to shatter, was going on in the void between two groups of powerful entities who relentlessly exchanged myriads of attacks between themselves.
One of these groups consisted of entities called Supreme Innate Spirits, while the other group consisted of numerous god-like experts from a race called the Azural race.
But, the spirits which possessed shocking sizes as they were as huge as a planet, with cultivators below the level of god-level experts immediately turning into nothing if they tried as much as near a thousand meters around anyone of them, were being beaten back by the experts from the Azural race.
And this was solely because they couldn't use more than thirty percent of their powers, unless in the body of a powerful host, or as Supporting-spirits in weapons and artifacts where their fathomless powers can be fully unleashed.
Although the Innate Spirits did their best to fight back their assailants, their strengths were just far from enough and couldn't do anything of great significance to the experts of the Azural race who constantly struck them with powerful energy-bound attacks capable of effortlessly pulverizing numerous large worlds in an instant.
But, neither could the immense calamitous attacks unleashed by the Azural experts cause the Supreme Innate Spirits serious harm. And this was all because of a particular Innate spirit called the Supreme Spirit of Life!
This spirit stood tall and invincible as it played the role of rapidly repairing every form of damage that was inflicted upon the others.
The Supreme Spirit of Life which looked like a gigantic tree with glowing ancient runes all over its body, had countless branches that could seemingly wrap around everything in the universe multiple times, and constantly radiated a type of majestic power that could boundlessly infuse the mountains, seas, oceans and even the constellations of stars with life and endless vitality, was the one constantly releasing streams of dazzling Life Origin Energy which completely enveloped the large illusory forms of the other eleven spirits.
These enormous streams of Life Origin Energy caused the other spirits to quickly heal from the countless wounds that they sustained from the attacks sent out at them by the experts from the Azural race. While the Supreme Life Spirit itself immediately recovered from the shocking damages dealt upon it by the world-crushing attacks that incessantly struck it.
"Fellow experts, concentrate your attacks more on that damned spirit of life!" A black-robed expert who was surrounded by multiple haloes of a prismatic light, and suddenly became greatly infuriated by what he was seeing from thousands of kilometers away, suddenly screamed out in both wrath and frustration at his other colleagues using a powerful mind transmission method.
The instant the other experts received the message from the black-robed expert; a message filled with both indignation and exasperation, they suddenly focused many of their attacks more on the Supreme Life Spirit that constantly proved itself to be the bane of their powerful attacks which could rip apart multiple layers of different realities and endlessly punch massive irrecoverable holes in the fabric of space and time.

Once god-ranked Battle Skills were utilized by each of the experts, different types of powerful attacks in the forms of shining illusory palms, spears, swords, claws and so on that shone with the brilliancy of the largest stars and possessed the power to turn innumerable worlds into nothing in the blink of an eye, abruptly manifested and shot out in the direction of the Supreme Life Spirit.
But, other innate spirits won't just stand by and watch the Supreme Spirit of Life become gravely injured or annihilated by the numerous terrifying attacks coming its way at unbelievable speeds.
Although the Supreme Life Spirit had an unimaginable recovery speed as it could regenerate into its gigantic tree form from only a microscopic particle in just a few seconds, they couldn't take that chance.
So, the strongest of them all, which was the Supreme Spirit of Destruction that appeared as an enormous cluster of massive blue-black clouds that had countless brilliant bolts of deep crimson lightning shoot out from every area of its body, and had pole-sized arcs of dark purple electricity pulsate unceasingly about its gigantic illusory form, suddenly glowed in a blinding blue-black radiance that dyed a really large stretch of the endless void.
Immediately this brilliance erupted from the enormous cluster of clouds that was the body of the Supreme Spirit of Destruction, tens of thousands of ancient symbols that shone with intensity that was a thousandfold that of any star, suddenly appeared around the body of the Supreme Destruction Spirit and began to emit visible ripples of a nigh-immeasurable, world-splintering power.
And the moment these symbols appeared, numerous stars hundreds to thousands of kilometers away, rapidly shattered into billions of sparks that lit up that area of the void in a rather beautiful manner. While thousands of massive floating rocks that were many times larger than small worlds, abruptly turned into huge piles of dust that scattered about in that particular region of the void.
Immediately the arcane symbols bearing tyrannical power and individually radiated unlimited mights surfaced, a continent-sized dark-black beam possessing fathomless power of pure destruction, suddenly emerged from the cluster of clouds and shot out at a great speed towards the attacks sent out at the Supreme Spirit of Life by the Azural experts.
The instant the attacks released by the experts collided with the dark-black beam unleashed by the Supreme Spirit of Destruction, a wave of power that possessed great destructive capability since it could disintegrate many large worlds in an instant, suddenly emerged from the point of collision and moved in all directions at an unimaginable speed, turning absolutely everything in its paths to nothing.
If one were to give a scale of power to the degree of destruction caused by the wave that had surfaced, one could easily compare it to the devastating energy storm that will erupt from several hundred planet-sized bombs stacked together and detonating all at once.
Thus, the destruction power possessed by the wave was greatly alarming that the god-like experts themselves quickly backed several million kilometers away, or if they were caught in that terrifying, violent energy storm, it could spell absolute doom for them.
Then moment they appeared in a new location that was millions of kilometers away from where the cataclysmic storm of raging annihilating energies manifested, and where crossing such a shocking distance of even quadrillions of kilometers will only take an instant for experts at their level, they quickly erected powerful defensive shields in front of their bodies to protect themselves from the unfathomably destructive wave that was moving towards them.
But a second later, they were viciously struck by the wave that caught up to them very quickly and impacted them with an immeasurable amount of destructive force that could cause countless spatial dimensions to collapse into nothing.
If it weren't that they had powerful divinely bodies, they could have exploded into uncountable bloody splinters!
As for the Supreme Innate Spirits, they were each reduced into a mess and were sent flying away like broken kites caught in a raging gale for hundreds of thousands of kilometers through the void. Only after being shoved away for more than five hundred thousand kilometers did their furiously shooting bodies come to a full halt.
However, they didn't go unscathed as thousands of wide and deep cracks could be seen all over their huge illusory bodies, causing them to be racked with intense agonizing pains.
But these pains only lasted for a few seconds when streams of a vibrant green-colored energy known as the Life Origin Energy, suddenly appeared and permeated their bodies, causing the terrible wounds that riddled their entire mountainous bodies to quickly vanish without a trace.
Besides, they became full of vitality again, however at the expense of the Supreme Spirit of Life that had started looking really dim due to the excessive expenditure and usage of its cosmic healing power and vitality infusion ability.
As for the Supreme Spirit of Destruction that unleashed that beam bearing universal-scale devastation power, the dazzling dark-blue glow coming from its huge body of clusters of cloud had grown really faint, with the dark purple electricity that previously arced about it cloud-like body coming to a stop. Furthermore, the bolts of deep crimson lightning that previously shot out from its illusory cloud-shaped body had completely ceased, signifying that the Supreme Spirit of Destruction had greatly weakened.
The Azural experts who floated many million kilometers away, quickly popped divine healing pills into their mouths to rapidly heal from their wounds and go face the Supreme Innate Spirits once again before they could think of fleeing from them.
It was with great heavenly fortune that they had found all the Supreme Innate Spirits gathered in one place, so they couldn't let such great luck slip between their fingers into the abyss.
Therefore, they must surely obtain these spirits and force them to merge with their bodies where they will quickly attain full comprehension of a certain Great Primordial Law that a particular innate spirit was born from, and then become a thousandfold or even a millionfold more powerful than their peers.
Or, they could simply make them become supporting-spirits for their blood weapons and artifacts; a strategic move that will definitely cause such weapons or artifacts to evolve and climb up in power to a whole new phenomenal level; a level where they can effortlessly exercise astronomically great power over hundreds of thousands of other peak experts at their False Divinity or Pseudo-God level.
Then in a flash, they appeared ten thousand kilometers before the Supreme Innate Spirits who looked on at them with great despair and fury.
But just when the experts of the Azural race could combine their efforts together to cast down a powerful formation that will lock down the space around the spirits and heavily suppress them using a particular imprisonment formation that an expert sent to them using his mind transmission ability, the Supreme Spirit of Dominance which was also nearing full depletion of its energy, as it had been fighting the experts for many hours now, quickly conversed mentally with the other spirits that they should each unleash a strike that will contain virtually all their powers.
It wanted to try their bet on single individual attacks that will bear their full powers and constitutional essences!
So, the Supreme Spirits of Radiance, Domination, Invincibility, Fire, Ice, Myriad Creations, Fortune, Time, Space, Destruction, Metal, and the largest of them all, the Spirit of Life which was a dozen times larger than all of the spirits combined, all got ready to unleash their most powerful attacks which of course will drain them dry.
Although it was odd for the Spirit of Life to join the rest in attacking, it could however do so with the vast and seemingly boundless power that it possessed.
Once its power was harnessed and focused into a solid, steel-like column of extremely condensed power that was countless times more solid than steel, it could deal a whole lot of unprecedented damage to anything that will stand in its path to obstruct it. Even dozens of massive planets formed purely and entirely from steel, and possess solid cores as hard as diamonds, won't be able to obstruct the beam in any way.
Therefore, other than using its power to heal everything within the universe and grant them endless life and inexhaustible vitality, it could cause a really shocking degree of ruination that was nearly on par with that of the Supreme Spirit of Destruction, making it the second strongest Supreme Innate Spirit.
So, in the next second, many brilliantly colored beams of concentrated Origin Energy that each possessed the frightening power to turn thousands of entire worlds to dust, suddenly shot out at great speeds from the twelve Supreme Innate Spirits towards the experts who hastily retreated backwards by millions of kilometers using their great-distance teleportation powers.
As soon as they appeared at a new location in the void, they quickly erected powerful protective barriers in front of their bodies using their seemingly-inexhaustible divine powers, and also with the aid of powerful defensive treasures that they each wielded.
And not wanting to rely only on just their defenses that could result in a huge disadvantage for them, they quickly responded with their own full-powered attacks that immediately shot out from their hands and at great speeds towards the enormous devastating attacks rushing towards them like furious lightning bolts.

Just like that, myriad powerful attacks in the forms of blinding illusory hands, huge radiant swords, flaming multicolored spears and so on that were formed from their divinity powers using god-tier Battle Skills, and shone with many times the brightness of a gigantic star, whilst possessing the power to turn numerous clusters of large worlds into nothing in the blink of an eye, suddenly materialized right before their outstretched hands and shot in the directions of the attacks discharged by the Supreme Innate Spirits.
The moment the opposing attacks collided into one another, after crossing the tens of millions of kilometers between them in only a few seconds, several resplendent spheres of energy that shone with really harsh brilliance and were many times bigger than the combined size of numerous giant stars, suddenly emerged for only a few seconds before exploding with universe-rupturing, world-shaking bangs, except that there were no sounds since they surfaced in the void.
But, if these startling sounds of explosion were to ring out in any world, the world will definitely reduce in an instant into countless tiny fragments of rocks that will litter the void.
So, a second after the numerous spheres of forcefully-fused clashing energies exploded, tremendously huge waves of unimaginable destructive power abruptly manifested before travelling outward and in all directions with the power to totally obliterate everything in their paths.
The waves were so fast that nobody amongst them, including the innate spirits of laws, really had sufficient time to prepare for it. It smashed into them with a type of force that will disintegrate numerous worlds.
Then the instant the waves struck into them, they were all sent flying away like shooting comets for tens of thousands of kilometers through the void.
Only after several minutes of shooting through the void like actual comets did they regain their balance, looking all worn-out and extremely fatigued.
Besides, each and everyone of them were covered in multiple serious wounds, especially the experts from the Azural race.
They were all covered in numerous slash-like wounds that revealed the glowing lustrous bones of their superhumanly strong and divinely bodies, while the shining thick blood that oozed out from these wounds totally stained their regalia.
As for the Supreme Innate Spirits, they had all become heavily weakened that it seemed like there was no life or vitality in their bodies anymore.
They had all grown really dim having lost their previous brilliance. Even their solid illusory forms had become less visible, that is, had become vague and blurry, giving the feeling that they could fade away anytime soon if they continued to expend more power in their battle with the experts.
At the moment, they were all floating thousands of kilometers away from one another like tremendously huge pieces of earth that moved aimlessly in the void.
The experts of the Azural race who were greatly injured and bled profusely from those wounds, quickly produced powerful healing pills from the independent, inner miniature worlds found within their bodies. And as soon as they did so, they quickly swallowed them down their throats.
These small internal worlds which could act as vast storage spaces for countless earthly materials, and could house and fully support the growth and development of all sorts of creatures, were actually formed from the experts' divinity powers.
Only experts at their level could create vast planetary systems within them that could endlessly sustain life, and from which they could draw out near-limitless divinity powers if they were outside the universe.
Immediately they swallowed the pills, they quickly sat in cross-legged positions in that area of the void to circulate the healing, revitalizing power that erupted from the pills which abruptly dissolved into roiling streams of a luminescent, green-colored healing energy within their bodies.
Few moments later, the experts who had fully recovered from the life-threatening wounds inflicted upon them by the furious waves bearing fathomless cataclysmic power, had their sharp and clear eyes begin to shine with great delight. And this was simply because they could sense that victory was finally within their reach!
Of course, they could see from afar how weakened the innate spirits of laws had become, then once they persuaded them into merging with their bodies or fusing with the treasures forged directly from their blood essences, the spirits will have no choice than to accept and do their biddings.
A second later, where they were now armed with certain restraining and binding-type treasures produced from the independent spatial dimension within them, they all teleported to the different faraway areas of the void that the innate spirits of laws were knocked to.
Immediately detecting the fearsome presences of the experts that outnumbered them by fifty to one materializing before them, the Supreme Innate Spirits who greatly valued their freedom as they wanted to roam round the entire universe unfettered, immediately fell into a deep state of melancholy and began to lament sorrowfully within themselves.
They wish they could find a way to escape such a fate where they would become nothing but slaves controlled by masters!
But just as the heavily weakened Supreme Innate Spirits were beginning to despair under the fierce and intimidating presences of the experts, a flash of light so bright that it seemed to illuminate the entire vast and endless void, suddenly manifested and caused the peak experts of the Azural race who were gazing with unbounded gladness and anticipation at the Innate Spirits to immediately turn their eyes away for only a few seconds.
Although they wouldn't have their eyes hurt by that strongly dazzling flash of light, it was just too sudden that it forced them to turn their eyes away.
However, it was within that small frame of time that the Supreme Spirit of Space and the Supreme Spirit of Time concertedly used the very last slivers of power within them to cast a form of imperceivable power that abruptly wrapped around them and around the other Supreme Innate Spirits who had already lost their wills to resist and were filled with nothing but wrath and resentment towards the experts of the Azural race.
Then without any flash or ripple manifesting from the power that they rapidly interweaved together, they were all immediately transported at great speeds towards the soul that had just appeared in the void and was moving through it at a speed that surpassed the highest speeds of the experts by a thousand fold.
With the fused power of the Supreme Innate Spirits of Space and Time, incalculably huge distances that were impossible to cross within minutes by the god-like experts, could be effortlessly achieved in mere seconds by these innate spirits if they worked together.
So, in that fashion, the spirits hitched a ride on that shooting soul since they were really weak to use their combined space-time movement power for long.
Then along with their innate spirit counterparts, they all temporarily fused to the fleeting soul to escape the terrible fate that was awaiting them.
"What?!! How dare those damned spirits flee right before us?! Quickly, everyone gathered here should send out every experts from their factions to search for the spirits. No one is allowed to slack, as we must capture these spirits and make them submit to us!" A peak expert transmitted to the rest with great anger and vexation rocking the very depth of his heart.
He then said further in that transmission, "We must capture those Supreme Innate Spirits by all means. Once we have them and make them become the supporting-spirits of our blood weapons and artifacts, we will definitely usher in a new era of unprecedented power and glory."
"Our Azural Race will rise to unparalleled supremacy once and for all. I surely can't wait for that glorious and magnificent day!"
