Meet cute

      Hearing his despicable words. I slapped him hard on the face with all the strength left I had left. My hand was sore but I was greatly satisfied.

         He smirked devilishly " I am done with you "

     I got the message, I was now a forgotten woman and a divorcée. At the age of thirty, how could I get my life back together? His mission of completely ruining my life was done.

       Mae walked in. She kissed him slowly and passionately he reciprocated the kiss.

    How could he kiss her in front of me OR?  Let her kiss him when I wasn't allowed to touch or kissing him. I only touched his hands in public gatherings.

              I was about to leave when he held my elbow harshly. The finger marks remained on my elbow. I jerked his hand away.

    " Be sure to be at the court  at 3 "

     I nodded.

           The rest of the night I cried a lot at the same time working on my new design.

    My thoughts drifted to our first meeting.

   It was at his parent's funeral. I dressed in a pitiful yellow sari. I constantly tripped over and over for I wasn't used to wearing the sari.

              I was heading to get some Ladoos from a tray on an elevated table. 

      " Take all " Aziel spoke calmly, giving me the tray. I stared at him in admiration because he was very tall and exceptionally handsome.

   He noticed my staring and smiled. " Your so adorable, chubby "

       " I am not Chubby " I replied stuffing my face.

      He frowned a little " why are you not downstairs with the others and why are you wearing that  "

       I sneered " don't mock me or else I will beat you up "

       He laughed at what and said. From then on we were inseparable  , he saved me from bullies at school and home. 

              The next day at three departed for the court . I waited for almost two hours for his arrival. The magistrate was getting impatient.

        " If Mr. Lin does not arrive in thirty minutes. The court hearing will be postponed to next week "

      I heaved a loud sigh of relief. At least the painful moment could be delayed.

      " No need " a husky voice echoed in the room .

        It was Aziel he looked dashing and had a calm temperament. He wore a professional suit of limited edition, I think I attended it's launching in France . His smile was broad and unusual.

     I had a bad feeling about it.

       He strolled over. His masculine fragrance and that of aftershavee rushed into my nostrils. This brought around a sense of familiarity.

          He handed some papers to the judge and gave me a very familiar assuring smile.

     The judge glances at me and then smiles .

    " Ok, Mr. Li. Even if this pushed through today  it would not matter since an extension of six months more will be necessary "

       " What's happening "it occurred i was the only one unaware of the happenings even the lawyers had left. They all seemed very pleased.

    " This divorce case is over " the judge announced hitting his hammer before leaving his seat. 

    Aziel looked cheerful, calm, elegant, and emphatic. His brown eyes were indecipherable, I was lost. For once in my twenty-nine years could not read or detect his eye. He concealed everything very much.

    I stared at Aziel confusedly. He smiled once again " This divorce will not push through," he said in a firm and sure tone.

    " Why " I asked in total frustration. Why was he playing with my feelings repeatedly?

     He smirked lightly " Pearl come with me "
