As Takeshi woke up, he felt relieved to be still alive, but he was in pain. His chakra meridians had taken a hit, but it looked like he had been protected at the very last second by gush of wind, which was probably Otuka's act, unwilling to see a child die because of a duel he had instigated.
'At least I learned something...Replicating a jutsu, especially one as lethal a this one, should not be done carelessly'
[Trial of Steel - A-rank Mission
You have caused so much trouble in the academy that you received the very worst punishment that existed after the Yuki clan complained: you have been sent to the Dojo of the Fog, protected by Otuka, the mad elder and relative of Byakugen, the founding Mizukage. Reputed for being one of the strongest swordsmen of the mist, he retired after becoming old, leaving his place. He used to wield Hiramekarei, one of the seven mystical blades of Kirigakure, later used by Chojuro.
Task - Get acknowledged by Otuka (Progress: 8%)
Rewards - 10 000 EXP, Swordsmanship Talent Upgrade, Reputation, unique title]
'The mission did not fail?', Takeshi realized, 'So...does that mean that I can complete the mission, as long as I challenge the elder times and times again?'
The only way to enter the Dojo of the Fog, which was overseen by the crazy elder Otuka, was to make troubles. At the same time, the fastest way to grow stronger was to complete this A-rank mission. However, just meeting him again would not raise his progress. He needed to go again once he made some progress. In a way, he had just acquired a new punching bag.
"Hehehe", he let out unwillingly, causing the girl sitting in front of him to title her head.
[Ana Hiritake - Lv. 10 Academy Student]
Surprisingly, Ana had gained one whole level after sparring with him. But the strangest part was the fact that after days spent together in the nursery, she had never once resented him for breaking her arm. It was almost the contrary. Often, he would hear notifications about his reputation skyrocketing with her and the other classmates, which was a rather strange outcome of the whole bullying quest he was on.
Worse still, she started to mimick his training regime and ask him question when he stopped, a rare learning mindset that he did not mind, and even applauded.
'If everyone was like that, then maybe Kirigakure would not have fallen so badly as to hide in its mist during the third shinobi war and attempt tricks'
So he never once refused to give insights.
Still, after four days of being held back in this nursery, he was allowed out. His parents were worried sick, but he made a quick excuse, which they did not buy as they had investigated the matter and learned the truth.
After getting grounded in the nursery, he was grounded in his own home.
Still, it was a good opportunity to monitor his progress. More than two months passed since he beat Biwa, and he had become much stronger. His skills improved, he learned a couple of new jutsu, including one shuriken jutsu, and he leveled up a couple of times. Better still, he had gained the chakra mastery talent and it made everything easier to learn.

A surprising outcome was that after reaching 110 points proficiency, his water shuriken became much more lethal and faster to cast, becoming C-rank, even though it was originally D-rank. His high chakra control and suiton experience allowed him to add rotation to the technique, and though this experiment only came after learning the intricacies of shurikenjutsu, he never expected the grade to go up by one whole rank.
He thus realized for the first time that...ninjutsu had incredible potential.
Looking at his logs, however, there was one part that made him incredibly joyful

[You have witnessed the legendary Fog Style Kenjutsu. Your talent in swordsmanship rises slightly]
Definitely, the teachers thought that it was punishment.
But at this point, Takeshi thought of bullying people more, if only to get sent to the Fog Dojo once more.
