Kiras "Tailed" Journey

Inari was looking towards their first realm with somber expression, the remaining inhabitants left behind apparently seem to call it "Earth" what a depressing name for something that was meant to be grand, but refused to recall the realms original name in her mind as there was no reason to dig up old wounds.

Who could have thought that souls could deviate so much especially when you let a race dominate the entire planet without competition, humans never evolved further than what she considered children instead their souls often corrupted with greed to a point where the soul inhabiting the body couldn't be described with anything else than the definition of sadness.

it was that time again every 5000 years roughly will the system they left behind purge all the corrupted souls out of the system allowing the remaining humans to breathe up just a tiny bit more while continuing their existence, it wasn't really out of ill will they were left behind but the rest of the divines had honestly given up and decided to start over on a new realm learning from the mistakes of "Earth".

While Inari was looking over the "Earth" realm did she spot something quite curious, one of the souls filtered out for the purge wasn't corrupted, but it had clearly deviated too far away from the human nature to be called human either, the soul was strong, a rather impressive amount of will and what fuck was that soul doing on earth!

its only a step away from being ascension worthy which is something that realms nature shouldn't naturally Foster, taking a deeper look at the soul, it was obvious the soul itself was warring with even the nature of its own vessel, not only from a strength perspective but also a nature perspective.

Inari was amazed, the soul had grown rather strong not only that, it was also very close to reaching divinity, how it was possible she doesn't know but what she did know was that all souls not a fraction as close as this soul was had been called dibs by the others already, divine souls was sought after, and infighting happened frequently due to the rarity, not to mention everyone wanted to finally expand their family, or gain their strength

Inari had many spirit beasts supporting her in her realm the race more often referred to as kitsune and the occasional other races who decided to join under her embrace, but the problem is most souls are snatched up for ascending before they are truly ready for the divine, most other gods don't mind but it means their vessels will always be what they are.

the soul she was looking at however ...

was it possible?

Could Inari finally get the daughter she always wanted, to make her essence a part of the soul requires the soul to be very strong and to be able to handle the divine.

Inaris emotions roared in her head, the mere possibility felt like winning a lottery as none of the others had any intention to even glance towards what they collectively considered their failure.

Inari wasn't allowed to interfere with the old realm, but after watching the Girls daily life she became more and more attached, until she finally decided to intervene before her soul was sent to the cycle.

She couldn't risk her dying by natural causes or accidents she needed to snatch it while it was still in the current vessel or she would loose the opportunity, what she was doing was very much against any and all protocols but at this point she didn't care, even if her potential future daughter refused her could she atleast ensure her soul gets reincarnated in the new system so she won't get purged.

and with that the decision was made.
