Firstly its a background and standard of who Long Lingxu is

He is the first son of Long Sulan, a General who serve under Ouki since his young age and has even be asked to join the Six Great General after the Death of Kyou but refuses to do so out of his respect and loyalty towards Ouki.

Long family it self dates back to the time of the first Emperor of Qin and has been the number 1 military supporter of the Royal Faction, but its strength has been falling out since the death of Lingfu Great Grand Father will be explained why at the later chapter.

with that the Long Family is a Strong like really strong family of Qin.

the Long Manor are placed in a town near Chu Border the reason why I wrote that Long Lingxu is walking in the village is because the Town that Long Manor are placed is a town consisting of 4 different village inside of it and only a small town surrounding the manor, the wall who is so old has been neglected after 6 generation of falling out that's why the Long's are called a Fallen ancient Family.

the situation of Long Lingxu is Good but not that good, bad and not much worse, he is a noble and owning a Town, village and bunch of workshop in all of Qin is considered not poor but yet does not have the power to splurge money right here and right there.

in terms of political power, even after falling to that state, the Long's still have some say in some political matters as shown in the chapters and deserve a respect knowing that the father of Lingxu is a general feared by many.

right now Lingxu is not only handling matters regarding the fall of Long's he also handle the issue in the Royal Faction and corruption in his own workshop owned by the Long's and his intelligence networks is not even that good as he only started it 3 years with low fund to say after buying all the armor and weapon for the Heilong, Lingxu situation is even more dire than you guys thinks.

so some of you may thinks that his promotion is over the top, no not really, considering his bloodline, his family, and his Family merits I say that such promotion and respect must be shown, and Sei who is someone who needs ally so badly see Lingxu as a potential ally if groomed right.

and some of you who thinks oh damn he is too powerful to be 18? well remember the op ass kid called shin? the one who even managed to receive a strike from the 3 great dragon of Wei? even in his injured state? a guy who killed a legendary general right here and there? yeah him? he is starting at 14 years old, with no traiining with no guidance and walking forward only using pure resilience and courage, and he managed to do all of that.

Lingxu on the other hand, start his training at the age of 13, and also has talent in his body which are never seen before, coupled by his genius piece of mind which even understand the machination of war after seeing it only once, will he be weak? of course no, will he be as strong as Ouki? Heck No he will not, not yet at least, he is Strong but you need to remember his enemy till this day is a small fry and he haven't even have a face off against anyone who is considered rare class, and you thinks that he is comparable to a legendary class? tone down your arse dude.

the reason why I do info dump here is because I also don't want to miss out on anything I planned for, and to give you guys a standard background and what to expect from MC, with that you will have more or so a general grasp at who he is and why he does such things without me needing to explain it inside rhe chapters
