{Day zero ~ 2:01PM, Seven hours before the abduction}
Bella's P.O.V
"Sooooooo? are you coming tonight?" My friend Bella asked me if I could go to her place tonight to study.... Senior year is too hard to deal with it alone.
"Yes sure, at 7 right?"
"Yes." The bell rang to leave school. So Bella and I got our backpacks ready and made our way outside the school. "Oh Bella, is Jack going to be there tonight?" I asked her as I played with a strand of my hair.
"Of course Briana." She smirked. "This is why I want you here tonight!" I have a huge crush on Jack for six months now and I think from the way he treats me, maybe he feels the same way.
"Oof...now I'm really looking forward for the night." I giggled and she pushed my playfully. "See you tonight then." I said laughing before we said our goodbyes. By the time I started to walk alone I heard a familiar voice calling my name from far away.
"BRIANA!" I stopped and turned around. I saw Jack coming towards me.
'Don't faint, don't faint, don't faint!'
"Hey Briana." He waved, smiling as he started walking with me.
Play it cool, Briana..
"Hi Jack." I said, smiling back at him.
"You're going home?"
"Yep."
"I will head to Jackson's place and," he placed his hands in his Jean pockets and looked down. "I was wondering.. if it's okay with you though, If I could walk you home."
"Oh uh..."
'HELL YES!'
"Yes of course. I would love too."
"I'm glad to hear that." Jack said smiling. As me and Jack were on our way for my home, we started talking. "So how have you been? We haven't talk for days."
"Ugh, I know and it's my fault. It's just I have homework all the time and I just started conservatory so I barely have time for anything."
"It's okay, I understand." He replied confidently. "As for the conservatory, are you interested in music?" he asked showing interest.
"Yeah, I play the piano." I replied shyly.
"Whoa really?"
"Yeah haha..." I giggled a little.
"I really want to hear you play piano. Whoa I got it!" he said as he stopped walking. So did I. "You'll play piano and i'll sing, I think you actually heard me once."
"Yes when you gave concert to our school. I think it was three months ago." How could I forget his angelic voice. I even have a video of his part. "But i'd love to."
"Great! I'm so excited." He exclaimed happy. "How about tommorow i'll come to your place?"
"Yes! That would be amazing!" I said smiling.
"Great!" With all the talking and excitement, we reached my house. "Well were here." I said neutral...but deep down sad.
"Oh, that fast?" Jack asked rubbing his back of his neck.
"Yep. Thank you tho, for walking me home."
"My pleasure to protect you from danger." He laughed and I laughed back....but jesus that was really cringy...
"Well then," I said as Iwalked to my door. "See you?"
"Of course." Jack said smiling. I waved at him and I finally walked inside my house to see my mom in the kitchen, doing the dishes and my dad in the living room, watching TV. "Hey mom, hey dad!" I greeted them as I gave a big kiss on my mom's cheek.
"How was school today, Brie?" My mom asked.
"The usual...nothing new."
"How is Bella?" Dad asked as he was still watching TV. "Is her mother better?"
"Yeah, the doctors said her arm is better so next week she'll get her gypsum off." I replied, taking off my backpack.
"Oh that's a relief. I was really scared when I heard that she was in the hospital." my mom said.
"I know... " I played with my fingers.. "So...um today Bella invited me to her place to study. Can I go?"
"Well if you are going there to actually study and not chit chat about boys, then yes." My mom said as she was wiping a plate.
I rolled my eyes. "I told you this year I'll get you good grades."
"You better, little one." My dad said as he stood up. "You can go honey. Just make sure to be home by 9. It starts to get dark after 8."
"Okay. 9 it isssss, thank youuuu!" I said as I ran excited to kiss my dad's cheek.
"Brie, are you going to sit to eat or did you had lunch at school?"
"I ate at school so I'll just take an apple for the moment." I said as I walked towards the counter and I grabbed an apple. "I will be upstairs if you need anything."
"Okay honey." My mom said and I walked upstairs.
His P.O.V
"I couldn't take her, a guy brought her home." I heard him from the walkie-talkie telling me. I sighed and stood up. "What should I do?"
"Don't leave. I'm coming right after you. And next time she exits the house, we follow her."

*In the afternoon*
{Day zero ~ 6:45PM Three hours before the abduction}
Briana's P.O.V
I got downstairs as fast as I could while zipping my jacket.
"Sweet Lord, calm down. No one's running behind you." My dad said as he placed the book he was reading away.
"I'm running because I'm already late!"
"This is the first time I see a student being that thirsty for homework."
"I wonder what is the name of the homework... what grade is in?" my mom smirked. I looked at her surprised "The homework." I cleared my throat.
"I an leaving now!" I yelled as I opened the door. My mom giggled.
"Okay honey but remember, be home at 9." My dad reminded me.
"Okayyyyyy!" I groaned as I left the house, making my way to Bella's place..
Just then, during walking, I had that feeling...that someone is following me. That someone was literally behind me. I looked behind me to see nothing except cars and a black jeep parked next to my house. Being paranoid over eveything lately because of senior year.. And I was pretty sure that I was just wrong.
I arrived at Bella's house and I rang the doorbell. I fixed my hair and jacket and then Bella opened.
"Hey girl." Bella said and I walked in.
"You mean hey BRIANA!" I leaned closer to her. "Is he here?" I whispered.
"Yes he's in the living room." Bella whispered back as she closed the door.
"Briana?" I heard Jack's voice from inside. A few seconds later, he appeared."What are you doing here?" he asked, smiling.
"I came here to study with Bella. What about you? I didn't know you we're here." Lies...the main reason I came here was just to see him.
"Same, she said she needed some help..so here I am."
"Yes, same for me." A plan that succeed. Jack didn't notice a thing. Looks like he actually believed us. "Well I guess we all can sit and study together."
"I don't mind if I'm surrounded by such a great company." Jack slightly smirking.
Oh he knows what he's doing..
*After two hours*
I yawned as I was turning the pages. The boredom was unreal...Jack was doing maths by the time we sat down and Bella was literally texting dudes.
On another hand... I just think the plan failed.
I dropped my hand against the coffee table. "Bella what time is it?"
"It's....oh it's..." She paused to look at her phone. "9."
"Shit, I have to go." I said as I started to put my books back in my backpack. " I will See you guys tommorow."
"Do you want me to drive you home? it's pretty dark outside" Jack suggested. To be honest...I would die to get in the car, but since my parents didn't allow me to date during senior year... and I bet that dad will be glancing at the window to see if I'm home already...it wasn't a good idea.
"I would love to but it's only 10 minutes away. You don't have to drive me home."
"But I don't mind." Jack said as he stood up.
"I'm sorry, Jack.. maybe some other time." I said literally being heartbroken that I let him down.
"okay..." He said and I stood up, taking my books. "See you later Bella."
"See you, text me once you get home." Bella asked.
"Okay. Goodnight!" I waved at them and I walked towards the door. As I was about to open the door, I heard Jack's voice.
"oh, Briana?" I turned to face him.
"Yes?"
"Are we going to do it tommorow?" I smiled.
"Of course." His smile appeared once again after my reply and I waved at him makjng my way out of the house. During my walk, I had that feeling again that someone was following me just like everytime the last weeks but this time I felt it coming closer and closer, like being exactly behind me. I didn't pay any attention as I blamed myself for hallucinating once again...but in all of a sudden, as I was close to my place, someone came from behind and then everything went black...
