Synopsis

Chapter 1Katie's Matrix

[Writers note: I'm just flying by the seat of my pants with no plan hope you enjoy]

I woke up to this pounding in my head and I know I had no drugs the night before at the house party.

"Fuck...…why does my head hurt?" I asked myself looking in my mirror and as if I was on a bad acid trip my reflection distorted to look like me but with a demon aesthetic with black horns and wings.

"That's my fault Katie, my name is Kasandra. On the way home last night someone attempted to mug us and I had to take over the body real quick to fend them off" said Kasandra.

"What the hell.....I am so confused I thought you were just a character from the stories I wrote when I was younger" I said extremely confused.

"Clearly not either this or your drink got spiked last night" she said sarcastically.

"So are the others really then too Kathrine and Bridgette?" I ask

When I said their names they appeared behind Kasandra, Bridgette with a purple angel aesthetic with purple wings and Kathrine looking like a red version of Kasandra with red wings.

"Ah fuck...….so DID," they nod "god damn so everything with grandpa Miller and then all the fucked up shit after is true my…our parents were wrong about everything" I said trying to process this.

"Yes Katie we are real everything is real and if you want we can show you how to achieve the were-cat/bird hybrid form from your dreams as well as all the powers" said Bridgette.

I nod and they show me how to bend reality to my whim. I then proceeded to become the hero Matrix. On my first few missions I mostly helped finding lost kids and animals, small scale stuff really. I won't lie though I did use my power selfishly. At times I teleported myself to locations instead of driving unless I needed to transport things when I was getting groceries and the like (I just found it easier to drive, less likely for stuff to become lost in space-time). Well a couple years after my alters helped me awaken this power a whole ass mount Everest sized meteor was hurtling straight towards earth and I flew straight at it readying a photon disintegration blast about to blow it off course.

BEEP BEEP BEEEEEP

"I'm awake, I am awake" I say sitting up about to throw the alarm clock before deciding not to "fuck why do I have such weird ass dreams."

I then get ready for class before leaving on an hour long ass drive to college.
