Leon didn’t want to be a hero; he just wanted to live a good life. It seems like villains are actually happier than heroes. But Leon never expected that being a villain could make him so popular! Why do these heroes look so happy even after getting beaten up? Anyway, this is a story about doing whatever you want, with no regard for the consequences.
Big Apple City, Hell's Kitchen.
In the shadows of the night, some forgotten corners of the city were brewing dirty crimes, ready to unfold.
"Ma'am, please don't panic. I just want to buy you a drink."
The man's words would have sounded normal if he wasn't holding a gun and if this wasn't happening in a dark alley instead of a bar.
"Charles, look, you're scaring the lady," said the other of the duo. "Move aside, let me handle this directly! Haha!"
Susan felt like she was having the worst luck ever.
First, she had a bad day at work and got scolded by her boss. After work, she fought with her boyfriend, and they parted on bad terms.
She thought of going to a bar to relax, only to run into these two annoying creeps.
After rejecting their disgusting invitation to play some "fun games," Susan angrily left the bar.
As she cursed her boss and worried about next month's rent, she suddenly felt something was wrong.
Turning around, she saw the two sleazy men trailing her not far behind. When she looked back, they even gave her disgusting smiles.
Living in Hell's Kitchen, Susan had seen this kind of thing coming, so she started running.
But running in heels wasn't ideal for escaping, and she quickly got cornered.
"Listen to me!"
Susan still tried to reason with them.
"You don't have to do this..."
The more Susan spoke, the more desperate she became, as the two men showed no signs of backing off. Instead, they smirked and continued closing in on her.
Crap...
They're repeat offenders...
Should she gamble?
Bet that they wouldn't want to kill her?
Or...
As she was debating in her head, Susan suddenly noticed something on the rooftop—a person!
"Help!"
Like a drowning person grabbing at straws, Susan shouted up at the figure, "Save me!"
The two men turned around and saw something they couldn't believe.
That person was floating down from the rooftop!
Anyone seeing this in the middle of the night would be scared! So the man holding the gun fired a burst at him.
As the saying goes, no matter how skilled, you can't dodge a knife.
And in this case, it's a gun.
Amidst Susan's screams and the gunfire, the floating figure fell to the ground.
The two men breathed a sigh of relief.
It was probably some idiot who watched too many comics and wanted to play hero.
Damn! Scared me for a second!
They paid no mind to the fact that they might have just killed someone.
After all, this was Hell's Kitchen! People die here all the time.
...
Susan had lost all hope.
Seeing how experienced these two were, she had already given up on the idea of getting out of this alive.
...
"Ouch..."
The spot where the "dead" guy fell...
"You young people have no morals!"
"You tried to sneak attack, but you can't handle it! No skills at all!"
Under the horrified gazes of the two men and Susan, the "dead" guy stood up again!
...
Leon thought he had been very cautious. He even restrained himself from eating popcorn for a full 30 seconds! Why wouldn't these people even let him sneak a peek?
Leon had hoped to learn a bit more by observing: the many facets of evil.
Originally, things could have been simpler, like before.
He would show up at the last minute, take down the bad guys, and then give the victim a couple of slaps to teach them not to run into dark alleys or trust someone just because they claim to be good.
Unfortunately, not every victim had brains.
But he understood.
Just like a drowning person grasping at anything, in such situations, survival instincts kick in.
"Too bad about my $2,000 coat..."

Yes, Leon wasn't just a time traveler; he was also ridiculously overpowered.
When he first crossed over, Leon thought he'd have to live a happy life as a plagiarist, becoming a famous entertainer.
But when his system arrived, Leon realized something was off.
**[God of Humanity System]**
That's the name of Leon's system.
As a certain philosopher once said: First of all, this nail doesn't look like bread.
This system didn't look like one a protagonist in a city novel would have!
Out of habitual caution, he investigated his environment.
Leon always considered himself a careful person!
So, ten hours after crossing over, careful Leon was speechless.
He had arrived in the Marvel universe!
Damn it!
Forget about plagiarizing stories—this place is so easy to die in from random AOE attacks!
As everyone knows, Marvel is a world of constant destruction. Every now and then (meaning every day), a bad guy blows up a building, a hero blows up a building, or aliens blow up a building.
It's totally safe...NOT!
This place is only suitable for villains!
Although it might be fun to be a villain, for the first twenty-odd years of his life, Leon thought he was probably, maybe, still a decent person... right?
...
What else could he do? There was no going back!
Like they say: You're already here~
Fortunately, he had his cheat ability!
This was Leon's only hope.
**[God of Humanity System]!** What does that make you think of?
Of course, Superman from next door!
Leon thought so too. He excitedly activated the system, and then... nothing.

That's it?
That's it?!
What about the Kryptonian bloodline I was promised?!
Fine, I'd settle for a Titan bloodline!
Stupid system!
...
Though he complained, Leon still honestly distributed his stat points. Two to Agility, two to Stamina, one to Strength.
Now his stats were:
- Strength: 14
- Agility: 16
- Stamina: 14
- Intelligence: still 15.
Next, **time for a lottery!**
**A ten-draw!**
...
With a pile of junk from the lottery, Leon began his crime... no, *crime-stopping* journey.
With 90% white items and 10% green, it's a miracle to pull anything good!
However, Leon did manage to get a few useful things.
Aside from the black trench coat with a big chain at the collar, the skill that let him float down earlier was:
**[Flight Technique]**
- **Effect:** Allows the user to float in the air and fly at a certain speed.
- **Skill Level:** 1
- **Remark:** Newton was kicked out of the chat for being too opinionated.
He also pulled a bunch of other random items:
**[Tom's Flying Wing]**
- **Effect:** Allows the user to glide for a short distance.

- **Effect 2:** Mental Intimidation: 1
- **Rank:** White
- **Quality:** Ruined
- **Remark:** Don't ask, it's just nostalgia!
- **Remark 2:** Have you seen the light?
...
Of course, Leon wouldn't use stuff like that—the mental intimidation effect seemed shady!
The truly useful stuff was already equipped, like his mask:
**[Rorschach's Inkblot Mask]**
- **Effect 1:** Physical Defense 5, Magic Defense 5
- **Effect 2:** Those who look at the mask see their inner selves.
- **Rank:** Green
- **Quality:** Excellent
- **Remark:** Tell me, what do you see?!
- **Remark 2:** Remember, you're locked in here with *me*!
...
Brushing off invisible dust, Leon stuffed his hands in his pockets and lifted his head slightly, revealing the mask with eerie inkblots swirling on it.
"So, tell me:
What do you see?!"

**(Author's Note):** The protagonist of this story isn't exactly a good person. He has no "no-kill" principle and enjoys causing trouble. Also, he's a bit mentally unstable and quite talkative, so he might team up with some of Marvel's other loudmouths. If this doesn't suit your taste, feel free to pass. Thanks for understanding!
