Disclaimer: This book has graphic themes such as slavery, sexual content, and gore, and more, please be adivised! The name's Liam, I know, you were expecting something Japanese, happens all the time, but no, I was born in Canada. Well, anyway, I was run over by a truck, I know, real creative, and, well, I was reincarnated, but I guess I might as well have some fun, especially since I have this great system!

Chapter 6: Solace

Liam and all of his slaves arrived at his house and were dropped off. "Julianna, take all of them to the servant's quarters, ensure they are separated by gender, and have one of the docile girls' bed near the elf, she seems rather traumatized and easily scared." Liam explained. Julianna did as she was asked.

Liam walked into the house after the slaves, then began to explore the building which is already furnished. 'A nice touch if I do say so myself...' He thought to himself.

Liam sat down and began to relax as he waited for Julianna to come and bug him again. After around twenty minutes, Julianna approached Liam. "Have one of the girls get food items, and make sure they're all fed well, we don't want any of them to be underfed." Liam said.

"How did you know what I was going to ask you about?" Julianna asked.

"It was already something on my mind." Liam said.

"Oh, I see." Julianna said. Liam placed a bag of silver on the table.

"Those are the food funds, whenever we need more, create some, and whenever you are low on power go to the god realm and recharge." Liam said.

"Okay. Wait, I'm not a fucking battery!" Julianna yelled angrily. Liam chuckled. "Whatever, yeah, I'll do it. I think Frida will be good at shopping, but just in case I'll send Kim with her." Julianna said. Liam nodded in approval. "You should also greet all of them since they haven't seen you yet and all of that." Julianna said. After Julianna left, Liam stood up and made his way towards the servant's quarters.

After a bit of walking, Liam reached the quarters where several individuals were conversing. Suddenly, the room became quiet as the man that all of them presume to be their master entered the room.

"So the fucker finally showed up." The red-haired beastman said.

"Yes." Liam said simply.

"So what could've possibly possessed you to buy so many slaves?" She asked.

"And why does that matter?" Liam asked.

"Well I'm just wondering since you bought so many women, y'know, I've seen what happens to female slaves." She responded.

"Well, it doesn't matter since you wouldn't believe my answer anyway. It's useless talking to a brick wall after all." Liam said.

"Hey! It's not my fault my boobs are so small!" She yelled.

"I wasn't talking about your breasts, I was saying you're stubborn." Liam said.

"Bullshit! All you fucking nobles want is sex and I know it!" She yelled as she got angrier than she already was.

"I think you're missing one detail here." Liam said.

"Oh yeah!? And what's that!?" She asked angrily.

"I'm not a noble, I'm just very rich." He said.

"Bullshit, how would a guy like you become so fucking rich so young?" She asked.

"The woman from earlier, her name is Julianna. Her title is goddess. Put simply, she's my money supply." Liam explained. "Oh, you're all forbidden from telling other people about that by the way." Liam added.

"Yeah right. Shut the fuck up if you're just going to lie." She said as she walked away angrily.

"Ignoring that, I am Liam, your master. The primary reason you all are here is to perform upkeep on this estate. As for the strong individuals with battle experience, you are to defend the estate. That is all." Liam said. The slaves all nodded slightly, afraid of what might happen if they ask questions.

Liam left the servant's quarters and went to his room to think further on what his next move should be. 'I asked for all of these abilities for sex, and yet, I can't even bring myself to use them. Some would say that I'm just being a good person, but I don't really care about that... Why do I keep stopping myself?' Liam thought as he sat on his bed.

'Furthermore, what was the point in getting this estate? So what if I can live comfortably, that means nothing if I never do anything, life will just get stale, doing the same thing over and over again...' He thought as he leaned back and supported himself by placing his hands on his bed. As he drifted into thought, he heard a knock on his door.

"Come in." He said. After about a second, Julianna entered his room.

"I heard about what happened with the slaves, I'm surprised you were so direct with them, I expected you to try and raise their morale or something." Julianna said.

"I thought about it, but ultimately decided against it, I gave them their simple tasks and told them they are to do them." Liam said. Julianna sighed.

"Well, whatever, anyway, I decided to have a couple of the slaves get the horses and carriages as well since we didn't wind up using them for the slave auction." Julianna said. Liam nodded approvingly.

"A little off-topic, but- No, nevermind..." Liam ultimately decided against saying whatever he was about to with a sigh.

"You seem rather depressed." Julianna said.

"I'm just unsure as to what I should do. I'm in a new world, but I don't really feel any different from when I was back home. Actually, I feel like something is missing... I'm not quite sure what it is, but..." Liam sighed before continuing. "Nevermind, you probably don't want to hear this. You're dismissed for now." Liam said.

"Alright...?" Julianna said with a slightly confused tone as she was unsure of whether or not to press further into whatever is troubling Liam. Julianna left the room, ultimately deciding that it would be better for her to leave him alone for now.

'Am I even less happy here?' Liam asked himself. 'Perhaps... No, I don't think I felt that way... But I suppose... Hey, Yue, I hope you're doing okay...' Liam thought, hoping to give himself some solace.

A bit heavier of a chapter, but eh. Also, took me a while, I told ya I wasn't very active.
