Shadows vs Frames 2

I didn't stand up to look at Naoya's smirking face. Instead, I went down into my shadow to avoid unnecessary attacks.

I could see Naoya rushing towards me. Luckily, he was just a half second late to reach me before I wholly submerged within my shadow.

Naoya was looking closely at the shadow in front of him. Sadly, he didn't put his hands in the shadow, or he would have lost it.

Naoya shouted at me through the shadow, "Is that what you're going to do, huh. Being a little bitch while you hide away in your shadow. Come out and face me like a man!" 

Instead of seeing me come out, Orochi shot out of the shadow at high speeds, catching Naoya by surprise and catching him between its mouth.

I came out of another shadow that was nearby. 

'I managed to trick him into thinking that I would stay in the same shadow. Then having Orochi come out of the original shadow would open him up for a surprise attack. Now for the second part.'

"Nue!"

A large owl-like creature with orange feathers and a white mask-like skull appeared and flew towards the sky. Its goal was to reach Naoya, trapped between Orochi's mouth.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Naoya said before being electrocuted. 

Nue managed to get some good hits with its electricity, stunning and damaging Naoya simultaneously. In the meantime, I summoned my Dogs and Toad.

It's too bad it didn't last long because Naoya managed to gain his bearings and use his Cursed Technique on both Nue and Orochi, which caused Nue to fall and Orochi to stay still. He then started heading downwards using Orochi as his footing.

I immediately unsummoned the frozen Orochi and falling Nue and saw Naoya plummeting towards the ground. He managed to turn mid-air to land on his feet. 

He quickly got up to meet me but had his left arm immediately contained by the tongue of my Toad and had his right sight mauled by Divine Dog Black. I kept White near me so I wasn't too vulnerable. 

'Everythings going to plan. Now that he's weakened I should…'

Everything slowed down as he threw a hidden blade at me. It was too quick for me to dodge as I didn't know he had one. It was pointed right between my eyes. 

I accidentally flinched and closed my eyes.

I felt nothing.

'I felt nothing!?' 

Opening my eyes, I could see my Divine Dog White disappearing as it had a knife in its head. 

'It must have taken the hit for me… I'll never forget this White.'

Something was changing with my technique. It felt like something more.

I unsummoned my shikigami as Naoya was close to killing the Divine Dog Black and Toad while I was distracted.

I looked at him.

He looked at me with a smirk.

"Are you sad that I killed your weak Dog, Megumi? Your father, Toji, would never stoop to being a crybaby. He was a cold, ruthless killer while you're just nothing.' Naoya said condescendingly.

"Did you say something? I couldn't hear you with Toji's dick in your mouth." 

A vein popped out on Naoya's forehead.

"I'll show YOU!"

Naoya didn't head directly toward me. Instead, he was going in circles around me as Toji did to Gojo. With every activation of his technique, he built up speed. You couldn't even see Naoya anymore, but it was just a blur that went in circles.

'If I don't do something quick, his sonic punch will kill me. I can't go into my shadow, as he'l expect it and catch me before I escape. Think, Megumi, Think! Use what you've learned and expand on it.'

Naoya seemed to be going even faster. He was also kicking up dust around him, making it hard to see the area.

Suddenly, Naoya blurred towards me at blinding speeds. He was aiming for the killing blow.

His punch cracked the air around by its speed. Naoya's punch had landed.

The dust cloud Naoya had kicked up was also starting to fall while Naoya was still in the same punching stance. 

His expression turned sour when he finally realized that my shadow blocked his fist, which seemingly moved on its own. 

"What is this!"

"I was going for a Domain Expansion but instead got an Auto Defence, it seems. I used Simple Domain to allow me to detect you entering my viscinity and Falling Blossom Emotion in combination with my Cursed Technique to react to your attack which would move my shadow to block you."

I explained my new move to strengthen and stabilize it through a binding vow. It worked because it required less concentration and cursed energy to keep it active. 

I could see Naoya trying to attack me at 24 frames per second. Punch, kick, elbow, and hidden knife were useless against my Shadow Defence.

I could smell the desperation on Naoya as he was doing everything to land a hit on me. He must feel like Rock Lee when trying to attack Gaara in the preliminary rounds.

"YOU ARE NOT GOJO OR TOJI! I AM STRONGER THAN YOU!"

"You know Naoya, your life is nothing. You serve zero purpose. What are you even her for? To worship Toji, a bum who's been dead for 3 years? You should just kill yourself now!"

Seeing him wailing in my shadows was pathetic. I should finish him off now.

"Cursed Technique Extension: Well's Unknown Abyss!"

"Nue and Orochi!"

A gargantuan Nue, large enough to perch on a skyscraper, appeared out of my shadow. It possessed two arms, a snake-like tail, and the same symbol as the Great Serpent on its forehead.

"I should thank you Naoya for showing me the way! By killing Divine Dog White you gave me the feeling of my Shikigami's power being inherited and fusing with my other Dog!"

Naoya didn't respond and looked hopelessly up towards the Nue-Orochi fusion, which looked like it could take down a city. 

"Tell me Naoya, have you ever been hit by lightning?"

"Megumi, stop!" Naobito, the onlooker for the whole fight, decided to interfere. He disappeared faster than even Naoya.

I still didn't listen and would not let this opportunity slip.

"Nue, NOW!"

A flash of light lit up the whole area.
