Chapter 4: Etim and his gang seek for save Johney

Many suggestions were mentioned in the meeting.

But the only two suggestion that was accepted is that, they should look for a female that could follow them so that she would back the child as if she was the owner of the baby and the police will not challenge them for that.

The second suggestions is that, they should all go to a native doctor and consult the oracle if they would go and come back save or not before they moved for the journey.

After their meeting one of them called a female on phone that is capable to join them for the journey. The female name was Samba.

Samba, a hardened woman with a cold, calculating stare, arrived quickly, eager to join the gang on their criminal endeavor. Then they all went to the native doctor.

When they got to the native doctor house, they met the native doctor In his sitting room and greeted him and the man welcome them and offer them sits.

"Yes, how can I help you people?"

Etim explain to the native doctor about the child they were ask to kidnap and they have come to consult the oracle about their Journey.

"Ok, you will all follow me now to the second room their I will show you how the journey will be."

The native doctor stands up and moved to the room he had said and they all followed him.

In the room, there is a board covered with red cloth opposite the door. The house is full of different charms which was hang to the wall. There are idols at the both side of the board.

The native doctor moves near the board and stretch out his hand to the board then he said some words of incantation.

And after the incantation, suddenly, the board was filled with the image of a hotel room, and the gang could see themselves inside, preparing for their mission.

The scene played out like a movie, with sounds and voices coming from the board, as if the gang were actually in the room.

Etim and his gang watched in wide-eyed wonder and trepidation, not knowing what the vision meant for their future.

Still showing on the board, They all dressed in a black shirt and trousers and they took black face masks that could cover all there faces except their eyes and put it in their pockets.

After dressing up, they also took guns along with them and they checked their weapons and ammunition, ensuring everything was in working order, as they steeled themselves for the task ahead and they went into their car and sped away.

Not too long, the gang arrived In front of a gate and Etim who was driving honked for the gate keeper to open for them.

When the gate keeper heard the Sound of the car, he came out to check who was inside and he saw five men and a woman in the car, then Etim stepped out of the car and leveled his gun at the trembling gatekeeper.

"Open the gate," he growled, or you'll end up with a bullet between your eyes.'

The gatekeeper, trembling with fear, fumbled for the key, unlocked the gate, and scurried away.

Then Etim entered the car and droved in. Etim and his gang came out and ordered the female to wait outside and watch

while the male should follow him.

Etim opened the door of the house without knocking and he met Mrs Jamo on the chair sleeping soundly. Mrs Jamo was the mother of the baby they wanted to kidnap.

Etim went to where she was sleeping and hit the chair, then Mrs Jamo woke up and was afraid seeing someone wearing a black face mask and holding a gun.

"Eheh! don't shout otherwise I will shoot your head," said Etim. You! ( Pointing at his second) go inside and check the house and bring what we are here for," continued Etim.

Immediately he rushed into a room and came out with a baby boy.

Mrs Jamo's eyes welled with tears, her heart breaking at the sight of her son in the arms of a stranger.

"Please, don't do this," she begged, her voice breaking. 'He's my only child. He's all I have. You can't take him from me.'

Etim sneered. 'You should've thought of that before you decided to get on the wrong side of people like me," said Etim.

Mrs Jamo's legs gave way beneath her as she collapsed to the floor, overcome with despair.

"Please, I'll give you anything you want. Just let me keep my child," she sobbed, clutching at Etim's pant leg.

"Hey! shut up, we are not interested in whatever you want to give us, now let's go! He order his gang, and they left there Immediately.

Then Mrs Jamo peep outside to know the type of vehicle which the kidnappers were driving then she snap the plate number of the vehicle secretly by using the cutting to cover herself.

After snapping it, she called the DPO Immediately and send the picture of the vehicles plate number to him and told him that, the kidnappers as came to kidnapped her new born baby and she beg for mercy.

In the police station, the DPO called three officers to come to his office immediately.

And the three of them answered the DPO and saluted him.

"We have an Emergency call now. And I want you to go and attack the kidnappers now, I will show you the plate number of their vehicle."

And the DPO showed the three police the plate number in his phone and they also saw the picture of the vehicle.

"I'll send the picture to you so that you could use it to get the vehicle of the Kidnappers and you should immediately go and attack them and bring the baby they have kidnapped back here is that clear."

"Sir, please I have a fever since yesterday and I was feeling cold and I also have headache sir and I just managed to come to work today sir," said the first police officer.

"Sir, i will be honest, I've been filling ill since this morning and I 've been trying to act like everything is fine. Please I don't have much strength to go believe me sir" said the second police officer.

"Sir, my wife just had our first child and I don't want to die before I raise him up....," Said the third police officer.

"Shut your mouth you liers! I commanded you to go and find the kidnapped baby and save his life and now you are telling me nonsense, (he heat the table angrily and stands up) do you think you are here to play or don't you know the work which you people are doing, and you want your salary to be going fine and you don't want to work. Now I don't want to hear anything again go with five more boys and search the baby for me now, is that clear?"

"Yes sir," they reply. Then the DPO sent the picture of the Kidnappers vehicle to one of them and they saluted him and moves out.

As they moves out of the DPO office, one of them said, "why is our oga is behaving like this? Why is he giving us this kind of command? And this command is very dangerous we might even die in the process and what will be our gain?"

The order replied, see you don't have choice and we can't go against his commandments or else we will go to jail so we have to do as he said.

Then they assemble five more officers and the drove off.

As the officers were driving the DPO sent out another team and told them to take a different path inorder to find the kidnappers. And they left immediately.

As the second team were going on the path the DPO had commanded them to take they spotted the vehicle they were searching for and they called the first team to join them at the location.

The officers followed the direction given to them and quickly arrived at the location.
