1.13.2 Sparring accepted.

The day was ruined and Luvi understood that his classes might not be as easy as he had assumed.

But he didn't mind much, if his efforts can help him achieve something. He didn't mind pursuing it even if there are those that wish to make fun of him or look down on him for those said efforts.

Because what they don't know is that the world had changed since Luvi had released the practice techniques, their effects might not be noticeable now, but soon people will come to treat the ability of awakeners as a support and not their main method to fight.

They will soon abandon their prejudice and treat everyone the same.

But Luvi also understood that prejudice is something close to nature to humanity. The desire to look down on others, feeling that they are superior in any way.

He understood that and even relished that feeling himself.

At least that way, other people would have the resources and opportunities to fight back, unlike before where the awakening limited your future.

So the class was over and Luvi was tired so his body ached.

There were a total of three classes a day, with each being two hours long. And with the breaks in between the classes, it becomes 8 hours a day totally. Which Luvi didn't mind much.

At least he got breaks in between.

"I am telling you… just request for a spar with that bastard. He will surely accept."

"Sure, let's see if he does it or not." Andy said while clipping his nails that grew out on their own when he was not looking.

But as Luvi looked, he could see that Andy was struggling to even cut them with his current nail cutter.

"I pray that he does." So Luvi smiled, looking forward to what Andy had in store for Adam.

"Luvi, I am curious about it. You said you found the truth about the real method from some forum?... Have you still not found it?" Andy asked, while both of them rested in their hangout spot that Andy had shown to Luvi.

Both with Mango juice in their hand.

"No, I tried searching. But you know how those forums are, the post comes and goes unless you save it. Security and whatnot. I regret not saving it."

"Ah! I wanted to see if I could find the poster. At least he seems to be ahead of me in the practice."

"Forget about that, let's focus on the present."

According to FIX, her drone would reach Aoto's meeting location in around two days. But in truth, it had already reached the area one day ahead and while under stealth, he slowly watched the area around the compound where Aoto lived.

-"Few suspicious fellows… as expected."

But Following Aoto was not the only thing she did. The five men that Aoto found, she had put a tracker on each of them the moment her drone reached the place.

It was why she saw two of the workers moving toward a random building instead of their home or their real job. She understood that something was wrong.

Though, it was why she was here.

The most important aspect of the plan was Aoto, he was responsible for making the miracle drug that would change the world. And his moves would also not be considered small.

He went snooping around employee records and then made them process some raw products for something weird.

It would be weird if he was not found out.

As for who was spying on him?

"So the young master just asked you to process some materials?"

"Yes, it was a bit of an ingenious and unique method and material combination. But that's all he employed us for. From what we understand, the last step is always done by him alone."

"So you people still have no idea what he's cooking?"

"No, sir."

They had nothing for now, which calmed FIX a bit. At least Aoto knew what to say to his men and what not to say. But there was still the issue of him being unaware that there were spies among his chosen men

And it's not even been a week since he employed them.

-'It feels like babysitting.'

FIX understood that the small group Luvi had created needed to be trained properly before they revealed themselves to the world.

And though most of them were disappointing, there was still an individual she had hope about.

That being the furry, the only individual she hadn't been able to find the identity of. She only knew their location, not who they were or what they did.

Making them pretty talented, if they were able to hide from her snooping.

Though there wasn't much to worry anyways, FIX is going to meet that individual when she visits Russia for the auction anyways.

-'But first, I have to deal with these men.'

FIX was not evil enough to kill them. She can see these men belonged to Aoto's family and they would end up telling these things to Aoto's father at the end of the day.

Because no matter what the relationship between Aoto and his father was, they were still family. Even if it's nothing more than Aoto's father fearing the safety of some backup he created.

So she plans to threaten these men so that they leave Aoto on their own without any need to explain to Aoto that she spied on him and his men.

As for how to obtain the leverage over these men?

It was simple, all she needed was to wait and let the trackers do their work in tracking and recording the things around them.

And for people like her, she was aware that they always carried some unspeakable dirt on them.

"Show me your hands, without bandages." Daarun asked and Luvi complied.

Majority of students were taking part in hand to hand combat without using any of their powers like it was ordered.

To learn how to utilize abilities, it was another class. And the one where they let a student practice their ability during combat was in another.

This was for simple hand to hand combat which was closer to self defense training for people with long range abilities and killer moves for those with short range abilities.

It was why even though the students practiced carrying all kinds of power, rarely did they used it during combat. That is unless they got agreement from teacher Daarun.

"They are better than before, so my suggestion seems to be working." Daarun said as he turned around LUvi's knuckles and saw that the injuries were being healed instead of getting worse.

"But pain is still there, it feels as if a single mistake might cause my flesh to be ruptured." Luvi complained a bit. He was still young and not so used to pain.

If body training feels like leading a peaceful river through your body, then fist training feels like controlling the flow of this river through a dam and letting out specific amounts of it from time to time.

Which puts a massive strain on his dam, which was another way of saying his flesh.

"Just keep at it.Remember, all that flab needs to go, if you want to control that mana in your body."

The problem with Luvi previous was simple, his flesh was too soft. But when he found what the problem was, he changed his practice style to strengthen the outer muscles of his body. Which left him a lot more tired than before, but he enjoyed it.

It was then that Andy saw the chance and approached Adam while Luvi was distracting Daarun.

In his own words.

"Hey shithead, I didn't like the prank you played on my friend before."

"So lady finger is here for revenge?" Adam ignored his sparring partner and walked closer to Andy. "Guess all that media attention has made you forget our hierarchy."

"Then let's go, I request for a sparring match."

"You really have gotten bold. And my hands were itching as well, I feel sad that my fist hasn't touched your face in a long while."

As Luvi said, there was no need for harsh words. Adam was the kind of guy that was aiming for an opportunity to beat Andy. Hence he readily accepted it without worry.

So the two went toward Daarun and requested him to greenlight their duel.

But Daarun didn't say anything from the start, he was aware of the past of these two and he wondered if Andy was forced into it. So he asked.

"Yes sir, no one is forcing me." Andy said with some embarrassment, wondering just how much of a pushover some teachers think of him as.

To which, Adam just scoffed.

But Daarun can see Andy was the one who requested this spar. And when he saw Andy's hand, his eyes shined a bit.

Andy was unlike Luvi, he rarely talked to others due to his past and asked for help. He was used to doing things on his own, so Daarun never focused so much on Andy.

But now that he looks at him, he can see that the spar might be a bit fun.

So he accepted it.

"But I will say it again, no powers are allowed in this sparring arena. That is even true for student Anderson, even if your ability is not strong, I won't allow the use of it."

"Understood teacher."

"Understood!"
